Sallan kuukkeli by Interhome

Sallan Kuukkeli is a modern log house, built in 2022, on the slopes of fell Sallatunturi and near the National park. It is a dream come true destination for a family of five: an escape from everyday life designed for active vacations and relaxation that stimulates all senses.

The cabin is located high on the slope of the fell, along the ending road, in own peace. Nice view towards the peak from the living room. Access to outdoor trails and ski trail directly from yard. 1.7 km distance to ski slopes along the road, less than kilometer along the outdoor trail.

The cabin has three bedrooms with beds for seven. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 separate beds, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed and 1 separate bed. Large living room/kitchen, two WCs, spacious hall, dressing and housekeeping room, shower and sauna.

The facilities are designed to enable active holidays as well as complete relaxation: the hall has enough space for ski shoes and outerwear, as well as a drying cabinet for wet hats and gloves; the living room has a large sofa for enjoying the view and the fireplace. Even large group can enjoy dinner at the dining table; the sauna warms up slowly and is wood-heated. From the sauna, there is direct access to the terrace. The bedrooms can be conveniently combined or separated from the common spaces by using sliding doors.

There is no TV in the cabin. However, remote work is easily possible thanks to fast Internet connection and small work desk.

The cabin is furnished thoughtfully and detailed, favoring timeless Nordic design and second-hand items. It is important for the owner that the holiday home is not only practical, but also beautiful.
