Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from historic downtown, Oliver's Cottage is thoughtfully decorated with the perfect blend of comfort, character, and convenience. Whether you’re visiting for beach days, concerts, wedding weekends, or exploring the Port City’s vibrant dining and arts scene, this cozy retreat makes an ideal home base.

The home features 2 comfortable bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, along with warm, inviting spaces designed for relaxing after a day of adventure. The enclosed front porch is a guest favorite—complete with a porch swing and separate sitting area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening. A small back deck offers another peaceful outdoor space to relax and enjoy the coastal breeze.

One of the most unique touches of the property is the charming chicken coop, home to 7 organically fed hens who happily provide fresh eggs for your visit!

Located directly across from a neighborhood park featuring a playground, creek, wooden bridge, and dog-friendly amenities, the setting is both peaceful and convenient. The home is in the historic Carolina Place neighborhood and is an easy 3/4 mile walk to the Cargo District with bars such as End of Days and Fermental, as well as a brewery and several eateries.

This fantastic spot is less than 2 miles from historic downtown Wilmington, where you will find restaurants, breweries, live theater, shopping, concert venues, and more! Beautiful Wrightsville Beach is a short 8-mile drive up the road. (There are a couple of beach chairs at the home for your use!)

Additional amenities include off-street parking for up to 3 vehicles and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals at home. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, though we kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture.

Whether you’re exploring Wilmington’s historic charm, spending the day at the beach, or simply relaxing on the porch swing with fresh eggs for breakfast, this cottage offers a cozy and memorable stay for couples, friends, and families alike.

All linens are included with your stay, and beds will be made and ready for your arrival. A set of towels will be laid out for each guest (please be sure to pack some beach towels if needed for your visit!).

We also provide enough hand soap, dish soap, laundry & dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying longer than a couple of nights, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal needs.

The home provides a Keurig coffee maker - please be sure to pack your favorite pods! :)
