🛋️ Living Space Our large, bright living room has lots of windows, a smart TV, comfortable furniture and a wood burning fireplace. Perfect place to cozy up with family and friends.
🍽️ Kitchen Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you`d need to make a delicious family meal after a long day on the slopes or on the lake.
⛰️ Get Outside Off the living room upstairs there is a nice deck for lounging and taking in the views of the Tahoe Keys marina. Downstairs you will find a newer hot tub, grassy area and fenced yard.
🚗 Parking Park up to 6 vehicles - 3 in the garage and 3 on the driveway. There is no street parking available at rentals so make sure that all cars are off the street.
📍 Location The Tahoe keys is the most popular neighborhood in South Lake Tahoe for a reason! It`s on the water and absolutely stunning. Our home is very close to where Tahoe Keys becomes Lake Tahoe!
✏️ Please Note • We are permitted for up to 6 adults max plus kids under 13. We can sleep 10 in beds. • We are permitted for up to 6 cars max. There is no street parking allowed at rentals so make sure to park 3 in the garage and 3 on the driveway. • Our home is non-smoking. • Quiet hours are observed from 10pm - 8am but elevated noise will not be tolerated at any time. Occupancy is also limited during quiet hours. • Like most homes in Tahoe, our home does not have AC. If coming during July or August, it can get into the 80s but we do provide fans. • After you book, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement. • We try our best to WOW you and earn your 5-star review so please be gracious when reviewing our home and we will do the same when we review you! :) ♡ Love our home but want to save $? Book during the week for much lower rates!
We recommend having a car. Other transportation options: Uber, Lyft and local taxi. In the Winter all vehicles will need to carry chains. We recommend cable style chains and they need to be sized to your tires.
You will check in by going right to the home using the digital keypad located on the front door. Your code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number followed by check mark and will activate at 4pm. We can be messaged over the app anytime during normal business hours. Please understand there will be a delay after 5pm when we are home with our families. We prefer to keep communication over the app but if you have an emergency please contact us via our local number. We also have a QR code guest book on the fridge that has a wealth of information in it and can help answer most questions.
The Tahoe Keys is one of the most loved areas in South Lake Tahoe bringing families back year after year. Known for being waterfront on either the marina or canal. It’s a great spot for families, kayakers or boat owners as most homes come with a boat dock.

👮🏻♂️ Local Rental Laws We welcome guests who are in compliance with the local vacation rental ordinance. Please see the “Additional House Rules” section for full ordinance regarding parking, occupancy, noise, trash, etc. We have exterior security cameras and are friends with our neighbors. We reserve the right to charge guests and in rare cases ask guests to leave our home and forfeit their reservation if the local laws are not being followed. 🐶 Pet Policy • We welcome responsible pet owners and up to 2 well behaved dogs. • Please add the # of pets you are bringing to the reservation so the pet fee can be added. • Dogs must be potty trained so no puppies or pee pads please. • Pet owners must pick up dog poop before checking out. • Pets must be kept off furniture & bedding. Excessive pet hair may incur additional cleaning charges. • You are responsible for any and all pet related damage including carpet cleans and door scratches. • Leash laws apply when on walks in the neighborhood.

LOCAL VACATION RENTAL LAWS. → Occupancy - We can’t have more people in the home than what we are permitted for. Hot Tub - *If this home has one* The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm. This is VERY strictly enforced. → Quiet Hours - County quiet hours at all rentals are from 10pm - 8am. There cannot be ANY noise after 10pm. → Noise - This home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood therefore excessive noise is not well tolerated at any time of the day. → Parking - We can only have the number of cars on the property that we are permitted for. Street parking, parking in the front yard or on the dirt is not allowed at rentals. Vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. → Trash - Trash can never be left outside. All trash must be bagged up neatly and placed into the bear box next to the driveway or HOA provided dumpster. If the bear box is full, please contact us for a trash pick up. Failure to properly store trash will result in a $250 clean up fee. → Events - We cannot host weddings, bachelor or bachelorette parties or other large gatherings at our home. ***Failure to abide by the above ordinance will result in an automatic charge of $2,000 to cover fines from the county. Other repercussions could include a citation from local law enforcement and in rare cases, eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. These are not Summit Tahoe rules, these are laws put forth by the local government that all guests must abide by.
25 YEARS OR OLDER TO RENT. You must be 25 years or older to book and be present at all times. You are responsible for everyone’s actions in your party.
CHECK IN & OUT TIMES. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. Our check in and out times are industry standard times for Vacation Rentals in Tahoe. Early check in’s and late check out’s may be requested. However, if we have guests leaving or arriving on the same day as your request we may not be able to grant an early check in or a late check out.
NON-SMOKING. This home is a very strict non-smoking property, which includes the outside. Evidence of smoking including a smoke smell or cigarette butts on the ground will result in a $250 charge. If someone in your party smokes, please have them do so off the property lines and dispose of their butts appropriately.
DAMAGE. We have a ‘you break, you buy’ policy when it comes to damage. We will do a detailed inspection after you check-out to check for new damage. If you notice damage from a previous guest or if damage occurs during your stay, please report it to us right away. Attempting to conceal or failing to report damage, will automatically result in being charged for the replacement or repair.
HIGH FIRE DANGER. Tahoe is under high fire danger year round. The following actions are strictly forbidden: bonfires, outdoor fires, firepits, charcoal BBQs, fireworks, using the gas BBQ or gas firepit on a red flag day, etc.
UNFORESEEN HOME ISSUES. When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We do a detailed inspection before your arrival to ensure it’s clean and all amenities are functioning but despite our best efforts, sometimes things still happen. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them.
FRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate.
CANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. If the home gets rebooked, we will refund you minus a 3% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing.
SECURITY CAMERAS. Like all vacation rental homes in Tahoe, we have security cameras on the exterior and noise decibel monitoring devices inside. This is to ensure our guests abide by the strict local ordinance. There are never any cameras inside our home.
REFUNDS. Reporting issues to us after you leave does not often result in a refund. We prefer to handle issues while you are here in order to make your stay with us exceptional so please report all issues to us during your stay. We are much more likely to offer a refund on our own terms for failure to resolve issues rather than be asked for money back after you’ve checked out.
