Langworthy Cottage is a quaint, quiet, modern, open concept one bedroom home. Cottage featuring one bedroom with king size bed. Also features quartz countertops, hardwoods, pull out sofa with queen size mattress, and organization detail that is second to none. Perfect for a couple or small family looking for a great getaway surrounded by beaches, attractions, restaurants and golf. Close to Downtown Westerly, Watch Hill, URI, Foxwoods, URI, Narragansett and Mystic. Easy access to Block Island and Newport.
The cottage has 2 beach cruiser bicycles with helmets available for use with rental. Along with 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach bag with towels, and a a beach pass for access to local beach.
We recently finished construction and continue to work on the landscape.

Lovely cottage

Close to the beach!

Perfect central location. Very quiet and comfortable. Loved the comfortable furniture, super well stocked kitchen and beach inspired decorations ! The pass to Dune’s park was a huge plus!

Karen's place is the best VRBO I've stayed in yet. She provided so many details to assure our comfort. The place is clean, quiet, up-to-date, lovely, and extremely comfortable. The full kitchen is well equipped. There are plenty of pillows and towels, even 2 terry robes. Karen is very easy to communicate with. They live right next door, in case you need anything. If we could give 6 stars, we would!

Beach Vacation 2025

Langworthy cottage is situated in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the rustic RI beach town of Misquamicut. It was the perfect spot for our trip. The cottage is completely outfitted with everything you need including a beach pass and all the necessary beach day accoutrements. The cottage has a designer feel to it and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a large porch for evening relaxation. To top it all off, Karen and Peter are the best hosts you could have. An excellent value and a wonderful location. We highly recommend this cottage for your stay in RI.

A Perfect Week-long Stay

We loved our week at Langworthy Cottage. Our host Karen was lovely and thought of every detail -- cottage was beautifully furnished, had a fully equipped kitchen, super-comfortable bed and shower and a beach pass to a beautiful beach just a few minutes away. We'd come back for sure if in the area again.

Wonderful experience

This is a lovely apartment located about a mile from the beach. Everything you need is provided including a washer and dryer. It’s beautifully appointed and has a small market at the end of the road for anything you may need as well as homemade food and soups.

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. Karen was an amazing host, the place was gorgeous, and spotless! It felt like home for a few days and every detail was met for feeling comfortable. The house is very close to everything in RI - and the beach pass was a great addition to our days! Our 6 year old had a blast! All great things! We hope to stay again soon!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here. The place was beautiful and provided everything we needed! This was my favorite VRBO experience! Westerly is a great little town to visit and our hostess Karen surprised us with a bottle of wine, scones, and coffee… such a sweet surprise !! We’d love to come back if we’re given the opportunity!!

Beautifully payed out cottage close to family beach

The cottage had the perfect layout, appliances and amenities for a couple with a small child. Extra nice touches such as a guest welcome book, freshly cut flowers and locally baked muffins and coffee. Both beds extremely comfortable. Located short drive from Dunes Park Beach, a local family beach and stay included day parking pass - who could ask for more? Close 20 minute drive to Mystic CT and aquarium.

We will stay here over & over again!

They have outdone themselves with this vrbo property. Perfect in every way! Wonderfully decorated, new build. So close to the beach and to shopping and a short proximity to nearby towns for shops or dining. Every detail has been thought of. Karen was sooooo accommodating. Wonderful people and wonderful place to stay. We will be back!

Lovely cottage!

We stayed here as a "home base" for part of a road trip celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The cottage was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. Karen was a thoughtful host who left us several treats to make our celebration special. She met us at the cottage to share info about the house and give us the key, and she made herself available in case we needed anything. We had a wonderful time!

Our Favourite Vacation Cottage

Second year visiting Langworthy Cottage. We love it! A mile from the beach and close to Mystic for nightly dinner reservations. Visited B&B Dockside for breakfast in Westerly and highly recommend it for breakfast! The cottage is adorable and more importantly, immaculate. Karen is very kind and helpful. We'll be back ...
