Nido del Bosque · Coffee Farm Host · Hot Springs 25 min · Pet Friendly
Welcome to Nido del Bosque — your home in the heart of Colombia's legendary Coffee Region. This brand-new two-story house sits strategically on the Panamerican Highway in Dosquebradas, Risaralda — the road that connects the entire country. Zero city traffic. Everything within easy reach. The entire Coffee Triangle at your doorstep. You are not just booking a house. You are booking a base camp for the best version of a Colombian adventure.
THE HOUSE Nido del Bosque is a completely new construction — every corner designed with care, decorated with personality, and maintained to the highest standard. Two full floors of comfort, privacy and space for up to 6 guests. A house that smells new, feels like home, and sits in one of the most beautiful regions on earth. Four bedrooms await you: — 2 large master bedrooms with orthopedic double beds and fresh linens — 2 cozy single bedrooms, perfect for kids or additional guests — All rooms feature mosquito screens on every window for uninterrupted rest Two bathrooms: — 1 full bathroom on the second floor with hot water shower and hair dryer — 1 social bathroom on the first floor Every bed is made with impeccable linens. Every pillow chosen for real comfort. Every mattress orthopedic — because good sleep is non-negotiable. You will wake up rested, ready, and surrounded by the sounds of birds and mountain air coming through the window.
THE COFFEE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME This is where Nido del Bosque becomes something else entirely. From our own 8 hectares of land, we grow one of the finest single-origin beans in all of Colombia — cultivated at 1,800 meters above sea level, rated 9.5 out of 10 by professional tasters, and exported to the United States as a luxury product. When you arrive, that coffee is waiting for you under the kitchen counter. Grind it yourself with the manual grinder, brew it in the French press, and let the most authentic aroma of the Coffee Region fill the house. This is not a coffee shop experience. This is the real thing, straight from the source, in the middle of a neighborhood where coffee trees grow right across the street — a living reminder of exactly where you are.
THE KITCHEN Built for people who actually cook — and for people who just want the perfect cup. Fully equipped for 6 guests: — Airfryer — French press and manual coffee grinder — Toaster — Complete cookware, dishes and utensils — Full refrigerator And when you step outside? The best homemade empanadas in the neighborhood are two blocks away, hand-crafted by Dona Cielo, a local legend. Two more blocks and you find Jeniffer's chorizos — the kind people drive across the city for. Fresh trout from cold mountain rivers. Arepas con hogao straight off a wood fire. Bandeja paisa that fuels a full day of exploration. The Coffee Region feeds you well — and feeds you honestly.
WORK FROM PARADISE Nido del Bosque is a digital nomad's dream. — 50 Mbps high-speed WiFi throughout the house — Dedicated ergonomic workspace with comfortable chair — Quiet residential neighborhood — no street noise, no interruptions — Private garage so your rental car stays safe Work in the morning. Explore the Coffee Region in the afternoon. Return to silence, great coffee, and mountain air in the evening. The temperature here hovers between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius almost every single day of the year — no air conditioning needed, no heavy coats required. Mornings are crisp. Afternoons are golden. Evenings cool down just enough to sleep with the window open. Perfect — every single day.
YOUR ARRIVAL — COMPLETELY ON YOUR TERMS No check-in lines. No waiting around. No coordination headaches. Nido del Bosque features a fully autonomous lockbox entry system — your access code arrives before your flight lands and the house is ready whenever you decide to show up. 3am arrival after a long journey? No problem. Spontaneous road trip from Bogota? Come whenever you want. Prefer a personal welcome? Thor, your host, speaks fluent English and Spanish and will personally greet you, show you around, and hand you his best local tips — the waterfall nobody knows about yet, the Sunday market, the road that avoids the crowds, the restaurant that will change how you think about Colombian food forever. You decide.
SAFETY AND SECURITY Your peace of mind is our priority: — Smoke detector installed — Outdoor security cameras monitoring the perimeter — Reinforced window bars and main entrance door — Safe, quiet residential neighborhood where neighbors have lived for decades — Mosquito screens on all windows
PET FRIENDLY Your furry travel companion is welcome. We know pets are family. One pet per stay — dogs or cats under 25kg.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND LANDSCAPE Step outside and breathe. The air is different here. Cleaner. Cooler. The kind of air that makes you slow down without even trying. Our street is quiet, residential and safe. Birds sing every morning. A river runs nearby. Coffee trees grow across the street. The Eje Cafetero sits between 1,200 and 1,800 meters above sea level — high enough to keep temperatures mild year-round, lush enough to stay impossibly green and alive. Waking up to mountains covered in coffee trees, watching mist roll through the valley at dawn — this is not a postcard. This is your backyard. And the people. Colombians from the Coffee Region — known as paisas — are widely considered the friendliest people in the country. Strangers greet you. Neighbors wave. There is a generosity of spirit here that is difficult to describe and impossible to forget.
