Cleanliness issues

Upon arrival, our dog quickly found a previous guest’s dog’s feces under the coffee table. We had to remove the area rug and place outside. The hardwood floors smelled terrible, as did the entire cabin. The shower head pressure was like pins and needles-our kids could not take a normal shower. The towels were old and stained.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is cozy and a perfect place to rest and relax. Loved that you feel hidden but yet close to everything! The owner is very responsive to any needs!

Cabin was great. Very clean , comfortable loved the fireplace, the pool table, the arcade, games, ,hot tub, and the back porch with the view.. convenient to Dollywood and to the parkway.

Spring Break Getaway

The Cabin was perfect for our family get-away! Clean, comfy, pretty view, and close to all the activities we wanted to do! Host was super communicative and we loved being able to bring our dog along for the fun! Highly recommend!

Clean, short of expectations

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO, but there were a few drawbacks. While the space was generally comfortable, we were disappointed to find that the pool table was broken during our stay. Additionally, the kitchen was lacking some essential utensils, forcing us to go out and purchase pans and knives. Despite these issues, we still had a pleasant time overall and appreciated the location.

Nice, quiet property. Great location. Pool was closed the week we stayed. Very strong water pressure in the downstairs shower. Mattresses could be replaced. They are sunk in with humps in the middle.

Deferred maintenance on property

Both beds were so old, lumpy and sunk in. The toliet seat down stairs was scratched from a dog and broken so it slipped to the side. Bathroom toilet upstairs had stains and was peeling. The ceiling fans need balanced and blades tightened we had to turn them off at night they were so loud. My son left a day earlier than my husband and grandson so we tried sleeping upstairs hoping the bed would be better. It was not. My grandson got up at 4 am to sleep on the couch it was so hot and uncomfortable that he fell on the stairs. We packed up and waited for sunrise while we were taking care of our grandson. Took him to the doctors next morning and he had broken his foot in 2 places. The bed downstairs has a foot board that sticks out too far and both my husband and I have bruises from running into it. Bit of advice: you want top dollar for your rental provide decent mattress and clean toilet seats. Those two things are safety and comfort issues. I would suggest a serious maintenance check on your property.

Family Getaway Down the street from Dollywood

It was so convenient to be 5 min from Dollywood, 10 min from all the attractions in Gatlinburg yet you still feel like you are staying in the mountains in a very comfy cabin. The video games, pool table and hot tub kept kids busy. Having two bathrooms is a plus.

BEAUTIFUL CABIN

Perfect cabin for our family. Very close to Dollywood and all the towns near by. Comfy and cute. Had all the things we needed. And loved waking up to the sunrise coming in through the large cabin window. Jacuzzi was the best! Best vacation ever!!

Perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay here; however there were some minor things to address regarding the cabin, itself. Many pros, including: The location was convenient to everything we wanted to see and do; pet friendly; cleanliness; space for everyone in our group; washer/dryer; hot tub was clean and ready for use; Arcade console. Cons: no bath mats or floor towels for the bathrooms; no real “mountain view”; rickety bed on main level; pool table swayed and the legs were bowed. Again, we enjoyed our stay and the space was nice and clean. Just a few minor details to note for future guests!

Wonderful Cabin!

Romantic Getaway is an amazing cabin. Tom, the owner, is wonderful to work with and very professional. The cabin has a hot tub on the back deck, a HUGE whirlpool bath upstairs, king beds in both bedrooms, a pool table, an arcade game with over 400 games, large TV's in every room and a very nice location with all paved roads. The cabin was extremely clean with nice furniture and beautiful decor. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Pigeon Forge.

Great little Cabin

We stayed 4 nights. Everyone had a great time. The only negative thing we encountered was sporadic internet service. Definitely not the owner’s fault but it was a little aggravating. My daughter had a couple of virtual classes and had to use her phone for service. Not the end of the world but it was annoying. Great cabin and location!!

WONDERFUL!!

We LOVED the cabin. The description was 💯 correct! We WILL book again!The property owner communicated everything with us well. Our dog was allowed for a small fee which is wonderful! He kenneled him when we were out and about. (Someone previously was disrespectful to the property with lack of responsibility for their pets as there were a few scratches which is why people don’t like to rent to pet owners).

Birthday Week Getaway

This property needs some tender loving care from new mattresses to toilet seats. The pool table needs to be leveled and the kitchen needs some pots pans some decent flatware and dishes. Other than that the cabin was great. This review may seem harsh to some, but all four of us are older adults who came to the mountains to relax have some fun play games and shoot pool. Wanting to sit a out on the deck enjoy the fresh air and views however only two deck chairs, had to use folding chairs from inside. This property would be great for a family just wanting a cabin to stay in while visiting Dollywood.

The hot tub water was not clean it had a odor. The stove look like it was clean with a dirty rag. there was four of us and we only had 5 towels had to wash them often. the home is not stocked like all the others we have rented. would have been a great place other then the things I said.

Wouldn’t call it a “resort”

To start, the cabin itself was great With the exception of the fire place not working. Very nice and close to things. Our problem was mainly with the rest of the property. There was an overwhelming smell of sewage the entire time we were there. It seemed to increase each day. The roads were rough, the “security” gate was unmanned and never closed, the pool was not heated, and you could hear all your neighbors at ALL hours. The cabins are in there pretty tight. Ultimately we wouldn’t go back, again not because of the cabin itself.

Hot Tub Water is not Maintained

Hot tub was slimy and smelled of mold. Owner sent someone to clean. They quickly wiped away some dirt and refilled…told us to let it run. When we tried it again it was still filthy. Owner states the resorts water is bad and nothing can be done. I disagree. It may be more difficult and costly, however if the chemicals and cleanliness is properly maintained it wouldn’t be a problem. I asked for a credit but they would only give it if I promised no bad review. I reluctantly agreed but the deadline has past…and no credit received. Be aware they own several rentals in this resort. Be aware that just because you see all good reviews it may be due to them giving credits for no bad reviews. Cheaper than paying to keep hot tub maintained. Other than the hot tub, the towels left are old. All else was fine.

Always hated driving for 5 miles are more miles just to do what i wonted to do . Also no steep curvy mountain roads to travel..
