We had a wonderful day. The property is beautiful and fit our needs perfect perfectly. When we arrived, we needed some assistance with some snow removal between the house and the hot tub. The crew that came was friendly and professional. Only downside with some areas were extremely dusty, especially the fireplace cover and end tables.

Beautiful Getaway Home

We had an amazing graduation long weekend with family coming from 4 states. This beautiful house has plenty of room for everyone and the property was clean. Awesome play spaces for kids of all ages. Has everything you need and more - all the comforts of home. If you forget anything there are stores- including Walmart- 20 miles away. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is more magnificant than the pictures show. It is more than we could have imagined. Everything is as pictured and more. The home is large but cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed seeing the deer walk across the driveway. ***The only complaint that I must note is that the sofa in the living room smelled of cat/dog urine. You could also smell it in the cozy kitchen area as well. We sprayed febreze and had scented wax(scentsy) throughout the home. It is just suggested that they be cleaned. Please understand that this would not be a deterrent for our return to the home. We had a beautiful weekend and would love to return.

We look forward to reserving this particular house next year!!! If I had to say 1 negative, it would be that when we booked, we were informed that we had a dock; unfortunately, we pulled our boat 2 1/2 hrs and did not have a dock.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location, and the house fit our family's needs perfectly. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness, however. Many of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty, with food or oil sitting in it. It seemed like the dishes were used and not washed, but just placed back in cupboards. Had to wash all dishes we used, first. The closet floors were dirty, as well. If I could be assured that the house would be cleaned better, I would go back for sure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful, it was fairly clean (a little dusty, the pendant lights over the kitchen counters were dusty). The hot tub was terrible. We were there for the week and were only able to use the hot tub twice, and one time it was only 80....thatā€™s actually pretty cold when itā€™s 40 outside. The company did a good job of trying to fix it. But their trying didnā€™t do much good for 28% at temperature. It is in a great location, a good hike to the lake with stunning views.

A great multi-family getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 6 adults and 7 children at Stone Mountain Vista and it was the PERFECT getaway. The house is extremely child friendly but also gives the parents an opportunity to sit on the front porch with a relaxing cup of coffee. The kitchen is ideal for large groups and while the children ate at the large kitchen table, the adults nibbled on appetizers on the breakfast bar. We loved being able to walk to the park in the community as well. We would 100% choose this house again. Taylor Made was also unbelievably responsive with the small issue of the hot tub and when it didn't work, we were refunded a small amount for the inconvenience. This was a FANTASTIC vacation.

The property was clean and well maintained, but the hot tub had some issues that needed attending during the week. The rental agency was wonderful! I would recommend the property and the rental agency. We had fun at the lake, the neighborhood pool, the mountain activities, the local mini golf courses, and had great meals at Maryland State Brewing Company. We rented a boat from the big boat rental place in town (off 219) and that was an amazing experience.

The amenities and kitchen equipment were amazing. This property is just a short drive from shopping/dining. I would highly recommend this home in either winter or summer. The check in / check out services directly done from the home made it a breeze. The property was very clean and well maintained. Our two interactions with staff pertaining to an issue with the hot tub were handled in a knowledgeable manner. Our family would certainly consider staying here again.

Absolutely the best family vacation we've ever had. Renting the property through Taylor Made was very user friendly, as was checking in/out. Prompt response to any maintaince concerns or questions that we had. We can't say enough how how beautiful and spacious the property was. You could feel the family memories that must have been made in that home and now we have ours to add to it. Will definitely rent again!

Beary happy with the Home

Reviewer Comments: The home was amazing!Immaculate on the inside, and tranquil on the outside.The grounds need a touch of TLC(concerning the weeds coming out the front and back walkways and leaves blown. There are also multiple wasp nest close to the property, and a family member was stung day one, while sitting outside(not sure if that can be addressed). The grill also needed some serious cleaning (as it was filthy). We called maintenance but they did not show for hours so we were forced to clean it, since we needed to cook. Other than that we loved the home! I noticed negative comments about the Jacuzzi, but it was clean, though the lighting in the Jacuzzi does not work.There are definitely bears, as a 600-800 lb. bear walked behind the home twice, and it was amazing to see. We will definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 8 guys staying here for a surprise birthday weekend. The house/location were fantastic. Kendra and the folks at Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations were very professional made the entire booking/check-in process very easy. Only two (very minor) gripes: (1) the house needs a new grill and (2) they need to add bear-proof trash cans close much closer to the property. It was not fun having to load up your car with trash to drive it to a separate location on check-out day. Nevertheless, I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Great location on Wisp Mountain near Lodestone Golf Course. The outdoor lanaii/entertaining area in the back of the home truly stands out. The only concern was the inability of the hot tub to go above 97 degrees and its lights were out. We will be staying here again.

Excellent experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice home in a great setting. Wonderful outdoor areas including outdoor fireplace, hottub and large porch. Superb kitchen. Only drawback is that noise inside transmits greatly into some of the rooms. Not a serious issue but we had infants.

Wished the community pool was working. Had the weather been better, this would have been a real bummer. Convenient location.
