The main level features beautiful mountain views off the front deck, two-story windows and a river rock hearth that houses a wood burning stove. The open kitchen/eating/den floor plan is wonderful for hosting. Want to relax? You’ll have to choose between the master bath’s jetted soaker tub or the hot tub outside. Maybe read a book on the porch swing or have coffee on the deck. Watch birds of all kinds visit the house just outside the sliding glass doors. You’ll meet the chipmunks in the yard and often see the deer passing the road, along with other wildlife. Two driveways are offered for outdoor parking. You’ll have all the amenities you need, like strong cell service and a fully stocked kitchen. Do some outdoor grilling on the Blackstone griddle.

The downstairs is the kids’ zone, complete with billiards/ping pong/puzzle table and a big screen TV and popcorn machine for movie night. Kids bunk room offers 5 beds and a galaxy projector that lets you feel like you’re outside under the stars! They’ll even discover a surprise toy closet in the loft bedroom.

• This property is pet-friendly! Up to 2 dogs are allowed for $40/night, maximum $250 per stay. No cats allowed. Please notify us upon booking if you are bringing a pet.
• 4WD/AWD recommended during winter months
• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
In the State of Colorado, children under 12 must wear a life jacket at all times when on any vessel, including boats, kayaks, paddleboards, jet skis etc. People 12 and over must have a life jacket within reach. Please bring your own life jackets.

VRC CANCELLATION POLICY: If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
