Pros: We have been staying in "LA FAROLA" the 2 first week of September 2017. This was a very pleasant and wonderful stay, the location is great, quiet and you did not notice the neighbors or any traffic, because the house is located and the end of a small blind road on a hill outside Mijas. The house is brilliant, nicely decorated, with sufficient space for 6 persons. Unfortunately; there is no air condition, which in our view is needed when the temperature hits higher end of 20, or even 30+. Should we make any indoor complains or recommendation, it would to have sofa arrangement replaced, it is old, and it has seen better days. Outdoor area, fantastic, brilliant view to the sea coast line and Fuengirola. The house has many sitting areas, several terraces, even with a balcony (East) with direct access to the kitchen. It is easy for you to find a sunny spot from early morning till late evening. Should the sun be too much, it is also easy for you find shelter. Swimming pool and the jacuzzi is great. The house is nicely decorated with artworks in all rooms, and together with the many outside light decoration you will for sure find the outdoor area very cozy. The garden is very well kept and there are many corners with flowers and artworks. Lot of palms and pine trees makes LA FAROLA a wonderful place to stay.

Pros: My partner and I stayed here for two weeks with another couple. It’s a stunning location for a holiday. The property has a magnificent view over Fuengirola and then out to sea. Although the villa has several other properties in very close proximity you don’t feel overlooked. You do, however, need to be mindful of noise levels because of the closeness of the other villas. The pool is a constant depth at every point of about 4 feet and stays nice and warm all day. The pool tiles around the top edge are barely affixed and several are missing so you do have to be careful more don’t fall off if you’re holding onto the side. The kitchen is very well equipped (except there is no kettle). None of the equipment is new but it’s all functional. There is a gas hob and electric oven. Unless you have a designated driver, expect to cook as the property is not in walking distance of the town or restaurants. (Supermarkets and the town of Mijas Pueblo are only a short drive. The town is well worth visiting). There is a great BBQ outside but none of the grills are the right size so you have to be creative building a solution for cooking on it. There are lots of great choices for dining areas at the villa depending on your choice of view or sun/shade. The jacuzzi is a nice idea but it didn’t work very well whilst we were there. It would switch itself on randomly or short out the mains for the property next door or not switch off. It only fitted two people so, after a few failed attempts, we didn’t really use it. There is plenty of seating and shade by the pool. There a quite a few steps up to the property from the road and there are a couple of sheer drops near the pool so it’s probably not ideal for the very young or the very elderly. There is an aircon unit in the dining area by the kitchen. The bedrooms do not have aircon but the ceiling fans do a more than adequate job at night. The master bedroom has an amazing shower that has jets coming out of the walls as well as the shower head. It’s solar heating for the water so there is a limited supply of hot water (we spaced our showers out across the day) The wifi was very reliable and consistent and never posed any problems. We never met the owners but they seemed very easy to deal with and communication was good. Despite a few minor issues mentioned above, we would thoroughly recommend staying at La Farola. It’s a fantastic escape and the you never get bored of the view.

Villa situé d'ans un quartier calme et agréable. Accès aux voies rapides à 2 Km ce qui est parfait pour visiter la region.La Villa aurait besoin, malgré tout, de renouveler son électroménager et d'en rajouter (pas de cafetiere par ex.) et besoin de quelques rénovations a l'extérieur notamment la piscine et le carrelage qui se degradent. La vue depuis la villa sur la ville de Fuengirola et la méditerranée est magnifique. Nous avons passé malgré tout de bonnes vacances dans ce lieu.
