Die Villa, nahe eines Jachthafens gelegen, ist nur 200m von Jolly Beach entfernt & bietet Selbstversorgern eine geräumige Unterkunft mit Privatterrasse & Grill, Deck, Pier & Ankerplatz. Die Luxusvilla hat 1 Küche, 1 Wohn-/Esszimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer mit Ensuite-Bädern im OG & eine Garderobe im EG. Sie wurde vor kurzem renoviert, um höchsten Ansprüchen gerecht zu werden: luxuriöse Möbel, Kabel-TV, DVD Spieler, Deckenventilatoren, AC in allen Räumen. Es gibt einen Balkon mit Blick auf das Wasser, eine Garage für einen Golfbuggy & eine Garagenzufahrt.
Jolly Beach ist ein weißer Sandstrand, mit wenigen Leuten & vielen Wassersportarten. Das Restaurant “Castaway” befindet sich direkt am Strand. Es ist von ganztags geöffnet. Es gibt Restaurants, Bars, 1 Kasino, Geschäfte, 1 Bank, Tennis- & Squashplätze, 1 Fitnessstuido, Yogastunden & einen großes Schwimmbad im Jachthafen. Der Supermarkt bietet alles, was Sie für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigen. Autos & Golfbuggies können gemietet werden.

Reinigung der Villa: Unser Haushälter wird Sie nach Ihrer Ankunft bei der Villa treffen. Die Villa wird gereinigt und die Bettwäsche bei Aufenthalten von zwei Wochen nach einer Woche gewechselt. Dies geschieht bei Aufenthalten von bis zu einem Monat wöchentlich, obwohl ausreichend Bettwäsche vorhanden ist. Bei Aufenthalten von länger als einem Monat gilt Selbstversorgung, Reinigung und Wäsche sind getrennt zu arrangieren.

Deck und Pier: Wir haben ein neues Deck und Pier hinter der Terrasse errichtet, wodurch der Bereich doppelt so groß ist. Am neuen Deck können Sie nun länger sonnenbaden. Durch die eingebauten Lichter können Sie sich auch am Abend dort aufhalten.

Great Family Villa

The south finger of Jolly Harbor is a great place to stay. The villa is perfect for a family who wants to be close to the beach. The villa was exactly as advertised. The check in process was great. We will definitely stay at this place again.

Great location and amenities

Very nice villa in a secure gated community, well equipped, great view. Short walk to beach and bar/restaurant (Castaways). Appreciated the well-stocked supermarket in Jolly Harbour open 7 days a week. Last but not least, booking, contact with owner, payment and reception was all fast and easy. Highly recommended!

Antigua family vacation

We had a great time and loved the villa. Very clean and open, lots of room, great patio, close to beach. Villa was exactly as advertised. Owner (Paul) responsive to all our questions before we arrived. Once there, his property manager (Stacey) was equally helpful if we had any questions. This property is highly recommended.

Lovely townhouse apartment in Jolly beach

The apartment was a peaceful, home from home with everything you could think of. The verandah at the back was particularly lovely in the mornings and the walk to the beach was 2 minutes. The convenience of the setting was matched by the relaxed nature of the Development. The welcome package was much appreciated and the bedrooms were the right size for us.....we all slept well. There are bars and restaurants nearby so you don't need to travel at night if you don't want to and have a few drinks too. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable stay in Antigua.

Antigua Villa

Very nicely furnished villa.A few problems at the beginning but soon sorted out.As we were there for two months could have done with a washing machine and a gas barbacue . Rented lots of villas in the past ,this was one of the nicest and hopefully will be returning each year for two months plus!! Near the beach,shops,swimming pool. Hired a boat for a week which was great,visted lots of nice restaurants,Castaways,The Nest(next beach along,walk up the hill and through the hotel)Dennys,Sheer,Petes,Mellins,Gibsons.Also went to the local church turn left outside Jolly Harbour.Used Witney as a taxi driver,hes usually at the Taxirank or you can ask for him. Did not want to come home!! Jenny and family.

