Ideal rental for our family!

Great house, plenty of space and the new exterior upgrades were all well done. We were lacking nothing but enough time to fully take advantage of everything the house and area had to offer. There will definitely be return trips in our future.

Favorite Norris House

This is our 7th year in a row having a combined family trip of roughly 20 people. And this is the 2nd time we've stayed at this home. We always want different homes, but we loved this one so much we had to come back!! By far the best Deck on the lake!!! Perfect layout and space for families!! Absolutely LOVE this home. Best out of the 6 we've tried over the years!

Relaxing Stay

We all enjoyed the week at Norris Lake in this property. A quieter part of the lake, made it more comfortable Large house, with two amazing (large) porches and a two-boat, two-story dock made a great lake experience. Renters were easy to access and very helpful as well.

Excellent for skiers

We had 4 ski boats comfortably docked. Very close to slalom course. The house itself was huge and comfortable with many many amenities, fully stocked kitchen equipment and fun games.

Gaming Vacation

For the last seven years, A large group of us travel to different locations in the Midwest to relax and play Board games. This was our best experience so far. Such a great property! Highly recommended. We hope to return again next year!

Great home

This house has plenty of room & is fully stocked with just about anything you would need. Lots of beds & plenty of seating for meals. The dock is great & the side screened porch very nice as well. We would definitely stay here again. Check in is At 4pm & not a minute earlier.

Great house on Norris Lake

Thank you for allowing us to use your home! My family had a great time at this house on Norris Lake. The house is beautiful with many different areas for relaxing. Two beautiful decks with fireplaces and a screened in porch. It is very well equipped. We had a lot of fun with a shuffleboard table and corn hole. We created many wonderful memories from our week at the lake. Andrea and Brian were great hosts and very responsive.

Absolutely stunning place and a great time

I can't say enough about this property. Andrea and Brian did it right with this place. Whether it was relaxing on the spacious decks or lounging in the back room with fire pit, there was plenty of room for all to hang out and have fun. The kitchen was my favorite and we congregated there the most. Absolutely beautiful and plenty of room. We have been coming for 7 years and this was by far our favorite place. Plan to come back! Early May Lake Trip

My friends and I spent three nights at Barefoot Landing and had a great time. Communication throughout the booking process and stay was easy and effective. Barefoot Landing has a stunning view of the lake from nearly all parts of the property. We most enjoyed the kitchen, deck and dock along with the multiple areas for evening outdoor fires. Our only thoughts of improvement include stocking the house with essential supplies, updating some of the game room items and checking for functionality of the amenities prior to move in. The hot tub was unfortunately down a pump and out of commission for the weekend, though Brian was quick to address our questions and issues. I would certainly recommend this property to friends or families looking for a quiet cove to enjoy.

August Reunion

Our family loved our week-long stay at Barefoot Landing. The location is perfect, on the lake, and the house beautiful, lacking nothing you need. High chair and pack and play for the baby, games and multiple fire pits inside and outside, huge bonus of outdoor commercial fan near outdoor dining on the deck, commercial ice makers were really helpful, private dock with night lights and power is set up perfectly for eating, swimming, fishing and boating. Loved the huge tables so our family could all sit together for eating and games. We spent most of our time outside on the multiple decks and outdoor spaces enjoying the views and each other. Kitchen is great for cooking for large groups along with the gas grill on the screened in porch. Beautiful place and we made some wonderful memories here! Look for the Buffalo or beefalo on the road going to the house.

The perfect house for a large group!

This is a great house for a big group. We had 5 families and there was more than enough space for all of us. The house was clean and spacious with every amenity and lots of hang out places, a beautiful back deck and a great dock. You really couldn’t ask for more from a lake house. We would definitely rent this property again!

Incredible Trip - Great House

I have been going to the lake every summer for 15 years with my family. This trip was a little different, bachelor trip; but it was the best house I have ever stayed in. On the first evening the owners introduced themselves to us, offered advice on what to do and told us to have a great time. The house was in a great location and had all the amenities. Whether you are spending the week or weekend on the lake with family or friends this is the house.

Quaint Winter Getaway

We stayed at the cabin for 5 days! There was 6 adults, 6 teenagers, a two year old and an infant. We all comfortably fit into the cabin! It was clean, no bugs. We used the hot tub a bunch and the three fire places throughout our stay. The kitchen has everything you need. Bring toilet paper, paper towels, large trash bags, and dish soap. We had to make a run after the fact to grab some items which was fine!

Family Christmas at Barefoot

As listed, photos pretty accurate. Everyone had a great time playing games, eating, and trying to fish. No one got a bite but that could be the water was so low. We only had one fish day because some pretty good storms came through. We loved the large tables for game playing, several groups were playing at the same time. The house also has lots of play zones for the children. The garage play area needs a little heat in there, too cold for me to watch the kids playing.
