Of all our villa properties, this is one we suggest to those looking for absolute seclusion. You’re unlikely to see anyone, unless, of course, you take a 15-minute drive to the outstandingly attractive town of Orvieto, perched on the side of a cliff.



Adding to the charm is Villa Elmo’s backstory: what was once a ruin, was lovingly restored by the current owners into a space that reflects the unvarnished elegance of the Umbrian countryside: stone walls, timber-frame roofing and natural terracotta tiles.



A generous living and dining area comes with its own fireplace, country-style kitchen and yoga room. The garden – filled with mature olive trees – surrounds the property and leads you to a magnificent L-shaped swimming pool, with views across the valley.
