Dies ist unser Familienhaus, das wir 2008 komplett renoviert haben. Wir haben beschlossen, es in den Zeiten, die wir nicht in der Lage, es zu genießen mieten. Wenn Sie nach einem Ort in der Nähe der Stadt, die auf einem ruhigen See ist Traverse suchen - dies ist der richtige Ort! Dies ist ein Teil einer kleinen Ferienanlage, die auch ein paar andere Land zu vermieten.

Das gemütliche Ferienhaus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Es wird Bettwäsche für 11 Personen, jedoch ist es wohl am bequemsten für eine Familie von 6. Eine schöne offene Grundriss mit Küche, Essbereich und Wohnzimmer. Es gibt eine sehr große Terrasse, die drei Sitzgelegenheiten zum Essen sowie Adirondack Stühle zum Entspannen bietet. Es gibt auch eine Feuerstelle mit einer Schaukel und Stühlen. Wir haben auch 4 Einzel Kajaks und ein Paddelboot mit 2 Personen, die Ihnen kostenfrei zu verwenden ist. Für diejenigen mit Kindern, haben wir auch ein Kind Kabine, die sie genießen. (Erwachsene können außerdem die oberen Deck, dass auch für eine schöne Aussicht auf den See zu trinken, während Sie Ihren Morgenkaffee.) Bitte beachten Sie, dass es kein Internet oder Klimaanlage. Wir haben Satellitenfernsehen neu ab 2015.
Deck Dock auf dem Wasser (ersetzt das hölzerne Dock auf den Fotos) mit einem großen Bereich für Stühle, auf denen Sie über dem Wasser sitzen können. (Dies ist mit einem Nachbarn geteilt - aber sie nicht vermieten und sind nur gelegentlich auf.)

Es gibt so viele tolle Freizeitangebote in der Traverse City Gegend.

Ganz in der Nähe der Hütte gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten:

- Moomers Ice Cream
- Interlochen

Traverse City ist nur eine kurze Fahrer entfernt und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten der Innenstadt, mehrere Restaurants und Wasser.

Es gibt auch viele nette Städte entlang der Halbinsel sowie Weingüter und Casinos. Sie werden nicht enttäuscht in diesem Bereich!

We had a lovely time! The owners were very responsive to questions and suggestions about fun things to do with our kids! Our boys loved fishing off the dock and even taking a ride in the kayaks. The outdoor space was wonderful and the lake is a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

My wife, our pup and I enjoyed our week long stay at the lake property. We filled our time with kayaking/fishing/paddle boarding on Bass lake, soaking up some sun on the dock & deck and exploring local beaches and downtown T.C. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen and we were able to cook up some great meals during our stay. Beans our pup is not to friendly with other dogs but we found it easy to keep her separated from neighboring pets on the deck and dock. So if your pup is similar it can be managed. I would highly recommend this property for a couple or family to comfortably enjoy their stay in Northern MI.

Our family of four recently enjoyed a week at this adorable cottage on Bass Lake.The cottage is small and cozy but with modern updates, which made our stay comfortable. Beds and linens were very nice, the newly installed internet worked and was fast enough to do any kind of work or watch streaming TV. There is a new mini-split that adds heat or AC in the main room, and there are fans in all the bedrooms for those hotter nights.The deck is large and features a pergola protect your head from the acorns that drop down from the huge oak trees nearby.We enjoyed coffee on the dock each morning, and fished often using a borrowed boat. Bass Lake is nice and quiet compared to the adjacent lakes--fewer jetskis and water sports speedboats. The whole trip was peaceful.We made excellent use of the separate beverage fridge provided.Communication with our host Lisa was fast and responsive. We had one small issue and she was on it right away.The only two things I'd make sure other visitors know ahead of time: there is no washer/dryer onsite, so bring enough clothes. And there is no oven (though we did not miss it at all). There's a microwave, stovetop, and a big toaster oven so you can cook nearly anything.All in all a great trip to a cute and comfy cottage on a beautiful lake, only a few miles from town. We would stay there again!

Cozy cottage by the lake

We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage suit our needs perfectly. Drive to Traverse City wineries and restaurants were 15-25mins. We love the lake view but due to the weather we could not partake in the water activities. We would definitely like to stay again to enjoy the lake.

