Quiet location, clean, onlocation with free security parking, convenient location close to everything, and all we needed for our 4 day stay before going on a 7 day islands cruise. We were pleased and this particular place had 1 king and 1 queen bed plus a pull out so there would be plenty of room for a family. Loved the evening lights and could not have been pleased anymore than we were. Thank you for making it a vacation to remember.

Property was nice. Location was perfect. Negatives - dishes were put back dirty. Maid service prior to check in was sub par. Bottom of our feet were dirty from walking on the floor. Need more ice trays. There are no sun block blinds on the windows. I found that weird. City lights came right through the window treatments. Positives - location location location. Beds had good mattresses. Views are awesome. I would stay here again if turnover maid service is improved.

Convenient location, but could use a few tweaks.

Overall the condo was perfect for our stay (3 person). However, there needs to be some minor changes to make it more conducive for longer stays (a week or more) First, there needs to be room darkening curtains. The sun in the morning, the city lights at night, lit up the rooms all the time. Second, the dining table and coffee table are simply too large for the space and it makes using the living room bed a nightmare. Finally, there is NO SPACE to put your suitcases. In my opinion you do not need two tvs in this small of a condo, the stand in the bedroom would be better used if it were a dresser and please install a wall coat rack where you have the empty entryway cupboard. We had rain several days of our stay and we had no place to hang our wet rain jackets and beach towels, where they would dry out, other than the bathroom and we already had our bath towels hanging. We had friends who stayed in a condo just down the hall. They had a dresser in the bedroom, their living area was flipped with the couch back towards the bedroom and another dresser used as a sofa table behind it. They had a lot of clothes storage for their stay (a much better use of space). Their dining table was much smaller (still room for 6) and a much smaller coffee table which made the space seem much larger. We did appreciate the King sized bed and all the extra towels that were available to use. The kitchen is well appointed, although please consider a full size coffee pot. We also appreciated the snorkel gear, body boards, trolley, beach umbrella, beach chairs, and beach mats, that are available for our use vs checking out through the building. Finally, the included parking pass is a huge bonus and so convenient! I know other reviewers have mentioned the furniture size and placement. I would definitely give a 5 star review if the suggested changes were made to make the condo more user friendly. I can't imagine if more than 2 adults and a couple children tried to stay here. You can't use the sofa bed and have any room to walk around with the other large pieces of furniture and no clothes storage.

We are considering removing some furniture to provide room for bags, etc... It is always a challenge to provide sufficient storage, furniture, and room for guests. The location of the Banyan provides a great place for families wanting to be near the beach and a safe place to enjoy Honolulu vacation...

Found this property to have everything it said. More than enough room for all 4 of us, all adults. The one and only downfall is not enough storage for luggage. Short walk to the main tourist area and beach. We would stay here again. Wonderful vacation.

Wonderful Waikiki

This property was just as described. The view of the ocean during the day was wonderful and the view of the city at night unexpectedly beautiful. There were some minor problems. The condensation from the air conditioning unit flowed onto the lanai so that it was difficult to use without getting our feet wet. We put one of the beach towels in front of the sliding glass door to take care of slipping on the tile floor. The furniture in the bedroom is way to large for the space. It was nearly impossible to use the closet or the dresser. Hooks in the bathroom would have been nice.

Muns place was awesome. Some people can be a bit picky , but Mun has done a great job with the apartment. There is boogy boards, beach umbrella, and even a wagon for getting to the beach. There is 2x TVs where our little guys were sometimes in the room watching netflix while we got some quiet time in the lounge. Each TV has cable, and the bedroom tv has cable & then another cable provider. Beds were really comfy. Sofa bed more suited to kids. The Banyon is great we've been here four times different apartments. Couple suggestions to make 6 star reduce the size of coffee table as we had it moved out of way the whole time. Block out blinds in bedroom as its pretty light pretty early. The grocery tip is uber to the local safeway, $8, take your travel luggage bags and fill the groceries in, uber home for $8. Our boys loved alternating between the beach and the Banyon pool. Great apartment Mun. thanks.

Nice location

The condo is located in the heart of Waikiki so it was easy to walk to a number of restaurants, the beach, zoo, aquarium, shopping etc. Despite being in the city, it was very quiet (being on the 32nd floor). We appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with enough supplies for the four of us to have more than 1 meal before washing the dishes. Beds were comfortable as well.

Great value, parking included and close to bus stop if not renting a car. Beach a 2 block walk away. Only complaint is ac would leak water onto balcony when used so not much good in terms of being able to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Great location for everything you need!

