A perfect fit for our family

The 5-star reviews are NOT too good to be true. From the immaculate accommodations to the well-equipped kitchen to the delightful farm tour, everyone in our 3-family group agree our host and the property made our stay a delight. The rural location was a welcome respite from the sometimes challenging driving conditions in the nearby towns, but it took a bit of planning to assure we picked up the goceries we needed when we decided to cook. A warm thank you to our gracious hosts.

Best Villa in Southern Sicily

We can't say enough about our stay at this property with our host Giorgio and his family. The entire experience was unforgettable. First off the villa is in an ideal location to explore southeast Sicily with the towns of Modica, Scicli, Noto and many beaches close by. The villa itself is well laid out and the outdoor space and kitchen is perfect for lounging by the pool, cooing pizzas and cocktails. Giorgio and his wife, Giovanna were the ultimate hosts, providing us with two outstanding meals from their farm and giving out kids farm tours and tractor rides. Their son, Antonino, guided us to the best restaurants and beaches and even drive us back and forth into Modica one evening while his girlfriend watched the children. It was hospitality at its finest. We cooked many meals at the villa from the produce Giorgio provided us from his garden which was amazing. Overall, I can't say enough about the well appointed villas and the family that looked after us. We will definitely keep in touch with them and hope to return soon.

Tolles Objekt mit kleinen Fehlern

Es ist eine wirklich tolle Anlage mit sehr liebenswerten Vermietern. Das einzige, was gestört hat, waren die Tiergeräusche auf dem Dach von Tauben und Mardern etc., die in den oberen Zimmern so laut waren, dass wir für die Kinder das Schlafquartier im Wohnzimmer aufbauen mussten. Schade! P.S.: Von wem wird die Kaution gezahlt?

Beautiful villa and amazing hosts!

Casa Natia is even better than the pictures! It's clean, modern, and really comfortable. Giorgio and his family were also amazing hosts! They provided a splendid welcome basket for our arrival and made themselves available for any questions, needs, etc. We got a flat tire at one point and the family took us to a friend to have it replaced, waiting a couple of hours to ensure all went well. I would give more than five stars if I could! Thank you for a splendid holiday!

A Real Gem

There is always an element of risk when looking to book a self catering property for a holiday. Opinions vary between excellent and poor but we can say without reserve, that Casa Natia ticks all the right boxes. It was a delight to arrive and greeted with that special Sicilian hospitality from the owners. The property itself is a real gem, located in the south of the island close to various beaches and within easy reach to a number of truly delightful towns. The villa itself is incredibly well equipped and spacious and the only downside was we could only manage 1 week. No hesitation in returning and would unreservedly recommend this property. Beautiful countryside property with amazingly warm and generous owners

The property has been beautifully restored and updated and was a delightful home base for a week in southern Sicily. The owners are extremely welcoming and generous with their time, garden and homemade products. While our weather wasn't perfect (a few uncharacteristic thunderstorms), we made the most of the indoor and outdoor spaces. We would recommend this countryside villa to others in a heartbeat!

Marvellous

Everything was perfect. A warm welcome from the owners, Giorgio & Giovanna who had prepared a delicious supper for us, and provided all we needed for breakfast the next day. The villa is extremely comfortable, with air conditioning which makes such a difference at night. The Baroque towns were easy to reach & we enjoyed the beach at Marina di Modica, & visiting Montalbano country.

Une belle semaine, tout en confort !

Maison impeccable, tant au niveau des finitions, de la propreté et de la disposition des chambres. Equipements nombreux pour la cuisine, climatisation dans toutes les chambres, salles de bain ultra fonctionnelles. La piscine est parfaite ainsi que le coin barbecue. Le jardin très grand, parfait pour un coin d'ombre. La maison est située en plein milieu d'une ferme, ce qui assure le calme attendu pour des vacances. Les villes de Modica et Marina di Modica sont à moins de 20 minutes en voiture. Nous avions choisi cette maison pour parcourir le sud de la Sicile et l'emplacement est parfait ! Bref, nous sommes ravis d'avoir choisi la maison !

What a find! One of the best we have stayed at....we will be back!

Unsure where to start…but to sum it all up, this villa, the owners, the ease of the entire holiday at Casa Natia made our time there absolutely fabulous. The villa is so comfortable, with a perfect blend of old local stone and modern amenities. The garden is large and completely enclosed with a superb pool and lounging area. We have 3 young children who had ‘the best holiday’, spending most of the days in the pool or loving the farm and its animals. But what made the stay so unique was the charm and relentless hospitality of the owners who live nearby on the farm. Giorgio and Giovanna were so kind and welcoming, and their son Francesco could not have been more helpful and hospitable whenever we needed anything. True class! This has been such a find and the pictures don’t do the villa enough justice. I wish all holiday rentals could be such a positive result and enjoyable. We will be back, thank you Francesco, Giorgio and Giovanna for being such wonderful hosts on your farm and fantastic villa….see you soon!

