Welcome to the cottage on West Main. Nestled between Hanks Coffee Shop and Halfway Market, this 3 bed 2 bath home is steps from the best Franklin has to offer. With 4 restaurants within walking distance and a brief 1.3 miles from charming historic downtown, this can be a destination requiring minimal travel. Yet still only 18 miles from downtown Nashville. Come enjoy the small town feel of west main with a fire in the fenced yard or use it as a launching pad to explore Franklin and Nashville.

This beautiful home features three cozy bedrooms, including a king, queen, and full bed, perfect for a restful night. Guests can unwind in the pleasant living room, which offers a comfortable sofa bed for extra sleeping space. With two bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers, getting ready is a breeze. The house stays comfortable year-round thanks to heating and air conditioning. Dogs are permitted on the property for an additional $100 fee. Kick back, relax, and enjoy everything Franklin and our marvelous house has to offer.

Loved our stay. The store next door was closed(temporarily I think) and we didn't find the grill. Other than that, it was perfect.

We had some bumps when we checked in as the AC wasn't working (we were able to reset), but the breaker for the hallway lights and both bathroom lights was not only tripped but nonfunctional. We had to use our phone flashlights to use one of the bathrooms while the other bathroom had a window that brought in light during the day. The cons: House is right off a busy road. You will hear ALL street noise in the living room and two front bedrooms. Also, the bedrooms do have blinds, but they are not blackout ones and neither are the curtains. So if you wake up due to light, you will be up early. The kitchen is not for cooking - there are no nonstick frying pans making eggs and pancakes impossible and all of the serving spoons are wood and no ice cream scooper. None of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and there is little to no counter space in bathrooms and limited in kitchen (plenty of room for a portable island). Three houses are under construction in the back, which work started by 7:30 a.m. on weekday. The back entrance did not have a rug coming into dining room and it was pouring when we arrived. In addition, the back door is very old and not sealed well with gaps.The pros: All the bedrooms are spacious, kitchen appliances are new with icemaker and water dispenser and it was very clean. The back yard is large and they have a gate so you can park two cars behind it. The beds are comfortable although starting to feel the wear and there are plenty of towels.

I appreciate your feedback Sharon. Thank you for being so helpful with the breakers after the power outage from the thunderstorm, I know that that made things a bit inconvenient. I wish we could have gotten the bathroom lights working before your stay ended but the holiday made that tricky. I am improving the kitchen and back door to make things better. Renovated small home in Franklin. Convenient location for what we needed as we were in town to attend a family member's wedding. Was clean enough and all necessities provided. Everything as pictured. Something I didn't notice that I wish I had was the lack of much vanity space in the 2 bathrooms. It made it difficult to get ready with limited counter space. Also, this could happen anywhere but the driveway has a large tree over it and birds were roosting in the tree and covered my car with poop. We learned our lesson and did not park under the tree on the 2nd night. Enjoyed walking to the nearby coffee shop, Hanks. But there is not a sidewalk, so you have to walk in the grass. The house is located on a main road so there was some road noise/ sirens and traffic that could be heard in the home and did keep my 10y old awake. Also, if you have kids pack a little night light. There were not any provided. My only issue was there is a pet fee that was not outlined in the listing. It did not state anywhere what the pet fee was. I mistakenly booked quickly without marking our dog on the reservation. When I realized my mistake I contacted the host to notify and he promptly sent me a bill for 176. Just wish this had been disclosed in the listing. And not really sure what the pet fee covered as they did not provide any dog bowls/dog bed or other amenities that are often provided when you have a pet fee.
