Our stay was so relaxing in this cabin.. 1st night we had rain and the sound on the tin roof was amazing..We are definitely planning on another visit..

The cabin was great! It was clean, cozy, and well appointed. The host was very responsive, helping out with a special request for our cooking needs and assistance with directions when arriving after dark. Very relaxing listening to the running water from the stream behind the house while enjoying the fire pit with a drink in hand. Will definitely try to make this a repeat trip!

The cabin was nestled a few hundred feet off of the main road and was very easy to access. Far enough away from everything, but not a ridiculous drive to get into town! It was clean and had plenty of amenities available. It’s perfect for a one night or a one week stay! Would stay here again!

The cabin was clean and had pretty much everything you could need available, even cute little laundry detergent bottles. The only thing I felt it was missing was a couple chairs on the back porch to listen to the creek flow. The internet worked great so I was able to still work and the cabin was close enough to the Purple Fiddle we were able to enjoy a fun evening listen to live music.and have a just a short drive back to the cabin. I will say my GPS had us turn on a rd before the actual little gravel road we needed but we turn around and was able to figure it out to get to the cabin driveway. We would definitely stay again though!

There was an overwhelming, deeply musty odor inside that cabin. It was not a mild or subjective “smell.” It was an intense, pervasive odor that would be apparent to anyone and made the cabin completely uninhabitable. We checked in, immediately went to a concert, came back, and could only stay for about an hour before we had to leave. The smell was so deeply embedded that I cannot imagine simply cleaning the cabin would resolve it. I thought maybe we could get used to it, but we left in the middle of the night without even getting in the bed. We immediately brought the problem to the host’s attention and had to leave, completely ruining our weekend, which was supposed to continue two more days. We went home. The host said she was going to check the cabin herself, then instead claimed she sent two other people who supposedly detected no unusual odor. I find that impossible to believe given how overwhelming the smell was when I was there.Despite having to leave almost immediately because of the condition of the cabin, the host refused to refund any of my money. Extremely disappointing experience. Future guests beware.

We take the comfort and satisfaction of our guests seriously and were sorry to hear that this guest was unhappy with his stay. After the concern was reported, we arranged for two people to inspect the cabin while I was out of town, and neither detected the odor described. Following checkout, our cleaning person also found no unusual odor throughout the cabin but discovered a personal deodorant product left behind that had an unusually strong, unpleasant musty scent. She also noticed the same scent on the bedding. We shared this information with Vrbo during its review of the guest’s claim. We understand that the guest was disappointed with the outcome, but we made our decision based on the information available to us and the results of our inspections. We strive to provide a clean, comfortable cabin and take concerns seriously whenever they arise.
