Spread across three levels — two interior patios, a rooftop terrace, and rooms dressed in bamboo linens — it offers the kind of space that makes a week feel like moving in. Close enough to everything, quiet enough to rest.



The Space:

The house was recently renovated from top to bottom, and it shows in the details: stone finishes, clean lines, and rooms that feel generous without trying too hard. Four bedrooms each with a king bed — one on the ground floor with its own full bath, three upstairs sharing two bathrooms — make it comfortable for a group of friends or a family that wants room to breathe.

The ground floor opens onto a main living area and into the first patio. Upstairs, a second living room with a TV works well for late-night films or a quieter retreat from the rest of the house. At the top, a rooftop terrace frames the sky above Oaxaca — good for morning coffee or evenings that drift into night.

The kitchen is stocked for real cooking: full cookware, a blender, knives, cutting boards, everything you'd need for a market run and a long lunch. A complimentary water jug is always on hand.



Guest Access:

The whole house is yours. Entry is through a digital keypad — no keys to lose, no coordinating arrival times. A half-bath in the back patio adds convenience when the day spills outside.



The Neighborhood:

Santa Lucía del Camino sits just outside the historic center, in what locals know as the Ciudad de las Canteras — the city of quarries, where the stone that built Oaxaca was born. It's a residential corner of the city with its own rhythm: morning markets, neighborhood bakeries, streets that feel lived in rather than curated.

Jalatlaco, one of Oaxaca's most beloved barrios, is a short walk away — its cobblestone alleys, art galleries, and mezcal bars are the kind of thing you'll want to find at your own pace. The Convention Center and several commercial plazas are nearby for anything practical.



Getting Around:

The house is well connected by car, and street parking is generally easy in the area.Local taxis reach the historic center in under ten minutes. For those renting a car, the surrounding roads are straightforward and the city is compact enough to navigate comfortably.



Other Things to Note:

The house is smoke-free indoors. We ask that guest numbers stay within the listed capacity and that the space remain a home rather than an event venue — neighbors appreciate the quiet in the evenings.

Trash collection comes by each morning; guests are also welcome to leave bags in the main patio and our team will take care of it.

For security purposes, all guests must complete a mandatory digital check-in prior to arrival. This includes submitting a valid ID, completing a registration form, and providing a credit/debit card for a security deposit. This secure process is required to validate your reservation and receive check-in instructions. Failure to complete it may result in denied access without refund.
