At this peaceful and centrally located wooded location you can hike or bike the Van Buren Trail, explore the 20 wooded acres, and relax around the fire. ENJOY the peace and quiet of nature. Rental includes THE ENTIRE RESORT with 2 separate cabins and separate bath building with 2 full bathrooms in the building. Each cabin has a mini-split heat and A/C unit, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Pet-friendly with outdoor gas grill, bonfire ring, and outdoor dining. Great getaway into nature!


INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

We have a local property manager that lives in the area and is available to address any issues and answer any questions that may arise.


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The property is located in a rural area outside of Hartford, Michigan, that consists primarily of farms, farmland, and forests. The 14-mile Van Buren Trail runs directly through the property. The trail is great for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and exploring.


ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire property, except for the large storage barn, which is locked off for owner storage.


THE SPACE:

There is space for tents and an electric only camp site. Please note that pricing is based upon the number of guests, so please make certain that the correct number of guests are included on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.


TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own means of transportation.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) GATED ENTRANCE: There is a gated entrance to the property that is locked. Guests are provided with the code for the key safe to unlock the gate. Guests can lock the gate at night for security if they wish.

2) NO LOCKS ON CABIN DOORS: Please note that, given the seclusion of the property, there are no locks on the cabin doors, but the gated entrance to the property can be locked by guests for security purposes if they wish.

3) STORAGE BARN: Please note that the large storage barn on the property is locked off and is not available for guest usage.

4) FIREWOOD: Firewood is available for purchase at the property.

5) PET POLICY: Up to 3 dogs are permitted at the property. More than 3 dogs is prohbited and any kind of pet other than dogs is also prohibited. If bringing 1 to 3 dogs, please make certain that they are included on the reservation so the pet fee is appropriately applied.

6) SLEEPING CAPACITY: Please note that there is only sleeping capacity in the cabins for up to 6 adults. Up to 20 guests are permitted though, but additional guests must bring their own tents and bedding for sleeping.

7) PROPERTY SIZE: The property consists of 20 private acres, with the Van Buren Trail running right through the property. Guests are very welcome to use the Van Buren Trail for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

8) HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING: Each cabin has its own heat and air conditioning provided via a mini-split heat and A/C unit.

9) PRICING: Pricing is based upon the number of guests with a nightly fee added for each additional guest after the first 2 guests. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is included on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

10) NO WI-FI OR TELEVISION: Please note that there is neither Wi-Fi nor televisions at the property.

11) NO FIREWORKS: Please note that fireworks are strictly prohibited at the property.

12) EXTERIOR CAMERAS: Please note that there are exterior cameras at the property. There are no interior cameras though.
