A Wonderful and Memorable Vacation

We had a very pleasant stay in the Point Venture Rental Home. The property was very beautiful and big enough for 6 adults and 2 kids. The rooms are clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. I highly recommend this property for a relax vacation.

Great out of the way stay

The property was exactly as listed with amazing views! There is no easy way to get there, so it’s a bit of a drive, but worth it. Be sure to bring groceries as there is not much food around and hard to get delivery. The subdivision amenities are fantastic and it’s a nice quiet community for a superb getaway.

Lake Home

Great property, just know it is 1hr from downtown Austin so plan accordingly. Home was clean, neighborhood quiet, views off deck of water were amazing. Had laundry, 2.1 baths, huge shower, separation with 2 beds down and the main up. Not much to cook w/ so bring your own but if that’s the only complaint call it winning!! Great cx as well.

Lovely home

The house was a beautiful space! It was cool seeing all the deer and the view of the lake was amazing. The only downside was the fridge did not keep any of our items cold. They did provide a small fridge but not all of our food fit in there. Other than that, it was a nice home!

Spring Break 2024

The property is in a great neighborhood with good views of the lake. The house was clean but you could tell it wasn’t a fresh clean. You could see trash in landscaping left over from previous guests. If I owned this property I would have the rug in master cleaned or replaced as well as the pillows on couch. No pans to cook with so we made a run down the road to get some. Other than that house was set up nice and made for a good enough stay. We are an easy going crew so we just made do and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful family home

This home and it’s views are just beautiful. It was a wonderful stay for us. Some upkeep needs done as rugs and furniture are just dated and need replaced and/or cleaned. I had to call on the first night as the beds weren’t even clean when we arrived and it seemed things were just spot cleaned and not fresh cleaned. We are a laid back crew and ended up just cleaning ourselves. We left our pot holders as they weren’t included and no one wants to burn themselves in the oven. The wild deer will eat carrots almost right out of your hand and are everywhere so be careful. We will definitely go back again and stay here when I come back to visit my sister and her kids.

Breath Taking View

Easy check in! The view was beautiful even seen deers running around. Loved the patio area….we had a breakfast brunch. People were very friendly. The house is very very nice but the cleaning could’ve been better! Old eyelashes were left on the floor. Chairs (the 2 small ones where the pull out bed is) need to be cleaned very nasty to where u didn’t want to sit in them. It had rat droppings or some kind of rodent droppings EVERYWHERE….all over the cabinets by the sink area, by the doors, in the rooms, windows sills and in the shower. I had to go to the store to get cleaning products (bleach and Lysol) and we did our own cleaning. Please do better on the cleaning‼

Lake trip

We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous lake house. In the evenings we sat out on the nicely furnished patio and enjoyed the breeze. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and the beds are comfortable. The house provides access to the HOA’s private nearby lake park and the community pool. Chris, who assist with management was gracious enough to provide a small cake and balloons and we surprised our mom for her birthday. We also found a local photographer and took family photos near the lake. https://roseyb.com/ My only complaint is the dryer was not working and two of the kitchen lights flickered. I also suggest the home binder provide a map of the neighborhood and maybe list nearby stores and restaurants. Otherwise we highly recommend this lake house and hope to return.

Disappointed

The location and neighborhood is amazing with beautiful views. Other than that I was extremely disappointed with our stay. The pots and pans were filthy used and put away without being cleaned. On our second day at the house all of the water was cut off for the entire day. The city had let the property owner know but they didn’t disclose that information before I booked our stay. I called the property manager to inform them and nothing was done even after disclosing that I have a medical issue that requires me to have a working bathroom due to a roadside bomb that I was by in Iraq. We paid a lot of money to stay there.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful house with an amazing view but needs some upkeep. The walls and baseboards are dirty and need to be painted. The pullout sofa sleeper is broken and not operational. The queen bed frame in the treehouse room is 2 twin frames pushed together and they do not hold weight. We had to put the mattress on the floor. The ac vents in the sink and gurgles loudly at night when it drains. There is only 2 small pans to cook with and they are old and worn out. (There are several pots.) The knives are all very dull. We had an active yellow jacket best at front door and someone was sent the next morning to take care of that. The neighborhood is beautiful and has so many deer walking around. We used our card passes and went to the lake to swim and fish. Captain Pete’s food was very good. The community pool is very large and we enjoyed a few hours there.

Quite Neighborhood

Pro Area, Neiborhood beautiful, neighborhood. View front balcony awesome. Lake easily accessible. Overall clean. Cons Check out 10.00am (ever other vrbo checkout is 11:00am) Furniture in living area dirty, spotted with spills. throw rugs throughout should be cleaned. Stairs to main area, kitchen, aren't for client with health problems very steep. There's a elevator in house but didn't have access to clients. Wasp flying around outside deck. Contracted management 2 days into our stay, sent pics. Management said they were mud daubers and harmless. I indicated to management I know what wasp look like, they're wasp! To their credit they were out the next (3rd day into our stay) morning property manager said he destroyed a wasp nest of 150 wasp. So, we didn't enjoy the deck until the evening of the 3rd day stay. Communication is automated. Which very frustrating.

Family Gathering for Thanksgiving

5 of us stayed from Wednesday thru Sunday from Fort Worth. 6 other family members joined for a feast on Thursday. The house has a beautiful protected deck that gives extra living space. There was plenty of seating and dishes, silverware and glasses. We brought our own serving and storage pieces which were necessary. Great communication from property manager and we really enjoyed access to facilities. Grandson enjoyed looking at the deer who would visit daily and loved the kids fort bed to play in when weather was too cold or rainy to be outside or on the deck. Worked great for our family and we would consider staying again. I think 10 people would feel a bit crowded and would only think 4 adults with kids would be comfortable with couples privacy. 8 adults max because sofa bed is not comfortable for 2 people.
