Stay was Great!

Overallstay was great! The place had everything needed plus some extras amenities. Host was friendly and professional. Location had plenty food places and retail shops.

Excellent location

This was the perfect location for us! Very close to the freeway, beach, stores and restaurants! The condo is very cozy and has everything you need. The kitchen is well appointed as well as the rest of the home. The host is extremely responsive, although there really wasn’t much that we needed them for. But when we did, they were very quick to respond.

Beautifully appointed, clean -- and a great location

It has an amazing location, a short drive from the beach, convenient to shopping and the freeway, one exit past the race track/Fairgrounds. (If you're here for a horse show at Showpark, that's the same exit as the Fairgrounds, and this condo is just one exit to the north. The Hilton is closer, but an equal amount of space there will hit your pocketbook worse than your show expenses.) With two very nice bedrooms, the beds are comfortable and the baths are immaculate. Everything works beautifully in the handsome, well-appointed kitchen. A private patio gives you a great place to set those swimsuits out to dry. We did enjoy the nice-size, new TV sets in every room. The condo complex is in a fashionable area, and the parking was ideal. This is where most people want to spend a San Diego area vacation. We enjoyed it. So why not give it five stars? Four chairs at the dining table in an apartment which can house six people. And if you have a couple of guests over, you're totally out of seating. That said, we remedied the problem by moving dinner to the nearby pool area. Problem solved.

Safe and quiet neighborhood.

We stayed at Donna’s home while transitioning to San Diego. She was a wonderful host. The location is perfect. Many evenings we drove a few minutes down the street to watch the sunset. Great memories were made.

Great location, nice decor, well supplied with towels/sheets/ kitchen

We enjoyed our visit very much. The community is quiet and having a single level 2 bedroom worked perfectly. More importantly Donna Groves responds to communication very swiftly and provided perfect instructions for entry and use prior to our arrival. Enjoyed having Vons and 24 hour across the street from condo community. Thank you, Donna for allowing us to stay in your wonderful place.

Good location, fairly quiet complex, but poorly ventilated condo

With no ceiling fans, air vents in the bathrooms, and only a window unit air conditioner, this condo was stuffy. Using the dryer made it even worse because it is not vented to the outside, so hot air is coming back into the condo. Some simple amenities that could have improved our stay include: extra toilet paper, hand soap in the bathrooms, dish soap in the kitchen, and washcloths and towels in the kitchen. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty when we arrived. The only kitchen towel was dirty. I had to provide my own kitchen towels and wash cloths, dish soap, toilet paper and trash bags. There were only 4 bowls provided and no dish soap. Simple things can sometimes make a big difference. The location was great and other than some noisy dogs, it was a quiet complex.

Well not sure why they are saying not enough ventilation. There is a window in each room. Kitchen has one , there is a double window in dining room, slider in living room with sliding screen to patio to keep open. Double window in first bedroom, 2 double windows in master bedroom. Front door can remain open since it has a screen. Ceiling fans we are adding this year. Both Bathrooms carry 4 toliet paper rolls per bathroom. If staying for 4 days that should of been enough for their stay if they were at the max of 6 people. We leave more based on clients duration. Air conditioner is movable so could go anywhere in the condo and we will be adding another one so good suggestion. We have a reputable well known professional cleaning crew so not sure if or why they would leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Dishes are based on 6 people staying at the condo. All amenities are there for cleaning dishes and dishwasher along with trash bags. Plenty of dish towels so maybe they did not look in the drawer for extra ones. Another good suggestion is adding more dishes. We are adding them today. We always are available 24 hrs a day so not sure why they did not call our cell if they couldn't find anything. See our other comments from previous renters. All of them are great responses and everyone loved their stay.

Fabulous Beach Condo!

The condo was beautiful, well kept, & felt like a home to us. Location, location, location! Close to everything. Beaches, shopping, restaurants, you name it. We would definitely rent again.

AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL!!

The condo is beautiful and looks just like the pictures! The complex is very quiet and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, drinking coffee, to wake up in the morning. We are looking forward to another stay in the future.
