The place was perfect. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main Tamarindo Beach. The unit is well laid out, and air conditioning worked well. The porch was great to sit on to just listen to the ocean. The managers were super responsive when problem(s) emerged. Definitely recommend.

The AC worked well. The pool was shady until midday which was very nice. Sometimes monkeys would be around which is always fun. Easy access through locked gate to the shoreline. Excellent sunsets! Visible from porch. Fragile ecosystem so always important to conserve water usage.

We encountered some problems to begin with. The ac in one bedroom didn’t seem to be cooling properly and there were problems with the safe working off and on. The staff addressed these problems in a timely manner. We were a bit disappointed that the beach was too rocky for swimming near our condo. Grounds were clean and well maintained. The pool was small, but very nice. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets , the sound of the waves, and getting to see howler monkeys nearby. Another plus was the wonderful Italian restaurant right across the street.

Thank you for the great 5-star review of your stay at Villas Langosta 5. This cozy 2 BDR ocean view condo is located in Playa Langosta and part of a gated community situated 1 mile from the town of Tamarindo. Everything about the property is relaxing, but the best of all is the location on the first row from the beach and the sound of the waves as your daily background. The unit is comfortable and fully equipped for 4 people with the option of a sleeper sofa for a maximum of 6 guests. The complex has free parking, security at night, direct access ot the beach and a shared pool.

Thank you for the great review about the Villas Langosta 5 condominium. Located right in front of the beach and part of a small gated community, the unit has the perfect view to enjoy. You can easily walk on the beach and around the block in the early mornings and late afternoons and enjoy the local fauna and flora. The condo has 2 BDR's, great for families or two couples, a full kitchen, a/c, a washer, and a dryer to make vacations easy and relaxing. Janel, come back and stay with us again soon! Pura vida!

Thank you for staying at Villas Langosta 5. Villas Langosta is one of the few true beachfront condo complexes in Playa Langosta, and unit 5 is a real ocean view apartment. The balcony becomes the best part of this property, where you can enjoy the sound of the waves as your daily background. Cozy and fully equipped for up to 6 people, it is a great unit for families and couples. The complex is quiet, surrounded by nature, and has a gate with direct access to the beach. You have free parking on site, too. Our office and concierge are open 7 days a week, happy and ready to assist with questions and reports. Wifi can fail, and we always send the maintenance team to fix it. Unless. If the issue comes from the provider itself, we will schedule a technician to visit. Same with any other reports. Equipment can always stop working and we will always take action to fix it as soon as we get the report from guests. Thanks for your stay. We look forward to hosting you again!

Amazing!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location to the beach to explore and swim was perfect. The kids loved being able to walk a few steps and be on the beach! The area was very quiet with close proximity to the town. The pizza place and Indian restaurant that are just across the street were both excellent! I’m so glad we chose to stay here for our first time to Costa Rica!

Excellent location, good detailed email explaining checkin process. Thanks he only issues which we faced was also managed within a day -AC wasn’t running in kids room. The only issue which Mrs faced was very less cutleries in the kitchen. Especially when cooking pans etc.

Villa Longosta, great spot!

Great location, close enough to Tamarindo downtown but a bit away to be quiet. The unit is clean and as described. Everything we needed was available. The grounds are secure and well taken care of. The access to the beach is great and the view is amazing. Sitting on the balcony in the morning and at the end of the day was a great way to start and end the day.

Thank you for the great review Dennis. Villas Langosta is part of Langosta, a residential part of Tamarindo which is only a mile from the property. Tamarindo has all the town amenities needed and Langsota is a quiet area with only condos and a few restaurants. You can enjoy the beach and beautiful walks around the block to enjoy the local fauna. There is aso a small grocery store here in Langosta. This unit, condo 5, is perfectly located in front of the beach with one of the nicest views to enjoy breakfasts in the morning and all the beautiful sunsets of the Pacific. The condo is fully equipped. It has good space for a family with kids or two couples.

Great Location

We loved the unit. The location and view were amazing! The caretakers and managers are responsive and fantastic. If you are looking for luxury accommodations, this is probably not the unit for you. Could use some updating, some touch-up paint, and better mattresses, but we loved it!!

