The home backs up to a bluff, which provides enchanting animal sounds and extreme privacy. There are restaurants within walking distance (Dolores River Brewery - pizza; Kelly's Kitchen for breakfast or lunch; Mama Bears for coffee and breakfast burritos). The grocery store offers unique gourmet items, many of them are local. The River Trail is a few blocks south and runs along the river - it is a lovely walk first thing in the morning or at dusk. Dolores offers amazing trails for mountain biking and hiking at Boggy Draw. Dolores is a hub for other adventure towns (Durango is a 45 minute drive; Telluride is a 60 minute drive; Moab is a two hour drive). Local adventures include the Mancos State Park, Cortez Cultural Center, McPhee Reservoir and Summit Lake.
