Balcones del Atlantico is a great Project with one of the best beaches in the area of Las Terrenas , restaurants and a lot of activities for all the family members.

Las Terrenas town is near everywhere, you can find many and excellent International cuisine restaurants, focus in french, italian and dominican cousin. There are many public beaches nearby, like Portillo Beach, Playa Bonita Beach, Coson Beach, Las Ballenas Beach. And only 30 minutes far from Samana town, when you can visit Cayo Levantado Beach, Rincon Beach, Las Galeras Beach.

In Las Terrenas you can find supermarkets, pharmacies, and rental cars and fourwheels.

For ecoturism we recommend Salto del Limon, expectacular waterfall, Los Haitises, Zipline in El Valle, Samana.

Maybe if you came in february you have the lucky to see humpback whales.

To get to Las Terrenas you have different option of transportation:
1.) Use your own vehicle
2.) Rent a Car in any of the local airports .
3.) Taking a Bus from Santo Domingo to get to Las Terrenas Town and after that a Taxi or MotoTaxi to the Balcones del Atlantico .

After you are in las Terrenas you can use your own vehicle to visit all the nice beaches and attractions of the surroundings or you can also hire a driver , rent an Offroad Atv or motorcycle that is very popular or simply take a mototaxi to enjoy more of our local transportation culture.