Emerald Dreams was immaculately presented and fully equipped for an enjoyable 2 week stay.

The descriptions on the internet were accurate for Emerald Dreams and its surroundings. The property and its surrounds were spotless when we arrived and we quickly settled down for our holiday. Some of the nearby properties were needing upgrading but it was clear to see that the owners of Emerald Dreams had invested heavily in keeping theirs in A1 condition. A couple of unexpected issues occurred during our time there but the owners were superb in ensuring matters were sorted out expeditiously. I would certainly recommend the property to friends or relatives. The beach was fantastic and only 3-4 minutes away on foot. Miracles restaurant,situated just out of the complex, offered good food and service at a reasonable price. Avoid Castaways on the beach as it is vastly overpriced. Recommend the Taxi company the owners arranged for our transfer from the airport.

Beautiful Jolly Harbor Villa

This is a beautiful property on one of the top locations in Jolly Harbor. It is a 3 minute walk to the best beach on the island with beach restaurant and local beach bar as well. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas available on the beach. The owner has a golf cart which can be rented for your stay which is super fun and allows you to get to the grocery store and the shops and restaurants in the gated harbor community with less than a 5 minute toodle. The villa is super well kept and nicely decorated. Everything you need is already there, like home away from home. We have stayed all over the Caribbean and this was our favorite vacation ever. Relaxing at the villa with the views of the houses across the finger, the super yachts, and the boats going by the end of the inlet was absolutely lovely and relaxing. We thank the owners so much for letting us stay in their beautiful home and for making sure we had everything we needed. The representative was super helpful with any questions we had and in recommending places to eat and assisting in making taxi reservations. She had the golf cart there and filled up when we arrived so we could go off to the grocery store and get our supplies. Overall a 5 star vacation!!

Emerald Dreams is Truly a Gem

We had the pleasure of staying in this perfect villa for two glorious months!! We have rented villas in many countries and I have to say this experience was not only seamless (booking and forthcoming info) but an exceptional property!! The owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect...and it was. We had several friends come down to other units near us in Jolly Harbour so we were able to see inside all of them and Emerald Dreams was by far the best overall. Unlike many others where your view would be across to other sets of villas, this view is of larger private homes with the hills behind. It was quiet, extremely well stocked if you wish to cook at home, and had a perfect location. It was a short walk to the beach, grocery store, numerous restaurants and even the local bus stop. We did not require a golf cart to get around and very much enjoyed the short walk unlike the rest of our friends! The property management team, Typically Tropical, was efficient, available 24/7 in case there was an issue and very professional. If we have the opportunity, we would stay in this exact villa again. Thank you Paul and Tara for sharing your beautiful space with us!!

A wonderful villa in a tranquil setting

We chose this villa based on existing reviews and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we made our enquiry, Paul and Tara were always prompt to deal with any queries and the booking was very simple. We would definitely recommend transfer, our flight was delayed by 2 hours and it was great to have someone take you direct to property and then to have the management company waiting there to make you feel at home immediately. The property is faultless, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, everything you needed. We stayed with our 2 children age 6 & 5, it was a great location just a short stroll to the beach which was beautiful. We also used the swimming pool at The Crows Nest which our girls loved while we enjoyed the "happy hour"! This bar and also the supermarket is about a 10 minute walk away. We did hire a car for a couple of days which I would recommend as it's a great way to see some of the island. We also hired a golf buggy which is a great way to nip around Jolly Harbour and take you to different restaurants. I would recommend a visit to Al Porto Italian restaurant, lovely setting, good service and on both visits we had a great meal. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend. A truly memorable holiday!

