The property is located in Pine, Colorado, surrounded by forest, wildlife, and mountain scenery. It feels secluded while remaining close to Highway 285, outdoor recreation, restaurants, shops, and nearby mountain towns.

• Conifer: about 6 minutes, 4.8 miles
• Bailey: about 12 minutes, 9.4 miles
• Evergreen: about 20 minutes, 13.4 miles

• Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre: about 22 minutes, 19.3 miles
• Downtown Denver: about 47 minutes, 37.5 miles
Getting Around:
A vehicle is required. The home is conveniently located near Highway 285, with easy access to Conifer, Bailey, Evergreen, Morrison, Red Rocks, and Denver.
Parking:
• Ample parking is available on the property
Winter driving:
• A 4WD or high-clearance AWD vehicle is required from November through April
• The driveway is fairly flat but unpaved
• Snow and packed ice are possible
• Snow removal is scheduled when snowfall reaches at least 3 inches
• Plowing may not always be completed before arrival or departure
• Guests must arrive with proper tires and a winter-capable vehicle
Guests arriving in a 2WD, low-clearance, or poorly equipped vehicle may have difficulty reaching the property. We are not responsible for travel issues caused by improper vehicles or winter driving conditions.

Mountain setting:
• This is a true mountain property with wildlife, changing weather, and natural terrain
• Elk, deer, foxes, and other animals may be present
• Never approach or feed wildlife
• Children should not be left unattended outdoors
Air conditioning:
• The home does not have central air conditioning
• Mountain homes typically cool naturally through open windows and doors
• Please close all windows and doors before leaving or when rain begins
Heating:
• Heat is controlled by wall thermostats
• The home uses radiant floor heat
• Indoor fireplaces are connected to the heating system
Insects:
• Flies and other insects may occasionally enter the home, especially during fall and seasonal changes
• The home is professionally cleaned, but some insects or dead flies near windows may still occur
Fire safety:
• No wood-burning campfires anywhere on the property
• No fireworks
• Wildfire risk is taken seriously
• Starting a campfire may result in immediate removal and a $1,000 fine
Smoking:
• No smoking anywhere on the property, including outdoors
• County regulations prohibit smoking at vacation rentals because of wildfire risk
• Smoking may result in immediate removal and a $250 fine
