Lake Shack baby! 3 bed, 1.5 bath lake front cottage!

We truly appreciate our guests and look forward to providing you with a beautiful view and a relaxing vacation. While we don’t anticipate any issues, we ask that you take a few minutes to review our house rules to ensure you are aware of expectations for your stay at our house.

*The dock is currently unavailable for use to dock your boat. Due to the drought, the water level is about 5 feet below average.

Maximum of 6 guests on the property at any time. No parties!

Smoking
Smoking/vaping is NOT allowed in the house at any time. $250 fee for smoking in the house and we will ask you to immediately vacate the premises for violating house rules.


Children
Always supervise children at all times. Our house is not child proof, and the lake presents a danger. We deeply care about the safety of our guests.

Guests
People other than those in the guest's party designated in the reservation may not stay overnight at the property. Any other person at the property at any time is the sole responsibility of the guest.

All guests are required to sign a dock waiver as well as agree to the terms below.

Quiet Hours are between 10pm-8am


Safety
The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities which includes the lake, dock and use of paddleboards and kayaks. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite.


Camera
As disclosed on the listing, we have a camera mounted on the balcony pointing towards the lake and one on the front patio. The cameras are to remain plugged in at all times. We use it ONLY to know when there is a power or internet outage and to monitor the lake. Please know that the sound is not activated and we are not watching you.

Pets
Our house has a NO pets allowed policy. If any pets are brought into the house there will be an additional $200 cleaning fee and you will be asked to immediately vacate the property forfeiting your reservation and rental fees.

Per NC Vacation Rental Agreement under NC vacation rental act, booking and paying for this reservation is evidence of your acceptance of these terms and your intent to use this property as a vacation rental.

You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the owner's closet in the 3rd bedroom. We also have a boathouse on the property with a rooftop patio with amazing lake views.

*Jet skis are not for guest use or for rent.