Beautiful villa and lovely location

The property is very well maintained and equipped to a high standard, the villa is close to some lovely beaches and within easy reach of the lovely towns of Ragusa, Scicli and Modica. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and their son Francesco who provided a welcome basket of home produced goodies and local produce. The garden, pool and outside eating area is beautiful and very private. Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and would thoroughly recommend the villa in all aspects and would like to thank the family for their fantastic hospitality including the freshly caught Tuna!.

Fantastico !

Casa Natia is a superb holiday rental and easily caters for a large number of guests (we were 8 people of varying ages). Care and attention has been provided to the decor, the equipment and facilities, and the many spaces that are provided for relaxation. The pool and barbecue were enjoyably used by us. The location of the villa is great for exploring south East Sicily and it is a short trip into Modica. Our family enjoyed the rural location and all that it brings. As other reviewers have indicated the villa is wonderful but the hosts are the icing on the cake. Giorgio, Giovanna and Francesco are all proud Sicilians and are happy to share the joy and bounty of Sicily with their guests. Their generosity to their guests as expressed by other reviewers is all true and then some. Thanks to you all for a truly wonderful Sicilian holiday. All our family absolutely loved it. What an amazing property and incredible hospitality

This is easily one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. The pictures are very accurate, but what is not always easy to tell from photos is the quality of everything. Here everything is five star, from bed linens, towels, furnishings, kitchen equipment. No detail has been left behind. The location is also beautiful, it's hard to tell from the photos but you can see the Mediterranean from here. There is lots of wonderful space around you, including vegetables gardens where you can pick produce for your lunch and farm animals to keep you company as you wander around. The pool and outside areas are perfect for relaxing and for grilling and dining out in the open air. The town of Modica is close by, but we also took day trips to Ragusa Ibla, Noto and Ortygia. The coast is just a short drive away. But to be honest it was hard to tear ourselves away from Casa Natia is was so great. Our hosts were wonderful, Francesco, Georgio and Giovanna couldn't have been more welcoming. To the most amazing welcome basket which included a home-cooked meal, from freshly delivered eggs, cannoli to die for and a tour of their farm. It's hard to see how any other place we visit will ever measure up to our stay here. Just perfect!

A Memorable Stay at Casa Natía

I booked Casa Natía after reading an article about southeastern Sicily's magnificent baroque towns in a Conde Nast magazine. The photos looked great but honestly, we weren't quite sure what the area would be like. We sandwiched our five day stay between Rome and a trip to the Amalfi coast so the relaxing environment at Casa Natía seemed like a good idea. It was in fact, just perfect. It's easy to relax at this well-appointed villa--they have thought of everything. The grounds are covered in soft grass, mature trees and of course, the sparkling pool. The yard is large and there are plenty of covered areas as the sun is quite strong in the afternoon. The property is completely enclosed but surrounded by farmland and charming livestock--cows, rabbits, sheep and donkeys nearby. There are two outdoor eating areas, one by the outdoor grill/kitchen and the other in the big covered patio near the house. The house is roomy and comfortable and the kitchen clean and modern. We cooked two grand meals but spent the rest of the time exploring the nearby towns--Modica, Scicli and Noto were favorites. There were wonderful restaurants and spectacular chocolate (Modica), gelato and granitas. There was plenty of sightseeing to keep us stimulated and the nearby beaches were lovely. There were six of us on the trip--my husband, myself, our two adult daughters, a son-in-law and a boyfriend and we all loved staying at the villa--spacious enough for all of us to be together, yet plenty of private space. I think it could accommodate several more comfortably. Everything was superb but the best part was the hospitality shown by Giorgio, Giavanna and their wonderful son, Francesco. We were greeted with warm Sicilian focaccia when we arrived as well as a basketful of other treats. They gave us a lovely tour of their farm and we were treated to homemade cannoli at their home down the road--unbelievable. We had a spectacular trip to Italy with the family--we loved everywhere we traveled but the most memorable part of the trip for me was our time in Southeastern Sicily and Casa Natía. Most wonderful stay we could have asked for!

Dear all, we all had a very wonderful and an unforgettable time at Casa Natía. We all felt very welcome and we all had so much fun. Our kids never got bored and they always had something to play. We got very spoilt by our lovely host family. We could not have asked for a better warm welcome and hospitality! We were very impressed by the love and passion that was put into the entire house, garden, pool, its decoration and all into all the surroundings. If we not only ask ourselves but also our kids, they are saying that it was the most beautiful holiday they had in a lomg time! And I would say we Need to send out a very huge and big THANK YOU to Giovanna, Giorgio and Francesco! It was lovely to have such a close connection to local people! Fabulous villa

We stayed at this villa to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. We could not have chosen a better location! The villa is beautifully decorated, really spacious (sleeps 9!), the pool area and garden are great and the hosts could not have been lovelier. We were welcomed by Giorgio with very tasty food prepared by his wife Giovanna. The next day Giorgio showed us his animals (the kids loved this) and his house and the surrounding land. very impressive. We got fresh eggs as well as fruit on numerous occasions during our stay and Giorgio gave us a great dinner tip in a nearby town (Scicli). One night Giorgio and his wife cooked for us and we enjoyed this lovely meal at our patio. There are plenty of nice towns/cities to visit is the surrounding area and we enjoyed a great day at the beach. Please note that the villa looks even better in real life than on the pictures! PS: we got lost on our way from the airport to the villa. Please note that you have to enter 'Contrada Nacalino, 1, Modica 97015' in you GPS and NOT Strada Provinciale 43 (this is the name of the provincial road).

