We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We market in our “about this property” section that it is family friendly with a playground, weekend bounce house hours, and tubing company on site. So that renters are aware of the potential noise. It also mentions that weekdays are much quieter. The description also states it has 1 queen short bed. Which I assume the renters didn’t notice or understand what that meant. We were not trying to hide the fact the queen is shorter than a normal queen The welcome text messages sent to the renter also mentions the general store opens at 10am and no one was on the property before 10am. So we do try to give morning privacy. I did (female) go to the shipping container 3 times to get stock after 1030. The container opening is perpendicular to the front of the camper. The welcome /before arriving texts also mentions the condiments are there to use and are dated, which was 5/2026. The prior guest did leave 3 Gatorade’s in the fridge and 3 bags of frozen vegetables in the freezer, which I stated in text conversation at 425pm could be thrown away. There were specific instructions about firewood to use. We set the guest firewood under the camper to ensure it is dry for their use. Guest went to the large firewood pile and used that firewood and made their own large pile of firewood I assume for future use. Guests had already decided to leave when they stripped the bed. After guest left I immediately went by to inspect. There were 2 clean children’s socks that they found. They must have been caught up in a corner of the fitted sheet. The rules say no smoking, but I now realize I need to include candles as well. The guestS left one behind. We do have flameless candles in the camper, but we do not want open flames in the camper. Went I went to inspect the camper there were not gnats swarming. The tubing hub on location did not have gnats in it either on the day of rental. At 8pm the first night I did send a checking in text which the guests replied back- we’re doing good. Enjoying the fire pit :) thanks for checking in. At that point almost 4 hours after check in there was no mention of gnats or musty smell. I so sorry this did not match up to their expected plans.