Good but not great stay

I booked the villa and initially Paul was a lovely host to deal with. He was very efficient and responsive and I expressed a few concerns about the update of the villa based on previous reviews and he gave me assurances that the villa is in a very good condition with new furnishings but that he hadnt updated the pics on the ad so I proceeded with the booking. The check in process was seamless, the property manager Stacey was very nice and ensured that I could check in as agreed with no issues. She was very kind throughout the process and a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the villa I was underwhelmed at first sight. There is a few large cracks running through the kitchen and lounge floor and the fridge freezer had extensive rust and damage inside and outside the appliance and the microwave could only work with a piece of string that you had to pull in a specific way. The travel cot that I received which Paul agreed to provide (i appreciate that this isn’t a prerequisite for anyone to have) was very old and dirty and I could not put my baby in it. I mentioned these things to Paul and instead of a reasonable response, he was instantly defensive and quite rude. He mentioned that the rusty fridge is not a hygiene issue which I refuted as rust is a breeding ground for bacteria. Stacey however understood my issues and explained that they had these things on order but they hadn’t arrived yet which made sense and she apologised unlike the host. Great location

Well, I must admit I’m surprised at this review. One would think by reading this review my house was like a pig sty, it was actually only like a pig sty after these guests left. There was hair everywhere and handprints all over the patio door glass and coffee tables and Black marks over my white walls on the staircase . I think going back over the many reviews I have received this may be the second one that was not acceptable. Things are not easy to source on this island and I tried for 3 months to get one. The other alternative was dont use it. Granted the fridge had some rust between the door and the frame , which I have now repaired but it was not a hygeine issue, but as I said looking at the state my villa was left in I dont think hygeine was top of your list. As for the cot that was supplied, I had not seen it . It was supplied by my property manager who I understand got you another the same day that seemed to please you. Im sorry the crack in the tile made your experience less that it could have been. All of my furniture in this villa bar the fridge is less than 2 years old and yet you still complain . You will not be welcome back.

Fantastic relaxing holiday at Emerald Dreams.

Lovely well equipped villa in a great location. What could be better than relaxing on your own decking, sipping a rum punch and watching the boats coming and going. The awning over the patio made a great sun shade which was needed as the sun rises. We were out on the patio most mornings at about 7am taking in the views which are great. So relaxing... even the birds are so chilled out, they will eat from your hand. The villa is big, enough room for everyone and the bed is fantastic, so comfortable. Amy and Margot were fantastic, always on hand if needed and so friendly. We used their taxi service which I would recommend. Glenn the taxi driver was great. He will tell you anything you want to know and also give you a guided tour if you wish. The supermarket on site caters for most things so you will not go short. Did not have a bad meal anywhere on the complex. Do not miss out on Happy Hour at the Crows Nest or Castaways which is right on the beach...fantastic. If you fancy a trip out around the island and you do not have a car you can get a bus to St Johns and then transfer to another bus which will take you to the South of Antigua, very cheap or use the taxi service located in Jolly Harbour. All in all I would recommend Emerald Dreams to anyone looking for an excellent and relaxing holiday. Maurice & Paulette

Wonderful stay at Emerald Dreams

What an incredible time we had at Emerald Dreams. We stayed the month of March and it was a "Dream". The townhouse is as described, well-maintained, comfortable, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you will need to self cater. We enjoyed coffee and our breakfast on the deck each morning, packed a picnic lunch in the provided cooler, and hit the beach. The townhouse is situated on a quiet well maintained street within the gated secure marina community. There are restaurants (el Porto, and The Crows Nest) we enjoyed. Many more to try. The Epicurion grocery store is less than a 10 minute walk and will meet all your needs including a liquor store. A 2 minute walk and you have arrived at Castaway Beach bar and a beach worthy of being described as one of the Caribbean's best. The colour of the water and the sky are often hard to believe as real. We did have a car for the month which allowed us to visit other beaches close by, Valley Church beach where you will find loungers and umbrellas for rent ($5 each) and The Nest (enjoy their lobster for lunch) and Ffrys Beach, also with loungers and Dennis's for lunch. We also took the local bus to St Johns, catching the van like bus just outside Jolly Harbour gate ($3 return pp, 20 minute ride). Quite an experience and saves trying to find parking in St Johns. Make sure you go to Cuties for lunch. We also splurged and went to Sheer Rocks for lunch. Make a reservation for a daybed and plunge pool (11:00-4:00pm), tapas for lunch- delicious. We made a daytrip to English Harbour and had lunch at Boom (again make a reservation and enjoy their infinity pool for the afternoon). I could go on and on recommending all the wonderful things to do while staying at Emerald Dreams. We were well taken care of by Denise the housekeeping/property manager. We can't wait to have another opportunity to visit Emerald Dreams.