Wunderbar!

Wir waren mit Freunden für 11 Tage im Casa Natia. Giorgio und Giovanna haben uns mit feinem Essen und Getränken empfangen. Das Haus ist mit viel liebe zum Details ausgestaltet. Die Einrichtung hat hohen Standard, es fehlt an nichts. Der Pool und der Graten ist grosszügig und alles ist sehr sauber. Jeden Tag gibt es frische Eier und Gemüse vom Garten. Die herzliche und grosszügige Art der Besitzerfamilie rundet alles zu einem wunderbaren und gehaltvollen Aufenthalt ab. Danke für alles liebe Giovanna und lieber Giorgio. Wir kommen wieder! Sehr schön!

Wir waren mit Freunden für 11 Tage im Casa Natia. Die Besitzer, Giovanna und Giorgio sind äusserst nett und hilfreich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Beim Eintreffen wurde wir mit feinem Essen und Getränken empfangen. Täglich gab es Eier und Gemüse vom Bauernhof. Das Haus wird mit sehr viel Liebe zum Details gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist erstklassig. Es fehlt an nichts. Bei Bedarf kann man sich Tips für Ausflüge in die Umgebung bei Giorgio holen. Der Garten und der Pool ist sehr grosszügig. Alles ist sehr sauber und vom hohem Qualitätsstandard. Wir kommen wieder!!! Herzlichen Dank für alles an Giovanna und Giorgio!

Perfect vacation villa!

This villa is a piece of Sicilian paradise! It is carefully and beautifully renovated and fully equipped with everything that is needed for a great vacation. All furniture and equipment is very high quality. The rooms are spacious and clean, the terrasse is amazing and has a great view of sea and countryside. The pool is very nice and clean. Everything is very proper and clean and high standard! The owners are absolutely lovely, so friendly and generous. They provided us with delicious fresh vegetables and eggs and a large basket with necessities. They showed us around and gave us many valuable advice for great spots in the region. We have rented many villas before but this is by far the best we vacation villa we have rented!

C'est une villa exceptionnelle, l'intérieur décoré avec goût et très fonctionnel. Accueil chaleureux

Accueil chaleureux avec produits terroirs, belle villa dans une exploitation agricole avec jardin potager et animaux (vaches, lapins etc....) je recommande vivement cette maison Pas très loin des plages et la ville de Modica à visiter! Vacanza indimenticabile e da ripetere

"Casa Natia" ha superato ogni nostra aspettativa. La casa curata in ogni particolare, rende il soggiorno molto confortevole, il luogo molto tranquillo e la presenza di un fantastico giardino con piscina permette di riposare, ma nello stesso tempo è vicino a spiagge meravigliose e alle " città del barocco siciliano " . Non riesco ad immaginare posto più adeguato per visitare questa zona. L'ospitalità dei proprietari è rara e la bontà dei prodotti della loro azienda agricola altrettanto. Torneremo sicuramente.

Cas Natia is absolutely wonder

Our family of eight just finished spending a week at Casa Natia and we were absolutely delighted with everything! The pictures are just a glimpse of how nice the house actually is. The rooms are spacious, each with a separate AC unit. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space in the rooms to unpack clothes, etc. The kitchen was well equipped including both coffee and espresso machines. There was even an extra refridge in the laundry room. The best part though is the veranda. You can't help but spend the majority of your time outside. looking over the pool and surrounding yard. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out and relax. Never had to worry about bugs...it was just magnificent. The pool was always clean and very refreshing . There is even an outside shower near the pool which was a real treat. There are numerous chaise lounges, along with poolside chairs. We alternated between the sun and pulling the chairs under the olive trees to relax in the shade. We always felt there was plenty of room to either hang out together or find a place on our own to have some quiet time. The location itself was great for heading out on day trips to explore the surrounding towns. We visited a new town almost daily and never had to spend much time in the car to get there. The Sea is just a 15 min car ride. You can't beat that, except for the fact that it's so lovely sitting by the pool, it's hard to get motivated to move. The owners live down the street and couldn't be nicer. They are very hospitable, providing a large welcome basket filled with goodies to eat. We also were given fresh farm eggs which was a total treat, along with some of fresh produce which we thoroughly enjoyed. Don't worry about the lack of reviews. This is their 1st year of renting after completing a full renovation. The 1st guests bought a book for the house for other guests to sign and write comments. All of the previous folks had glowing remarks of praise for the accomodations. There really aren't any improvements that could be made. They have captured it all!
