We returned for our third year to the Cape and our second time staying in this unit. It's perfect - the location, the amenities, you name it! The beds are so comfortable, there's all you could need in the kitchen, the unit is clean, it's right near the second pool which is rarely busy, and the list goes on! We would absolutely stay here again on future trips!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Talk about a little piece of heaven, If you are truly wanting to relax, enjoy the beach and chill this is the perfect vacation spot. The condo has every amenity you could need, modern in style décor, very, very clean and spacious. This is actually our second stay in this particular condo and will always stay here. The grounds are quite, clean and groomed nicely. I would rate this property a 10/10. The owners of this property are superb to rent from also:)

Perfect Escape

Our trip was absolutely seamless thanks to the host, Jodi! She was excellent in communicating from the time we booked her unit. The location was fantastic, right next to one of the pools, as well as a short walk to the beach. The home was stocked with everything you could need. It was super clean, you could even smell the freshly washed sheets/linens. There was an ample supply of towels for the family. We love Barrier Dunes and will absolutely come back to this unit! Thank you, Jodi, for sharing your home with us.

Great experience & property

This condo is gorgeous and so is the area. Jodi was so easy to work with from the first moment I contacted her about the property. I had many questions and she was very helpful. The decor in the condo is beautiful and isn't gaudy or overly "beachy." It is located a short walk from the beach and the pool is even closer. The four of us had a wonderful time and we would definitely love to come back. CSB is a wonderful secret and we hope it stays that way. ;)

A great rental for a great week at the beach!

What a great experience we had for our first trip to Cape San Blas! The rental was spot on to what is depicted on the VRBO website. It was clean, beautifully decorated, with a nice contemporary look to it. A TV was located in each room, which the kids thought was awesome, and the king sized bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a while. The condo (more like a town house) was literally a 20 second walk to the nearest pool and tennis courts, and was within a 2 minute walk to the beach-side pool and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Star fish, sand dollars, and hermit crabs were just some of the sea creatures we encountered, which we haven't had the pleasure of experiencing as much when we've vacationed in Destin. And more sea shells than I've ever seen in my life! Barrier Dunes is a nice gated community where everyone was very friendly and had a nice "small community" feel to it. The kids loved riding bikes around the community each evening. It was also great to not have to wake up early to fight over a place to put our stuff up on the beach, with many people leaving their beach gear on the beach the entire week. You never had the feeling that someone was going to move/go through/take your stuff. It was also a nice treat to be able to make a fire on the beach for s'mores. Jodi was very accommodating and was available both on the phone and via email. She was able to give us ideas for things to do and places to eat. We had a great time and will definitely be back to Cape San Blas and this rental property!

All the conveniences

We loved staying at #582672! We loved having the master bedroom on a separate floor from our teenager (and she loved having her own space too), and it was perfect having the laundry room right there with us, next to our bathroom. It made for easy transitioning the day's beachwear to the washing machine when we took our showers. It would have been nice to have more than a roll of toilet paper and one dishwasher pellet to start with, since it poured down rain our first night and we couldn't get to the grocery right away. Other than that, we had every accommodation we needed (including beach chairs, umbrellas and even reading materials for the beach (since I'd forgotten to bring my book)! Jody was responsive and as nice as she could be. We would definitely return to this spot! Thank you!

Fantastic Stay on Cape San Blas!

Fantastic experience at Jodi’s condo! The unit is clean, beautifully decorated and a short walk to the beach. Jodi was a great host and extremely responsive throughout the process. From the beach to the two pools, everything in this gated community was first class. We will definitely be back.

Great property

This property was amazing. Jodi is a super host who promptly answered any questions or concerns we had. Loved the decor of the property very tastefully decorated. Relaxing and Comfortable

The condo was nicely furnished, kitchen was well supplied and location in community was quiet and accessible to the beach. Cape San Blas is a perfect spot to completely get away and relax- beautiful, quiet beach and location. Vacationers were young families, families with teenagers, a few couples and empty nesters like us, The common variable is people wanting to enjoy the beach and solitude.
