Great Family Spot!

Exactly as advertised, perfect size for a group of 8. Fun game room for the kids, loved the hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountains, and a short walk to the pool and mini golf for the kids as well!

Good cabin

We loved the cabin, good amenities, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub definitely needs upgrading, but the game room was a nice addition. We would likely stay here again, especially if the hot tub was replaced.

We’ve done a number of VRBO vacation rentals before and this was by far the best. The cabin, location and experience was better than I expected! Nothing to even remotely bring up as a potential negative. Great trip, will definitely consider again!

Great location

This cabin was perfect for our family and loved that it was pet friendly. Less than a 10 min trip to area shopping malls and restaurants. Our only complaint was the beds. We love a firmer mattress and these were very soft and uncomfortable.Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Surprise 50th Birthday Weekend

This property was great for a surprise birthday weekend! The location is close enough to the parkway to enjoy all the shopping and restaurants yet far enough away to enjoy the mountain feel. The cabin itself was perfect for our family and dogs. The property managers were very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. All of the games in the loft are an added benefit in addition to the sauna. I would stay here again!

Amazing!!!

Our experience was amazing! We were a little disappointed when we bought a bunch of meat to cook on our grill and came back to the cabin, realizing we had no propane for the grill. We contacted management and it was refilled the next day. Overall our stay was amazing with the hot tub, game room, and all of the attractions near by to see. Definitely worth the stay!!!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was wonderful! I will say, cell service is spotty but the landline in the cabin was helpful! In addition to the cabin being clean and exactly as described, the staff went above and beyond to locate my son's switch that he left there. We didn't even realize it was gone until 10 days after we left, and when I reached out to the staff they located it and shipped it back to me. They truly went above and beyond! Great location if you want easy access to pigeon forge as well. This cabin was great for two families, and had a great layout for the kids.

Christmas Family Vacation

3 night stay for annual Christmas family vacation. Location was great. Have stayed in bear crossing before. Love the gated community for security. Cabin was good. Could use a little more Christmas decor. The decorations were lacking compared to other surrounding cabins. Cabin had all the amenities needed. TV in living room is in desperate need of replacing. I know tv isn’t that important on vacation but morning and evening sitting around with family and daughter, would have been nice to actually see the screen when watching Christmas movies. All in all good trip. Woukd stay again.

Family Mountain Getaway Success

This property was great for our needs! We brought our 2 little girls (both under 3), and golden retriever for a few nights. Nice community, although can get a bit loud at night as houses are close together. Porch was awesome, as it was closed in all around. Hot Tub was awesome - we had read a few reviews it didn't work for guests - but we had no problem. Direct TV was was awesome...internet a bit slow but who cares, you are relaxing away from it all. House is ideal for a small family who needs two rooms. Kitchen is basic, upstairs loft is perfect for young kids who want some independence. Overall the property is a short 10 min drive from Pigeon Forge, and an easy 25 min from Gatlinburg. Nice to have the putt putt and pool on site for activities as well. Highly recommend you book for your next vacation =)

Very unprofessional don't have a wedding here

Finally had to get mgr. involved after we had to wait an he to get in room. The night before our last day they locked us out of our cabin the the cold 20 degrees in the dark. They made us walk through mud for a wedding. They should have laid runners down. Never stay there again. Very unwelcoming

We of course cannot guarantee an early check-in but in your instance our records show that our Guest Relations Manager contacted your party and checked you in early at 3:09P.M. Our outside vendor reports, and internal phone call logs have verified that there were no key code changes or disruptions that would have interrupted your stay, and there are no call recordings from you to inform us that the key code was not working. It appears that whatever issues you were having must have rectified themselves since we have no calls or record of you needing a replacement door code. We were thrilled that we were able to facilitate the uniqueness and charm that an outdoor wedding in the Smoky Mountains can provide. While unfortunately we are unable to control the weather, our maintenance staff did in fact provide carpeted runners that covered the small area of mud that led to the covered bridge where the ceremony was held. We are sorry that you did not fully enjoy your stay. Our team welcomes all guest to come and visit us and experience all of the charm that only the Smoky Mountains can provide.

Clean Cabin, Loud Neighborhood, Slow Internet

The house was very clean. Plenty of towels and seating. The house itself was great. But the location was not great. As someone else mentioned, the cabin is in a "cabin neighborhood" and even though we were there during the slow time of the year, you would have thought we were at Panama City Beach during spring break. Lots of parties from multiple cabins in all directions. It doesn't help that there is a large cabin across the road that had 14 cars and about 40 people staying there. I went there to work, but the free internet they provide was slow at only 2Mbs. No streaming or smart TV's. You get some Verizon service. This could be great if you want your kids to unplug for a while. Again, the cabin was clean. So if the other stuff doesn't concern you, give it a shot.

It saddens us to hear about the noise disturbance. We are sorry that your neighbors were so disrespectful. Typically most guests are courteous of their neighbors. In the future if you ever have an issue with noisy neighbors we would encourage you to call the police. While we cannot do anything to address other cabin rental company guests the police authority is far greater than any management company is in these types of situations. Wifi is a challenge here in the mountains and is slower than what most of our guests are used to at home. We are truly sorry for any inconveniences you experienced and look forward to seeing you again soon for a far more peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Cabin pros-cons

The cabin was nice and clean but the dishwasher didn’t properly wash (it wasn’t releasing the soap like it’s supposed to), the hot tub didn’t work for 2 out of the 3 days we were there, the sauna had no lights in it so it couldn’t be used after dark, it’s a good family cabin but had some issues that need to be fixed. I called the office 3 times only to receive 1 call back and still not get the info to fix the hot tub till 8am the next morning which was our checkout day because “a ticket had to be put in” and check out time is at 10 so we didn’t get to use it.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental experience was a B-. The unit was mostly clean although we found some dirty socks in the couch cushions. Also, there is black mold growing behind the toilet in the master bathroom. There was no propane in the tank to use with the gas grill which we found out after we bought and prepared food to grill. Most frustrating was when we had to leave the pool with no notice on Saturday afternoon because of a wedding occurring on the lawn. Getting kids ready and getting down to the pool is no small feat. Please let guests know with plenty of notice of these events which are planned far in advance. On a positive note, the furniture was great, the game room upstairs was awesome!

HORRIBLE HOUSE AND EXPERIENCE

This was the 97th house we have rented worldwide and the worst. No one should have to experience what we did. There were 17 big things wrong and I am glad to share the list if wanted. They had a 2 month warning that the living rm TV was bad and did nothing. We requested it be fixed before we arrived and nothing. The biggest problem was NO INSTRUCTION or welcome book, the fireplace didn't work, the water was shut off to the refrieg and ice maker, the furnace wasn't calibrated - set to 72 degrees and woke up at 80 degrees. Called 7 times for help to a call center and talked with 7 different people. 18 1/2 hrs later, help came. He pulled the refrieg out and the water had been shut off, the tv was beyond hope, he searched for 10 minutes to get the fireplace on, each room tv had been shut off manually, the guest bed was so broken on one side, you slid off the bed and had to put towels under it, we all woke up sweating in the heat gone amok, outside light was burned out had to use flashlight to punch in the numbers. Eden tried to replace the house that didn't meet our requirements of 2 kings, 2 baths, and NO STEPS. They offered us one with a king, a queen and 20 steps. We finally had to pack up and move to a Hampton Inn. Keep in mind we are seniors in our 80's and were there to celebrate A 64th anniversary. This was an absolute nightmare and we hope to keep someone else from experiencing this. We spent one whole day waiting for help, packing up and finding a motel. HORRIBLE
