It’s what you expect for a Hyatt, it’s decent but not amazing. Overpriced but you’re paying for being downtown. Clean yes, but there was a little bit of mold in the shower, not a lot, but some. The desk and valet staff were courteous.I’m giving 4 stars because the “Do Not Disturb” sign was removed from my room and housekeeping went in anyways when I specifically asked them not to. I was only there for a weekend and had clothes, shoes, makeup, etc all over the place. Upon arriving Friday night, I put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door. Saturday morning when I was leaving, the sign was gone. Not on the floor like it fell, gone like taken off. The housekeeper was in the hallway so I approached her, told her the sign had been taken off my door and to please skip my room. She didn’t speak any English and used her phone to translate with me. That’s fine, I understand language barriers. I got my message across and she showed me her clipboard of rooms to clean & that mine wasn’t on it; so I left thinking we had it sorted. When I came back later, my room had been cleaned. I appreciate that of course, and nothing was missing - but I was uncomfortable that my wishes were ignored. I used the sign that hotels literally give you to put on the door to request privacy, it was taken, and even after a verbal request, my room was still entered. The next day my room was cleaned again. It may be policy but why give a sign then take it? Based upon my discomfort I would not stay there again.
