Casa Vidrio de Mar ist ein wunderschönes, entspannendes Haus am Meer auf der karibischen Seite der Isla Mujeres in Mexiko. Diese freundliche, sichere und malerische 8 km lange Insel vor der Küste von Cancún hat die Schönheit und den Charme eines mexikanischen Fischerdorfes bewahrt.

Genießen Sie die türkisfarbenen Farben der Karibik, einen wunderschönen Pool am Meer und einen Sandstrand direkt vor Ihrer Tür. Das Palapa auf dem Dach bietet einen Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang über der Karibik und den Sonnenuntergang über der Bucht von Cancún.

Das Casa Vidrio de Mar liegt direkt am Meer, etwas außerhalb der Stadt. Zum spektakulären North Beach und der Innenstadt (Centro) mit ihren großartigen Orten zum Essen, Einkaufen und Beobachten der Menschen sind es nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder eine kurze Taxifahrt. Die Hidalgo Street ist der Ort für das Nachtleben und eine Vielzahl von Restaurants. Einen 10-minütigen Spaziergang vom Haus entfernt befindet sich ein neuer großer Supermarkt (Chedraui). Das Haus liegt am Rande der Colonia Metorologica, wo Sie viele kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants finden. Wir haben auch Parkplätze abseits der Straße, wenn Sie sich entscheiden, einen Golfwagen zu mieten.

Der Strand vor der Casa Vidrio de Mar ist eine Mischung aus Kalkstein, Koralle und weißem Sand. Es ist ideal zum Kämmen am Strand, zur Glasjagd auf dem Meer, zum Erkunden der Gezeitenpools oder einfach zum Beobachten der Wellen der Karibik.

In den Monaten Juli und August legen Meeresschildkröten ihre Eier an unseren Strand und können nachts von der Terrasse aus beobachtet werden.

Zwischen Juni und August können Sie ein einmaliges Erlebnis haben, um mit den 30 bis 40 Fuß großen Walhaien während ihrer Wanderung zu schwimmen. Die Isla Mujeres ist ein besonderer Ort, an dem die Gewässer der Karibik und des Golfs von Mexiko vor der Küste dieser Insel verschmelzen und bis zu 400 Walhaie während ihrer Fütterungsspitzen besuchen.

The star of the property without doubt is the pool and view. Upon arrival the concierge Chema was very short and unfriendly. I mentioned that the loungers were not placed where they were supposed to be. Since the loungers were supposed to be placed on the platform of the pool that has about 3 inches of water I said that I wasn’t comfortable doing it my self and was afraid that I might fall down . Then he said he would place them but that he might fall down. To his credit he had someone place them. On the second day I sat on one of the loungers and it broke from it being so rusty. We were without loungers for 2 days. To Chema’s credit he did help us with the golf cart rental. Alex the house manager was terrific. He resolved all our issues. The house is in need of a deep cleaning. Also, a lock on the beach gate should be installed. Someone came in through the beach gate and stole 3 of our swimsuits that were out to dry. This happened at night and from then on I was not able to sleep soundly.

This house is perfect! The staff was perfect! We loved this house. It accommodated our family so well. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous and the view was breathtaking. The staff helped us find golf carts, even brought it to the house for us. This was my favorite vacation to date. My family enjoyed it so much!!’ We also loved that the house was centered in the middle of the land, which was very convenient. ! I would highly recommend booking this property!

We had an excellent time. The house and view were excellent. Relaxing in the infinity pool looking out at the ocean was amazing. Any time we had a need the host was on top of it promptly. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Just as described. Our concierge made everything very easy, especially coordinating golf cart rental. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. The pool and porch were nice. The only thing that could have made it any better would be outdoor cooking option and a washer/dryer for longer stays. We had six adults and fit nicely.

Absolutely Dreamy

Clean beautiful home with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea. We loved the rooftop views, but spent the majority of our time while at the house in the infinity pool.Great location on the island! Communication was always prompt. Could use some extra towels and maybe a dust mop vs just a broom as sand tracks in easily but overall would absolutely return.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed this property and location. This location was quite with as much sea glass as one could want. Only 5 minutes from North Beach and 20 minutes from Punta Sur by golf cart. Amazing sunrise from the master bed. We swam in the ocean (of course with water shoes) just out the back door. Appliances all worked well and had plenty of bottled water ready for us. Fast response from host we we had questions. Highly recommend

The location was awesome! Looking right out at the Caribbean is priceless, able to search for sea glass was a plus! Walking distance to some food and drinks! We did have a small issue with the pump needing to be replaced and it was taken care of in a timely manner.