This place is the real deal

I'm probably going to leave out some important details but if you are looking for a two bedroom villa in Jolly Harbour or anywhere in Antigua, you really need to look closely at this beautiful place. The owners, Paul and Tara, are extremely diligent about ensuring that every detail is covered. The communication prior to rental was great. Any questions that we had, they were quick to get back to us. After we were there a day or two, they checked in with us to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. And when we arrived at the house, there was a member of their property management team waiting for us to show us around and provided a great welcome basket. The location of this villa is amazing. We debated the north finger vs the south finger and definitely feel we made the right decision choosing this villa on the south finger. It is walking distance to the beach and to Castaways where we went for dinner one night and for drinks on a couple other occasions (Karaoke and bonfire on Friday nights). We had rented a car but if you don't you might want to consider renting a golf cart. It would definitely make it easier to get around Jolly Harbour and for your stops at a very nice supermarket, Epicurean. Besides Castaways, we also ate at Al Porto restaurant (2 for 1 gourmet pizzas on Tuesday night and an awesome sunset) plus Miracles which is just at the top of the entrance to Jolly Harbour. All three restaurants we would recommend and are so close to the villa. There were a few other restaurants on the property that also looked great but we just didn't have enough time. We'll save them for next time. The one nice thing about the north finger is the beach. We liked the south beach, but the north is even quieter and more beautiful, if that is possible, and since we had a car it was no problem at all to get over to there. It's amazing what all of Jolly Harbour has to offer. We also used the new gas grill at the villa. It works great. Another thing about this property that I definitely want to recommend is the outside area. We spent a lot of time out there. It's a very comfortable spot with some great views. Like most other people, we would highly recommend this villa. Great location, great amenities, great owners.

Not as advertised…

It’s always a roll of the dice at Jolly’s Villas. This listing promoted luxurious accommodations that were not factual. For one, the furnishings are super dated. The couch as an example might have been great in 2016 (where most of these reviews were posted) but in 2022…seriously a beat couch. The same goes for the entire Villa. Perhaps years ago the owners spent money in making this place seems “luxurious “ but after years of wear - wow does it show. To add to the false advertisement, the cleaning by the property management company was sub par. So much so that dust was clearly visible (as if it was never swept) and we found several dead cockroaches. Adding to the cockroaches, we also saw several live scurrying throughout the kitchen when we came home from dinner. Will add, we never cooked in the Villa due to the cockroaches. May I also add, this place offers in their description cable…yeah, that’s a lie. We had Netflix that we never used due to the 11 burnt in dots into the older style TV that didn’t allow us to watch a clear screen. I mean, but a new TV. Also, and this may be part of the cleanliness, when we arrived - I had to turn the water on to each toilet. Leads me to believe no one recently is renting this place. On the somewhat upside, the outside patio is nice and pleasant (others have posted similar experiences). The location to Jolly Beach and Commercial Center (as others have posted) is accurate. However the overall cleanliness, advertised amenities, and “luxurious” accommodations are false. We would not recommend this Villa to those considering.

