We would like to address the claims made in the review. Regarding the bed linens, an oversight occurred—the request had been missed. However, this was immediately rectified for the guests, and a refund was issued via Vrbo. The premises had been cleaned and inspected prior to the guests' arrival; the villa was in a perfectly clean condition. At the beginning of their stay, the guests attempted to claim a full refund and alternative accommodation through Vrbo, citing a lack of cleanliness. Vrbo rejected these unfounded demands and disbursed the rental payment to us as usual. Furthermore, the group failed to follow the request to communicate through the specified channel. The group left the premises uncleaned, despite not having ordered a final cleaning service. The main cabin contained a folder with clear cleaning instructions, supplemented by additional guidelines placed throughout the property. Waste had not been removed, even though instructions and a map showing the location of the waste disposal point were provided by the wall of the shelter. There was trash and sand on the floors, the kitchen countertops were dirty, and the front of the microwave was covered in greasy fingerprints. The washing machine’s detergent dispenser contained water, and the dryer’s lint trap was completely clogged with lint and sand—despite cleaning instructions being posted right next to the appliances. The supply of firewood had not been replenished at the main house, the grill shelter, or the sauna. Additionally, the damper for the fireplace in the main house had been left open. Items belonging to the barbecue shelter were found in the wrong place—specifically, in a kitchen drawer. Furthermore, a custom-cut tablecloth for the coffee table in the main cabin was missing after their stay, and this was not reported to us. The barbecue shelter was left in a filthy condition. A large amount of ash had been left in the fire pit; it had blown around and coated the interior surfaces of the shelter, even though an aluminum ash container with a lid is provided. The ash tray (equipped with a handle)—intended to catch hot embers and ash falling from the fire pit—had been incorrectly placed on a lower level. Due to this carelessness, hot embers falling from the fire pit could have easily started a fire. We always strive to keep our villa in top condition, and we expect our guests to follow the house rules.