Location was fantastic since it is just a couple blocks from Waikiki Beach and all the shops/restaurants. Check in and parking are also a breeze with easy to follow instructions from property owner. Condo was exactly as expected with great ocean and city views. We loved that the condo also came with tons of beach accessories and had many amenities. Would recommend for anyone travelling to Oahu for any length of time.

Wonderful View and Location

We spent 9 nights in this wonderful unit and I couldn’t say enough good about it and host. Good points: View from balcony is breath taking! To left is mountains and left >Waikiki beach and slightly right is mountains with view of city. >Everything you need to cook meals in and within walking distance there are plenty of good restaurants. >Easy parking, suggest parking close to elevators and generally that isn’t a problem. >Great was her and dryer at the end of hall. It uses a phone app that will also let you know when the phone is ready. >Plenty of space for 4 people. (Great view) >Host did an excellent job of getting us checked in and out, use well written notes provided. (Did I mention, Great View?) >Super clean unit with great view. >beach chairs and other beach items on balcony with great view. >Great place for our first visit to Hawaii. >I could write more but just take our words for it, Great View and apartment Bad: >Needs a broom and dustpan. (There May have been one, we didn’t look too hard.) We can’t thank the host enough for a great experience in Waikiki!

The 32nd floor view from the lanai was the best,the interior of the condo was better than expected,loved the free parking self check in was seamless. Called the owner in regard to TV operating instructions and she sent someone within an hour.it was discovered the glass coffee pot was cracked and anew one was bought and delivered.within a short time.I will rent this property again.

LOVED this condo

Beautiful condo. It was probably our favourite place we’ve stayed in waikiki. The beds were comfy, the AC was very cool and efficient, close to the beach, free parking, building and condo were clean, loved the use of the rec floor (we used pool, BBQs, and playground daily), used the laundry facilities on our floor, loved the keypad entry so we didn’t have to find a card or “check-in” when we arrived late. SO appreciated the little things for us to use: cooler, wagon, snorkel gear, tennis rackets, fans, booster seat, etc. Few very minor cons: the elevator in the building takes forever (so many stops), we wished there would have been blackout curtains so our kids could sleep in the afternoons (we taped up some black garbage bags), and not a sufficient lock for the lanai door (we kept something big in front as we were afraid of our kids wandering out). Absolutely loved our stay and we will be back!

We had a great 5 days at the Waikiki Banyan condo. The layout of the condo was excellent and it was well furnished with a nice view. Only downside was the quite noisy air conditioner - needs an upgrade to a split system unit.

Mum-Won’s place is in an excellent location, 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The condo has everything you need comfortable stay. Mun-Won is super responsive and made the booking process very easy. We would stay here again.

Awesome place for the family

We had a blast in Waikiki from this condo. The place is pretty roomy but as mentioned in other reviews there are some furniture that the place can be without. Great view from the windows in the bedroom as well as in the patio. Its one long block - probably around 3 blocks - from the beach. The room included a body board and snorkeling gear. We ended up leaving some things behind for other people to use (umbrella, snorkels). We found out the last couple days the the room had a beach umbrella under the bed! So look around for some useful things. Overall, fun stay for the family!

Great location, condo was in a great building.

Just finished a 3 night stay here. The place appeared big and spacious in the pictures but was crowded by big furniture. It would be better to remove some cabinets etc and reduce the size of the dining table, coffee table and such for guests to move around less restrictedly within the condo. Far better to provide beach chairs, umbrella, etc for guests use. The shower curtain was too short, water could not be contained within the tub whilst showering. Be aware the view of the ocean is only a side-on view from the balcony. There are no views from the condo itself. The air conditioning unit is very noisy even when we put it on the lowest fan setting. We ended up turning it off and stewed in the heat. The pool and facilities were closed due to the hurricane warning although it was a storm in a teacup. It could have reopened on Saturday when things have calmed down. Even all the shops were opened by then. By the time it was reopened, it’s time to leave, never got to use the pool. Overall, this condo can be made to be more user friendly and more practical for guests enjoyment.

Almost perfect to stay!

Great view from wide lanai and windows, lots of kitchen cutlery, quite clean room and comfortable furniture. I think this apartment is one of the best facility at Waikiki Banyan. The only thing missing at this apartment is "Luggage Stand".

We wanted to have a weekend home that was most family friendly. We looked for over 2 years to find a Condo that would work for our family - we have 2 children, 6 and 8. The Waikiki Banyan is in the best location near the 'quieter' and family friendly side of Waikiki. We bought two Waikiki Banyan condos - 3106 and 3204 for each child so they too, can enjoy these with their families! Aloha

Waikiki Banyan has a wonderful recreational deck on the 6th floor that our children enjoy. Waikiki Banyan is 1 block from the beach and the beach is protected. There are a lot of restaurants and stores near the condo.
