A note from my mom:
"This is my family farm. I was blessed to be the one to carry on to save the farm. My father bought the farm in the 1960s and in 1976 he found the cabin in a neighboring community, bought it, and he and one other man tore it down, piece by piece, numbered each one and put it back on his property. Each cut of wood has his touch and heart in it. I played on this farm as a child, picked strawberries to sell to friends, laid tobacco stakes for my brothers to stalk rows of tobacco, rode our horses, feed our cows, and made castles in the hay loft."
