Yes, we celebrated 34 years of marriage and yes, it was over the 4th of July. But this incredibly well located and wonderfully appointed apartment would have made a simply dreamy stay at almost any other time of the year!
Centered on the Seaside beach, this lovely hideaway offered a splendid view of the ever-changing surf conditions, beach activities, and of course - the west-coast-famous fireworks show! The deck overlooks the 1.5mi long promenade, so we regularly strolled, biked and jogged along this circa 1920's route.
In fact, we hardly ever used our car (with dedicated parking spots) - easily walking to amazing coffee (Controversial or Seaside Coffee Roasters), wonderful restaurant options (Nonni's Bistro, Mas Savory, Grizzly Tuna), live-music and drinks (Seaside Brewing Co, Bistro Restaurant & Bar).
Want to take a break from activities, mother nature or the nightlife? This wonderfully appointed apartment has everything you need for a small family from beach towels, laundry and kitchenware - to books, games and puzzles. And once tired from all the strolling, beach activities or people-watching with the amazing view from the porch, you can unwind in the master bath jacuzzi!
Lastly, Lisa was a tremendously responsive host, helping us with any question we had, and making checkout a breeze! Thank you Lisa, Madi and Sharon for making this one of the most memorable vacations we've had in years!
