The location is ideal for fishing and water recreation. The Triboji boat ramp and beach are .3 of a mile from the cottage. There is adequate off street parking to accommodate 2 - 3 cars in the driveway and parking in front of the house for a vehicle with a boat trailer.

Okoboji View and Indian Hills golf courses are within 2 miles of the cottage and Brooks Golf Course and Emerald Hills Golf Club are less than 10 miles away.
Arnold’s Park Amusement Park and Pirates Cove Mini-golf are a convenient 7 miles from the door of the cottage. The cottage is located on the expansive Dickinson County Bike Trail with connections to Lake Park, Spirit Lake, Arnolds Park, Milford, and Spencer. The rider experiences varying terrain and scenery, often riding along the shore of beautiful Lake Okoboji. There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities accessible from the bike trail.
