To clarify, this was a one-night reservation, which is why our automated checkout information was sent on the scheduled day of arrival for the following morning. We understand how receiving that message before arriving may have seemed unusual. Unfortunately, when you arrived at approximately 10:30 p.m., there was an unexpected issue with the access code. We were not aware that you would be arriving that late in the evening and regrettably did not see the after-hours messages in time to assist you before you made alternate accommodations. Once we became aware of what had happened, we issued a refund for the stay. We take guest access very seriously and have addressed the issue to help prevent a similar situation in the future. We’re disappointed that we didn’t have the opportunity to host you and sincerely regret the frustration this caused.
