Verleihen Sie Ihrer Familie einen Urlaub am Meer in diesem ruhigen, entspannenden und charmanten Ferienhaus am Meer. Nizza breiten Strand, auch bei Flut!

Das Haus liegt am westlichen Ende der Insel, wo es weniger überlaufen und viel mehr Privat befindet. Es gibt nur wenig Verkehr auf den Straßen im Gegensatz zu den Hochgeschwindigkeitsverkehr in den Osten.

WALKWAY ZUM STRAND: Es gibt absolut keine Schritte auf dem "Walkway to the Beach" ... das macht es sicherer für die kleinen Kinder und ältere Menschen. Die einzigen Stufen sind die 5 Stufen vom Hauptdeck (überdacht) vom Haus hinunter zum Sonnendeck ... bevor der Gehweg beginnt.
• Maximale Belegung: (8). (Bei nicht mehr als 6 Erwachsenen ... über 18 Jahren).

Es geht nichts über diesen Bereich der Strand auf Holden Beach ... es gibt etwa ein eine halbe Meile Abschnitt über Holden Beach, wo der Strand ist breit und viel Strand (Sand) bei Flut! Alles Osten unseres Strandabschnitt hat eine sehr kleine Sitzecke am Strand bei Flut. Alles Westen dieser langen Strand ist ein sehr langer Spaziergang vom Haus auf den Sand.

We enjoyed the beach house with all its amenities and so much space for the 5 of us. This was our first trip to Holden Beach and this house and we hope to be back for our next family vacation. The house was very clean inside and out. The community area is very laid back and quiet. And the beach itself was clean with very few people visiting. The owner keeps in contact and gives clear instructions for check in and how they would like their home taken care of.

This is our second time staying at this house and it has become our favorite beach destination. It has everything we want for a relaxing and enjoyable week at the beach. It was very clean and organized as before. The location is awesome. Things we love are the covered and private poarch facing the ocean, enclosed garage, fully stocked and large kitchen, very wide beach even at high tide, safe location, not crowded beach, very fast internet, bbq grill. The communication with the owner, Don, was excellent. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

My family and I stayed here from 4/26-5/2, 2026, for my daughter's birthday. First off, this house is on the West end almost at the gated community access, we were expecting a big open beach and unfortunately due to storms unless it is low tide there is absolutely no beach, water is literally up to the dunes with no space to even walk! I know this isn't something that the owner of the property has control over, but it was very disappointing, considering my daughter just wanted to spend her time playing in the sand. But thankfully there is a volleyball net and sand area in the back yard, so she was able to just take her sand toys and play there. As for the house it was very well maintained and undated, with a fully stocked kitchen. It is 2 story with the garage, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the bottom level and up the stairs is the main living area, which is where we spent most of our time, there is also a sunroom with couches and a tv. We loved the big open floor plan and the big porch facing the ocean, but sadly you cannot actually see the waves due to the sand dunes. The owner, who is also the host was very nice and helped us with all our questions. We had noticed the AC not working properly which was not a big deal considering it was not that hot but once we let him know about the issue, he had a repair man out within the hour, which was very impressive. We would most definitely rent this house again considering everything that is included for a very reasonable price.

The property is on the quiet end of the island. The long board walk was very helpful taking our things to the beach. There is more than ample seating for the meals or watching TV. The house was immaculately clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, well-equipped kitchen and in a quiet neighborhood! The property owner was great to work with, fast response and super helpful. The beach was beautiful, a true Island getaway off the grid, surrounded by Island nature. We spent a lot of time sitting on the beautiful deck, with such a peaceful view, while enjoying the sea breeze. The sunrises/sunsets were amazing. I wish I could drink my coffee on that oceanfront porch every morning. Everything was wonderful. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer, but we absolutely plan to come back. Thanks for a wonderful week of family fun and memories!

Spontaneous getaway

Very spacious house. Served all of our needs and we had a wonderful time! Would definitely return! Quiet area, back porch was excellent for rocking and watching the ocean. Walkway was very nice. Appreciated the communication in booking this one last minute.

House and beach were very nice. Property was clean, relatively updated, and we made use of provided beach chairs and toys. Word of caution: We found a couple of grass burrs stuck in the carpet in various rooms. My daughter and I went outside to play volleyball without shoes on and immediately had multiple burrs stuck in our feet. So just a word of warning to wear shoes at all times.

About the owner: Our family has been spending summer vacations on the East Coast since the very early 1900's when our Great Grandfather took my Grandfather as a boy down to the barrier Islands off the Eastern seaboard. Sadly, as much as all the older generations LOVED the shore, they were never able to afford to buy a house there. My Grandfather had the opportunity to 'buy' a lot on an Island for $200 in the early 1900's, but in his own words; 'that was too much money' back then...he couldn't afford it...he grew up in the great depression. We need to remind ourselves that we are a very blessed generation to have been able to finally buy a Beach House. It still took a lot of sacrifices and it is not easy, but we know it brings a lot of joy to a lot of people...not just us. We have a young 'special-needs' boy, and there is no greater feeling than watching his face when he is at the Beach! We are sure this will bring many fond memories to your Children... if you can simply put down the cell phone, computer and remote while you are here and just enjoy being with your family at the Ocean!

Why the Owner Chose Holden Beach, NC, USA:
Our Father loved boating and the Ocean. He wanted to buy a house on the NC Coast and retire there. My parents had visited and traveled the entire East coast over their lifetime. But they fell in love with the North Carolina Coast. They had just started taking trips there to determine which Island they wanted to buy on. Sadly, two weeks later after making his last trip there, he passed away...at the young age of 54. In 2003, after years of just thinking about it, I decided I wanted to purchase a house on the NC Coast...a place where I could re-live a lot of the memories my Father had given us on the coast. I started taking trips to every Island and every town up and down the NC Coast. Upon doing so, there was no question that Holden Beach really caught my eye. 'In my eyes'... it was the most natural, most peaceful, pristine Island of all of them (other than the National Seashore areas which of course you cant build on). There is no commercialism, no condominiums, no signs, no over-building, no crowds...just quiet, natural barrier Island in all its natural beauty. It has pristine beaches with very clean, warm water. When the Realtor gave me the keys to the house for sale before I purchased it, I sat on the Oceanfront deck for over 4 hours before I brought her keys back...I simply didn't want to leave!
The Ocean is fairly shallow and clean. The architecture on the Island is a mix of sandcastles, medium-size houses with very pretty architecture and small, older cottages. There is maritime foliage and a sidewalk/bike path that runs almost the entire length of the Island to take it all in. The beauty of the West end is how quiet it is...very few cars.
Just off the island as you come off the bridge onto the mainland is where the stores are...a very nice Grocery Store (Food Lion), Walgreens Drugstore, Restaurants/Dining of all sorts, Ice cream stands, a water-slide park, miniature golf, gift shops, gas station and more.