Great location, view of ocean, easy walk to store and town

This condo is well represented online. Looks like the photos and the staff at the property were always around, day or night, if needed. We enjoyed the quiet, private, (and gated) surroundings and the condo property is landscaped beautifully. We would stay here again. One suggestion would be to add a kettle to use in the kitchen for us tea drinkers. One other note - there is a bright light that shines all night by the beach gate (my guess is for security), that does shine directly into the block glass window in master bedroom (no window covering for that spot). We never addressed it, as it did not disrupt our sleep, but if light bothers you, bring an eye mask. Communication with the property managers was easy and they offered to help with anything we asked. We recommend this place - a great stay!

Thank you for the 5-star review. Villas Langosta is a quiet beachfront gate complex with direct access to the beach, a shared pool, free parking, and very nice grounds. Unit 5 is a unit on the second floor with a balcony and a fantastic view. Perfect to have breakfast in the morning or enjoy the sunsets! We are also located across the street from the property so always available and happy to respond any questions you have or send our staff when needed.

We had an excellent overall experience in this VRBO. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet, private, restful, right on the beach, well appointed with great host support for rare challenges. Pros (there are many)- Costa Ricans — they are a lovely people and provided excellent prompt and professional hosting support.- The accommodations: - larger than the photos suggest. - The proximity to the beach! (Stones throw from the balcony). - small gated community in which you are the only renter among perhaps 8 condos. Very safe. Though CR is pretty darn safe. - location: the location is amazing… if we you want people turn right on the beach and head towards Playa Tamarindo - if you want a beautiful near empty beach then just turn left in to the protected lands (check your tides for crossing the estuary — LOW Tide!!) - IT COMES WITH BOOGIE BOARDS!! My wife and I were young again! So much fun! - The washer and drier are a real plus - The beds are firm and good quality - The AC is excellent, though with the amazing sound of the waves so close you’ll want your patio door open. The Hosts: RPM was great start to finish and we will seek them out again when renting in CR. We were the first since rainy season and a couple of mechanical items were acting up. They were in within hours… - fast wifi (40Mbs out on the porch is awesome)The Neighbours are lovely and great sources of information. 273 restaurants. Lots within walking distance.
The pool area and walkways are very well lit
The pool was the perfect temperature and clean. Caretaker is excellent
You’ll end up with dozens of sunset pics. Straight out of the complex is the best.
I was trying to catch the sunset you see every day. The view is between a large gap in the trees… but go down to the beach!! Every day!! And sit. It’s a CR thing!

Thank you for this fantastic review. We are very happy you had a great time and enjoyed everything about the unit, its location, and the local area and people. Villas Langosta is a small gated community in Playa Langosta right in front of the beach, with direct access to it. Very safe, quiet, and with a nice community around, this is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing times with the sound of the waves from your balcony. The unit is fully equipped and very comfortable for families and friends.

Lovely beachfront condo in quaint neighborhood

This lovely condo has so many wonderful features: beach front, gated community, beautiful grounds, friendly cleaning and maintenance crew, pool, well equipped bath and kitchen, all in the quiet neighborhood of Langosta. This property is within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and of course the beach! While the beachfront immediately in front of the unit is rocky, a very short walk down the beach opens up a surprisingly different beach experience, with waves large enough to surf or just wade in to enjoy the luxurious warm Pacific waters. The concierge German was very helpful before we arrived and during our stay. He was there to assist us with anything we needed, from restaurant recommendations, golf cart rental, chef services, excursions, and taxi/airport transfers. The condo has a nice large family gathering space inside, an open kitchen, full washer/dryer, and our favorite feature- the beach view terrace! There was interesting wildlife to view on the property, including iguanas, monkeys, and birds. We had an amazing experience in the Tamarindo area, and staying in this condo with all the amenities it provided was a large part of that. I highly recommend this property, and hope to come back soon!

Holley, thank you for the 5-star review. We are glad you had a fantastic stay at Villas Langosta. This is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing vacations. The property is right in front of the Langosta Beach. The balcony overlooks the beach and you will enjoy having breakfast with the sound of the waves, and the beautiful sunsets everyday. The unit is cozy and comfortable for families and friends and comes fully equipped. The beach in Langosta is volcanic so better to enjoy beautiful walks but you can also enjoy swimming in the little natural pools by the river mouth or just go to Tamairndo where the beach is sandy and flat. We hope you can come back and stay with us again soon! Pura vida!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfectly situated to view the beautiful Costa Rican sunsets! It was quiet except for the sound of the ocean. It was so nice to be just steps from the ocean and have a little grocery store a few blocks away! We walked to dinner most nights - once to the restaurant across the street which was delicious and other nights into Tamarindo. I would definitely recommend this space!