Great experience overall. Lisa was very responsive and a very good host. Approximate 15 minutes away from downtown Traverse City and about 40 minutes from Torch Lake. I would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Everything you need and more for a great weekend up north

This was the perfect spot for our annual family gathering. We love the area and the cabin and location were amazing. Cabin was stocked full of everything needed for a great stay, kitchen, sunscreen, games, kayaks. Not to mention the beautiful outdoor spaces and views. Truly relaxing and peaceful. And pet friendly. Very nice cabin on Bass Lake. Perfect, quiet location. Convenient to Traverse City, wineries, the Dunes. The lake was wonderful. So nice to have kayaks, paddle boards, grill, fire pit, tons of outdoor seating available. The owners provided so much, it made the stay so much easier and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing! Very quiet & pleasant stay at well equipped cottage

Bass lake was so quiet that you would think you were in Quetico. The loons agreed. The cottage was so well equipped you could fly in and use it. The checkin and owner communications were superb. Enjoyed the kayaks & paddle boards. Would definitely use again.

Calm TC getaway

What a lovely cabin! We loved everything about our stay. The cabin is recently updated and feels very clean and comfortable. It’s close enough to traverse city but still remote enough that you feel relaxed. The dock was lovely to sit on. Our dog loved running around the property and napping on the dock. It definitely feels like someone’s home that is taken care of. We can’t wait to come back.

Nice time at Northern Michigan cottage

The property is very much as advertised... pretty basic small 3 bed rooms with one bath house. Lots of toys for kids and adults, the owners really seemed to make an effort to be communicative and helpful and make the place enjoyable with some nice touches (kids noticed the "fairy houses" in yard for example). It was also nice to be able to access the lake on days we were not out and about.

Great week at the cottage!

My family and I loved this cabin! A very easy and convenient drive to Traverse City. The kayaks and SUP were so fun and my kids loved the sandy beach. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It has just about everything you’d need in the kitchen! My only thing I’d bring to the attention of future renters is there isn’t laundry so pack accordingly and be prepared for sandy kids ☺️ Would definitely recommend this to others and stay again!

Relaxing piece of heaven

Been coming to Traverse City since I was a kid. Never been to Bass lake. Thank you so much for your warm communication and all the conveniences. We paddle boarded and kayaked for the first time and the lake was just so peaceful! We loved the area and the neighbors we met!

Clean, well stocked and great rental cottage...you wont be dissappointed!

This was our second year in a row to rent this property. We loved it just as much the second time around. We have three teenage daughters and they love coming up here. The cottage is very clean and roomy for a smaller cottage. Lots of sleeping room and the huge deck doubles the living space of this nice cottage. They have very nice water toys and the kayaks were a big hit. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much every utensil you would need. The owners are very helpful and answered all of our questions very promptly prior to and even during our stay. This is a very quiet lake and feel like you have you own lake. Traverse City is just a few miles away as is Lake MI. It is hard to describe the quaintness of it all, but it is a great place for a vacation. Highly recommend it.

Perfect family getaway in nature but near Traverse coty

We had a fabulous time. My husband and I and our two teenage daughters plus golden retriever had a great time! Loved being right on Bass Lake. We saw a family of wild turkeys, my husband caught fish, and we explored TC and fishtown and had a cozy family vacation. Winner!!!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the King's cottage. We are a family of four (two kids, ages 5 and 7), plus my sister and her boyfriend. So six in total. The rooms are very tight, but we made it work. The cottage is laid out thoughtfully and everything was well stocked when we arrived. Very nice not having to bring things like softsoap or garbage bags. For us, having access to kayaks every day was a real treat. We spotted loons, all kinds of warblers and songbirds, and a bald eagle. It'd be nice if there were one or two double kayaks (they are all single), but my husband and I each took a kid with us and again, we made it work. The paddle boat was difficult to maneuver but we got some great laughs out of going in circles in the lake. The lake is very shallow and warm, especially by August. The kids loved playing on the beach and we could trust them to play in the water because there were no drop offs or current. However, there is lots of seaweed and, with frequent water snake sightings, we ended up going into TC and using the public beach a couple of times for better swimming (esp for the adults). The deck was absolutely perfect for meals and relaxing. The new grill worked just great. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. The only thing that would have made the stay easier is a washer/dryer, but we used a laundromat 10 minutes away mid-week to get us through. Not a big deal. We made lots of great memories, ate way too many s'mores, and are grateful to have discovered Bass Lake and this cottage!

Kevin has been spending his summers on Bass Lake at his best friend's family cottage since he was young. As a family we have vacationed in the Traverse City many times and have fell in love with the area.

We had an opportunity to buy this small resort with a few other partners and we each renovated the cabins that we chose. It has been enjoyable to watch the place transform into our own little paradise. We love how close it is to Traverse City, yet so quiet and peaceful.

Our cottage is only 2-1/2 hours from our home, so it makes it easy to make a quick weekend getaway trip. We love all the unique things that Traverse City has to offer.
