We are a family of 7, kids age 4-20.Laurent the owner could not have been more helpful in the run up to our 2 week stay, even going out of his way to get the pool heat pump working, despite the house being advertised as unheated pool. We arrived to find a house so much better than we expected. You arrive to a tree lined drive approaching the most beautiful historic chateau. The grounds are expansive and beautiful. Large horse field in the front with 3 horses for kids to enjoy. The back garden is huge and beautiful, with a magical tree lined long passage which you can sit and enjoy for hours. The pool is very large, a great shallow end for smaller kids and the deep end, deep enough to dive in. It is situated right off the house adjacent to the kitchen and sun room. The temperature was perfect no matter the weather and It’s well protected with an alarm and fence. The house its self is like being in a miniature stately home, If you like classic design, it’s simply magical. The kitchen is well equipped with a huge American fridge freezer with ice machine (a must in the hot weather). The dining room and sitting room are spacious and comfortable with a modern TV . There is a modern additional sun room, which is beautiful but does get hot in the sun. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable. There are numerous bathrooms that are a little tired but very useable. The village is quaint and the area is great for kids. Puy De Fue is a must!Overall all round more than excellent!
