Rustic meets Luxury! Our custom built 3 bedroom/3 bath cabin is located in a gated community in Zionville, NC. We are located on the borders of NC, TN and VA in an area that provides so many amazing outdoor activities. Love biking? Take a ride through the beautiful countryside to Damascus, VA and ride the trails of The Virgina Creeper. How about boating? Watauga Lake (the 3rd cleanest lake in the country) is only 29 miles away, where you can rent a boat, canoe, swim or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Like an outdoor adventure riding ATV's? Check out Doe Valley where there are 9,000 acres of mountain terrain and trails for four seasons of adventure. There are so many other activities to enjoy, and we have a whole list in our Welcome Book to keep you as active as you would like.
After a long day of activities imagine yourself relaxing in the hot tub or sitting under the stars enjoying the firepit. Not ready to relax? Enjoy the games or take up a friendly competition of darts or shuffleboard. Like to cook? We have a fully equipped kitchen all the way down to the spices! Enjoy your gourmet dinner on our outdoor deck. We provide a variety of coffee along with cream and sugar so enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to the babbling brook. You may even see some of the deer that love to roam around the community.

We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful cabin. Every detail was thought out, the place was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need. Very cozy inside and the outdoor porch and fire pit was my favorite part. Would love to come back to the mountains again. Highly recommend!

We have stayed in many cabins, and this is one of the best! It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had lots of thoughtful extras! The grill and outdoor seating was wonderful! We loved the hot tub too! We had an amazing time!

The cabin was just as described and pictured on the site. Easy to find and Kathleen checked in with us when we arrived to make sure everything was good. She answered all questions quickly and courteously.The cabin is in a very serene and private area. We could hear a babbling brook from the covered back porch. When thunderstorms rolled in, the porch was a peaceful place to enjoy the rain. The cabin was well stocked with necessary supplies and had a lot more kitchen gadgetry than we normally see in a rental. All appliances are newer and worked well. We definitely hope to rent this cabin again in the future!

Beautiful mountain retreat

This beautiful home surpassed all expectations. The house was true to the photos and very well maintained. There were several extras that made are stay very nice. I especially appreciated a variety of K cups and the “welcome basket” of snacks. The house is located in a private community & close to many activities & attractions. If you like a private, quiet mountain retreat this is the place to stay. Hope to come back again.

Perfect Family Escape from the Hustle and Bustle

We had an amazing stay with our family of 4. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed to just unwind and relax. The games, hot tube and well appointed kitchen kept us busy doing "nothing". We've stayed in several cabins in the area and will definitely look to return to this one on our next trip.

The cabin and property were very clean, cozy, and welcoming. We loved the location and how the cabin was nestled in the woods, which gave it a wonderful sense of privacy. We really enjoyed having our coffee on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub. We also saw deer almost every morning and evening while taking our miniature dog outside, which was such a special part of the experience.Our hostess, Kathleen, was incredibly helpful when we arrived later than expected. We had to text her a few times with minor questions, and she was always very accommodating, responsive, and helpful. We really appreciated her hospitality.One thing to be aware of is the parking if you have a full-size crew-cab pickup. There wasn't quite enough room to turn around in the driveway, so we simply pulled in and backed out. A smaller vehicle would likely have an easier time maneuvering. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's worth knowing ahead of time.I included a few photos of the gas grill because it was actually nicer than the one we have at home! It was a really nice setup and a pleasant surprise. If you enjoy cooking outdoors, you'll appreciate having such a good grill available.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the peaceful, private setting. We would definitely recommend this cabin. We enjoyed it so much that we even talked about trying to book here again in the future!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property location! We arrived early and the hosts allow us to put our stuff in the fridge when we arrived. The amenities were amazing and the house was clean and cozy.. There were multiple levels for us to enjoy games, family, and fun. The overall location was only about 30 minutes from Boone and surrounding waterway access. There were extras hidden away the home for things we forgot. We made so many great memories here and plan to come back again in the future. I highly recommend this property to anyone who likes both privacy and closeness to the fun things to do. Pat and Kathleen were the best hosts ever.

From our first trip to the mountain 25 years ago, we make it a point to take as many trips to the mountains as we can to destress and enjoy nature. That is the main reason why we purchased this cabin. It is the perfect spot to enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The mountains are our getaway!
