Situated directly on Lake Mitchell with gorgeous views, you’ll love relaxing on the dock watching the sun set every evening. Recently remodeled with all new beds and fresh paint for carefree living. Whether you are here for a family get-away or lake vacation, the house is set up for the best of all worlds!
Jump right in the lake from our dock! Our home is close to Lay Lake Dam, so the current can be swift if the turbines are on. Check the turbine schedule online. We do not provide life vests or floats, but recommend them if you decide to swim.
This property was built in the 1960's and has recently been reimagined and brought back to life with a complete remodel both inside and out. Please note that with a house this age you’ll find floors may be uneven in places, but of course easy to walk on. While guests find the charm in this, we want you to know before you book!
If you are looking for a remote, cozy home with direct lake access, this is it.
▶Guests must agree to read, understand and adhere to the Liability Waiver at the end of the listing Description
▶ For safety and security, all entrances are monitored by security cameras. Footage may be used to enforce and verify compliance with rental policies.
*1 doorbell camera at the entrance of the home, 1 outdoor camera facing the driveway, and 1 outdoor camera facing the backyard. All devices are ON and recording during the reservation.
▶ No Wifi! Unplug, relax, disconnect with the phone and connect with your people.
▶ The parking area in the front of the home can hold up to three vehicles.
▶ Kitchen features- all brand new fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig & coffee maker, toaster, blender, and wine cooler. Fully stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, strainers, plates, bowls, glasses and pretty much anything you would need to make a full meal to enjoy!
▶ We provide coffee, sugar, K-cups, and creamer for you!
▶ Cleaning- brand new washer and dryer, 2 paper towel rolls, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, iron and ironing board, vacuum, broom and general cleaning supplies.
▶ BBQ grill that is ran on charcoal. We do not provide charcoal.
▶ Pack & Play is available if needed- please bring your own sheet for the pack and play!
HOUSE RULES:
- WE ARE A SMOKE FREE PROPERTY.
- No parties, events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays, get-togethers, or hangouts.
- No more guests than stated in your reservation and no unapproved visitors.
- No loud music or disturbances, especially noise past 10pm. Quiet time in our neighborhood begins at 10pm and ends at 7am.
- No weapons allowed anywhere on the property.
- We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind.
Pet friendly! *DOGS ONLY, MUST AQUIRE APPROVAL IN ADVANCE. Under 50 lbs, max of 2 dogs. Pet fee of $130 per pet will be charged after the reservation is made.
We have a few rules we asks guests with pets to follow:
- Only well behaved, house trained dogs allowed.
- Keep your dog on a leash at all times when outside.
- Clean up after your dog- no one likes to step in poo.
- No pets on the furniture. Please use a dog bed or crate. We do not provide dog beds or crates.
- Do not leave your dog left unattended in the rental for more than an hour or two.
- No aggressive or loud dogs are permitted. Disruptive barking and/or aggressive dogs will be asked to leave and their owners will not be refunded money for the reservation.
- There is a $250 minimum charge for animal damages/traces left behind in or outside the home.
- The guest will assume full responsibility for their pet. If your pet causes any injury or harm to other people or the property, you will be 100% liable for any necessary treatment, care, or repair.
LIABILITY WAIVER:
You understand that swimming use of the dock is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming and use of the dock. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and use of the dock and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming and use of the dock present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming that has health risks, or if a person swims or uses the dock while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, or use of the dock. All guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between VRBO Guests and VRBO Host.
