We had a brilliant stay at Mottaret. The accommodation was perfect for a family of five - very well furnished and spacious. It is very close to 5he supermarket, bus stop and ski lifts. Francois was a brilliant host - very welcoming and took time to talk us through everything. We highly recommend this accommodation and Mottaret as a magical winter holiday destination.

Very well equiped apartment in a top location. The owner thought of everything you need and has local tips for great places to eat and things to do!The apartment is very quiet, has private parking (outside&inside) and features two balconies with plenty of sun overlooking a small creek and the main peak of the Meribel valley.Walking routes start on its doorsteps, restaurants, shops and a supermarket are a 5 minute walk away and the skislopes 7 minutes.All in all a great place to stay, right in the middle of the Trois Vallees!

Perfect stay!

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful stay at Francois’ place for our family Christmas ski trip. The communication was excellent and Francois provided some really helpful recommendations on where to eat. The apartment is very cosy and spacious and also in a fantastic location, right next to the slopes and shops/restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here for your next ski trip!

The perfect experience

We stayed at this appartemnt for a family ski trip. The place is perfectly layed out, and very cozy and comfortable. It was well equiped and extra clean. The beds were excellent.The garage was super convenient to store the gear and dry it up overnight (we kept the car on the outside parking lot). But the best part was how welcome our host made us feel, from the time we booked to the time we took off, as well as the perfect communication. We will book for sure the same place for our next trip to Meribel!

Fabulous stay!!!

We stayed in Meribel for skiing over New Years with 6 adults and this apartment did not disappoint. The location is great about a 10min walk to main area of Mottaret, where there are numerous bars, restaurants, two supermarkets and 4 lifts. The apartment is well furnished, decorated, spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are lovely! The communications with the property owner were great throughout. The photos don't really do the apartment justice. Overall, a great stay and we would rent this again next time we are in Meribel.

Great ski base

Compact, comfortable, well equipped chalet, close to all amenities yet private and in a beautiful location. There is an awesome walk around the lake behind the chalet.Free bus to the other villages 3 mins walk, ditto supermarket. Closest restaurants & ski rental 4 mins walk, main village, gondolas and shops 5 mins walk.This is a great base from which to ski and explore the entire 3 Valleys. Francois is a warm and friendly host, he dealt with all our queries immediately and was a mine of information about the area. You can't go wrong booking this chalet. shops

Fabulous

Beautiful, superbly equipped apartment in a fabulous location. Francois the owner is super helpful and a lovely guy.The apartment is equipped with everything you need and tastefully furnished to a really high standard. It has windows on all sides of the living room giving amazing views and a lovely wood burner for feeling cozy in the evenings.It has a heated boot room and ski storage. It's a short walk to the lifts in Motteret that give you instant access to all 3 Valleys. A couple of lovely bars and restaurants are very close by as is a nice little supermarket.Highly highly recommended. We love it so much we are wanting to return next year. We have stayed in many Ski apartments over many years and this was our favourite.

Cosy, modern apartment in Mottaret, close to slopes

We highly recommend this lovely apartment for a family ski holiday in the high-altitude, snow-sure resort of Mottaret (just above Méribel). The apartment is ideally located, being a short 5-minute walk from ski-hire, mini-market and restaurants, with the lifts a few minutes' walk beyond. It is very well-equipped with a good oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee maker etc and a generous dining table. The kitchen utensils and crockery were good too. Our host, François, did everything possible to assist us before and during our stay. His recommendation for a taxi service proved excellent, and we were very touched by his timely calls and messages checking in with us to see if we needed help or advice. We were made to feel like guests staying at at a private home, which was lovely. We hope to return very soon!

Spent a lovely week in this apartment for a late-season family ski holiday (4 adults). Recommended.

Drove down to this lovely apartment in Meribel-Mottaret from the UK, for a week-long late-season ski break.Francois (the owner) was very friendly and extremely helpful throughout. Secure parking, great level of equipment (kitchen/cooking included), comfortable furnishings, good beds, everything you'll want for a great stay.Right in the centre of one of the worlds best ski resorts. Convenient supermarket. Great walks from apartment. Quiet location, but still only a few minutes walk to a range of good bars and restaurants.I would definitely recommend this apartment for up to 4 adults and 2 children, but should just mention a couple of points:This is not a ski in/out apartment. If you're carrying heavy skis and wearing ski boots, the walk to the slopes is pretty tiring. Only mention this because it appears in filtered lists on VRBO as ski in/out. The bunk room is quite small, with just a frosted window onto the public landing. (Other two bedrooms are great!)

Excellent séjour !

Appartement très agréable à l'entrée de la Réserve naturelle du Tueda avec vue superbe sur le Mont Vallon. Propriétaire très accueillant et disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Simplement parfait.

Logement très agréable, joli, bien agencé, bien équipé et très bien situé au calme et à proximité de commerces et des pistes. Très jolie vue. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte, lequel est très sympathique et bienveillant. Ce fût une super semaine d'avril. Au top.

Calme et chic

Nous étions 4 adultes dans ce très bel appartement pour passer nos vacances de février. L’annonce reflète très exactement l’appartement et son environnement. Dernier petit immeuble type chalet d’un ensemble d’environ 5 unités, vous êtes sans vis à vis (sauf la nature) dans un calme absolue. Les 2 terrasses de l’appartement vous permettent d’y déjeuner au soleil ( en février) face au chemin qui mène au lac de Tueda. Vous trouverez toutes les facilités, restaurants, locations de ski, supérette… à 3 mn à pieds de l’appartement. Cet appartement n’est pas ski aux pieds (comptez 3/5 petites minutes pour rejoindre les pistes), mais son calme a compensé pour nous très largement ce critère. Très bonne relation avec le propriétaire qui a été présent en distantiel tout au long de notre réservation et de notre séjour. Appartement est propre et bien agencé, literie et SDB impeccable. Il y a un grand garage pour ski et chaussures (chauffe chaussures intégré). Nous avons beaucoup aimé