Im sorry that you had such a bad experience and my couch and TV ( the defect which I had no knowledge of) ruined your vacation. I think anyone can see from my previous reviews the most recent of which was a month ago , that your opinion was a one off. I apologise that turning on the water to the washrooms was overlooked , however this is done to circumvent any possible flooding from an overflow of water. I understand from my property manager that some renovations are being undertaken in the next door villa which could account for some dust. As for roaches. They are endemic to the Caribbean and not just my villa. The villa has been sprayed for them and there is no infestation. Again im sorry for your bad experience . Thank you for pointing out the issue with my TV. I will have it along with the couch replaced as soon as Im able to return to Antigua.Regards Paul

A most relaxing vacation

We had one of our best vacations staying at Paul' s villa. We loved the location on the South Finger of Jolly Harbor which allowed us to walk to restaurants and to the beach in no time. The view from the villa is wonderful (from both the living room area and the master bedroom). For a family of 4 it worked great for us as our daughters had their own bedroom and bath. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings are very comfortable. Communication with the owner and the property manager was easy. We are grateful that we were allowed to leave a few hours later when we found out our flight had been delayed. We highly recommend this villa and we hope to return one day.

Beautiful location

Apartment was ready when we arrived and the agents were very helpful. Great walking distance to the beautiful beach and Castaways beach bar served the best Indian food. Lovely views from terrace and enjoyed sitting there early morning enjoying the morning sun

very clean and well kept, 5 minutes to the beach!

The villa is very well kept in the best part of Jolly harbour, you are a 5 minute walk to the beach and all amenities you will need are on site. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing place to enjoy your vacation.

Emerald Dreams Jolly Harbour, perfect for couples or Family. The Villas is Clean, Homely and well appointed with all that you could want or need. The Owners have thought of everything. Taxi was arranged and waiting to collect us from the Airport and took us to the Villa where we was greeted by the Villas House Keeper and shown round. We recommend, Stingray City, Wadadli Cats Catamaran trip around the Island and of Course Sunday Night at Shirley Heights to party while watching the Sun go down. Eating out, recommend, Miracles Caribbean Restaurant on the entrance to Jolly Harbour, Food and Prices excellent. Getting around, recommend using the local Bus Service, Very Cheap and Reliable. Really is an Emerald Dream!

We've stayed in Jolly Harbour before but this villa is spectacular! It is extremely well equipped, spotless and very close to the beach. Sitting out on the deck in the morning with the water and mountain view is so enjoyable. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. Don't miss Melini's and Basilico"s! We have loved our time at this villa and would recommend it!

Great location, paradise!

We spent a week here and really enjoyed the layout of the villa. It's well-appointed. We were 4 adults sharing the space and we had lots of room to lounge on patio etc. Easy 5min walk to the beach. First time at Jolly Harbour complex, would definitely come again. Having a golf cart made getting around a breeze. Highly recommend to reserve golf cart right away. The owners are prompt in answering any questions or concerns, well organized and we couldn't be happier. We'd love to visit again! Thank you for sharing your villa with us.

My husband and I just came back from an 18-day wonderful vacation in Antigua. We stayed at Villa Emerald Dreams. It was our fourth time in the island; each time staying at a different villa as we look into reviews prior to booking. Each villa appears to be all similar in design/layout. Villa Emerald Dreams was exceptional. The furnishings and decor reflect good taste. The beds were comfortable, all rooms were very clean. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, and having a WiFi is a bonus. It also helps that there is a washer in the villa.There was plenty of supplies, from fresh bath and beach towels to kitchen utensils, pots, pans, even citronella for outside when hanging out on the patio or deck where we spent a lot of time enjoying the views, stargazing, even listening to some live local bands from a nearby restaurant, while having our drinks. The beautiful jolly beach is a five minute walk from the villa. A buggy is necessary to get around, especially when going to the supermarket and you have to carry those heavy jugs of water back to the villa. Thanks to TT villas for being there when we needed them. We were lucky with the dates that we picked; weather was perfect, not too hot, and we had some cool evenings. We were very satisfied with our stay at Villa Emerald Dreams. Would highly recommend it and would stay here again.