Minor inconveniences but otherwise a nice place.

We liked the property, enjoyed the stay. We did lose power for 1 morning of our stay. This caused the inconveniences. On island management informed us that the owner failed to pay the power bill and that we should contact VRBO. The power was turned on some hours later, owner/VRBO didn't respond to us until after we were leaving the island. Assuming someone got ahold of them and/or paid the bill? We would have liked better communication, spent time looking at other places to stay, just to be prepared if the power stayed off. Otherwise, we love Isla, the house itself was nice, but unsure if we would trust renting again.

This house is beautiful, in a great location, beds are comfy, ac is cold and the pool has the most beautiful view!! I do have a few suggestions for the home, full length mirror in the living area, the rooftop furniture was not clean so we couldn’t really hang out up there. I suggest making it a bit more presentable with some plants, due away with cushions and add some games or hammocks something to draw people in to the roof because the view is amazing!! Overall I would stay here again and definitely give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!

We had an amazing time here!! The pool was perfect for just chilling and hanging out. The access to the beach was great. The kitchen was great and we enjoyed making breakfast and dinners here. Chema the house manager was very helpful!! We will definitely come back and stay here again!!

Family trip

Me my wife and my two daughters aged 11 and 12 enjoyed our stay immensely at casa vidrio de Mar. The pool is amazing and access to the beach fantastic. I was able to swim some in front of the house even with the Rocky conditions. We saw sea turtles laying eggs right in front of the pool. It's very convenient, close to play Norte and also close to the south end. We spent days at Kin ha as well as Mayan beach. The best thing was we were able to have days where we just stay at the house and swam and the pool and enjoyed the beach. The house does have ants, But that is to be expected when you're in the Caribbean. Just make sure you put all the food in the fridge. After we were there for a while we noticed significantly fewer ants. Play cleanliness of the house was fantastic as well as the communication with the property manager. We were able to connect our Netflix account with the smart TV and our girls really enjoyed this as a way to get inside and cool off for an hour or so during the heat of the day. The pool really makes this house. Highly recommend staying here, they were so accommodating and helpful during our stay.

Sunrise Paradise

Just got back from our girls trip and our first stay on the island. Spectacular sunrise views every morning and pool time in the evenings! Communication with the concierge was excellent throughout our stay. The house has everything you need for the most relaxing stay! Center of the island so whether you want to hang out at Playa Norte or do a bar crawl on the south side of the island it’s just a 15-20 minute golf cart ride! Check out was even easier as our Concierege even had taxis for us to get to the ferry in plenty of time. I would highly recommend booking this house for your stay on Isla!!

Great Family Spring Break Stay on IM!

The property exceeded our expectations! Our first visit to Isla Mujeres, and we are grateful we picked Casa Vidrio Del Mar. the house was perfect, the pool was outstanding, the rooftop offered a great view of the sunrise & sunset, and the beach was peaceful. A bit rough, but we still went in for some nice snorkeling. We will definitely be back to stay at this house! Chema (our concierge) was a great resource, and always willing to help!

This house isn’t a perfect location. The house has been completely remodeled. It looks amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool was absolutely wonderful. If you ever get a chance I highly recommend visiting this property you will not be disappointed.

Great home. Far better than expected. We have been to island more than 10 times. This is one of our two, top pics. Pool wasn’t working as should, but it’s in the works. Easy access to beach, town, everywhere!!! Beds are pretty hard, so a pad would be nice. Really really enjoyed our stay!!

Great location needs some TLC

We liked the property. Great location for downtown Hiligo and centro. Just need some updating. Couch/futon was real stained and dirty. Curtains in house were stained. Bench seat was totally dirty and was covered by a blanket. We only one towel a piece for 6 people for the week. One wash cloth. Room were nice, kitchen was nice. Overall just needed updated.

Amazing view

We stayed at casa vidrio for seven days and Im so glad we booked our vacation at this beautiful house . We all had such a great fun time at the pool and walked along the beach to explore . There’s so much to do in this beautiful Island .We only had one issue with the pool and Algae but that was all taken care of when I called maintenance number they came out cleaned it and we were able to enjoy the pool again . The view from the main room is breath taking ! We can’t wait to return , thank you !!
