No Parties or Events
Parties and events are not permitted under any circumstances. Violations may result in immediate removal from the property, a $1,000 penalty, and additional charges.
Cancellations
The applicable cancellation policy will be enforced. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
Minimum Booking Age
The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. Exceptions may be considered with additional requirements.
Registered Guests Only
Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. Undisclosed guests may result in fines.
No Smoking Indoors
Smoking inside the home is strictly prohibited. Violations incur a $1,500 fee plus ozone treatment costs and any associated lost revenue.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Noise complaints or violations may result in a fine equal to one night`s stay.
Check-Out Time
Standard check-out is 10:00 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs may result in extra charges and possible removal from the property.
No Pets Allowed
Pets are not permitted on the property at any time.
Stairs
Stairs are required for entry and full access and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.
Exterior Security Cameras
The property has four exterior security cameras that face outward and record video continuously.
Road Safety
Please drive slowly and avoid speeding on the road leading to the house to help keep the area safe for neighbors and wildlife.
Fire Safety
Due to high winds currently in Alabama and an active burn ordinance, please do not start any fires at the property.
Septic System
The home is on a septic system. Please do not flush feminine products or any non-toilet paper items, as this can cause damage to the system.
Kitchen Appliances
Please do not place metal-rimmed plates in the microwave, as they can cause sparks and damage the appliance.
Furniture & Dock
Please do not move furniture and respect the home’s layout. Chairs and other furniture should not be brought onto the dock.
Kayaks
Two kayaks are available for guest use and are located in the shed. Please note that life preservers are not provided, so guests should bring their own.
Cell Service & Landline Phone
Cell phone signal is poor at the property, and AT&T is the only carrier known to work reliably in the area. We recommend connecting your phone to the home’s Wi-Fi to make calls and send text messages. A landline phone is also available at the home, however, international calls are not permitted.
Trash
Garbage cans are located at the end of Island Road across from the bridge. Please place all garbage inside the cans labeled 1930. Do not leave trash on top of the cans, as it will not be picked up.
