The Space:

This lovely first-floor condo is nestled among the beautiful live oaks and palmettos in the picturesque Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. The back deck offers a front-row seat on the Plantation Course's 18th tee box and fairway, perfect for taking in the abundant wildlife like herons, egrets, turtles, and more. This condo is just what you need for an unforgettable getaway to unwind and experience the kind of relaxation that can only be found on Edisto Beach. Enjoy one of Wyndham's three pools, playground, and fitness center at an additional fee.



Things to Know

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.

Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.

All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor Policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

This vacation rental is located inside of the Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. Boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RV's, and golf carts are not allowed inside of the resort.

Wyndham amenities are available for purchase for an additional fee from the Wyndham Cafe but there is NO GUARANTEE due to limited passes per day. Wyndham Amenities are shared pools, tennis, gym fitness room, mini golf, playground, and Beach Cabana.

Quaint and quiet

We had a great time. Spent most of our short stay at the beach but the condo was perfect for us. Just enough room for the 2 of us and our dog. The golf course view was great and since we were on the “first floor” it was convenient for taking the dog out.

Nice property

Overall the property was great! The front door lock was hard to get the key just right to lock it and the floor needs to be cleaned and there was one drawer in the kitchen that wouldn’t stay closed but that was it. Everything else was great!

Great location

This is the perfect place for a couple! It was a tad tight for our family of four but it was completely doable. Really surprised by the quality of kitchen ware. Really nice pots and dishes! We cooked almost every night. Parking is a little tight if you have bigger suv. All in an all, this is such a nice condo!

Great stay!

We have been coming to Edisto for years. This was a last minute trip but was an amazing one none the less. The condo was perfect for us! Everything was beautifully decorated, centrally located and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was ridiculous but not the owners fault…just others staying being inconsiderate with parking. We also loved watching the golfers and deer from the fabukous deck every evening. We will definitely be staying again!!

Very cozy and comfortable

The owners of this one did a really good job with decorating and placement of things. The bed is a little stiff, which is fine with us, but maybe too hard for some. We definitely will check this place out the next time we come down to see if it’s available to rent. Guest services at Vacasa we’re very polite and fun to talk to. I wish we could’ve checked in about two hours earlier as we got into town a little earlier than expected and had to just kill time.

Nice, clean

The condo was very nice, the grounds are lovely. It has a well equipped kitchen and was very clean. Restaurants and the beach are close by and easy to get to. If using the resort amenities is important to you I highly recommend checking to see what the fees are before booking. I didn’t inquire until I arrived and found them to be very high, which was disappointing. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Our stay was good. Villa was very nice.

Everything was good with one problem. Arrival time after hours and guard at Wyndham instructed no entry without pass. Our information had no say about having one. Therefore had to go to check in desk and they gave us one however found out the guard at gate was to issue us one.

Kim, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable stay at Driftwood Villa 280 on Edisto Beach. We are sorry to hear about any confusion at the resort's guard gate upon your arrival. Our company is not affiliated with the POA that employs the gate guards nor are we affiliated with the Wyndham Timeshare units that are to check-in/receive information at the office located adjacent to the guard gate. Sometimes, employees that are new to the POA guard gate staff can confuse guests of the privately owned homes/condo (managed by Atwood and other agencies here on the island) with the timeshare units which causes the miscommunication. Though the resort has a guard gate, it is completely open to the public as it contains a public restaurant and golf course. In each check-in packet, we include a map with a highlighted route directly to the rental(s) (GoogleMaps doesn't always work well due to our remote location) as well as instructions on obtaining the parking pass at the guard gate by supplying the guard with the address of your rental(s) within the resort. Should any check-in/out information be unclear please don't hesitate to contact our 24 hour call line and we will be happy to assist. We would love to be your host on Edisto during any season! Quiet Beach Week at Edisto

The property was much nicer in person then the photos show. Very quiet, comfortable condo, and a well stocked, accessible kitchen perfect for 2 and our little dog. Large kitchen sink with garbage disposal, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space for a week of groceries. Cooked breakfast, and dinner most nights with the pots and utensils supplied in the condo. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, as the shower curtain liner needed changing. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it did the job for the week just fine. Other then the shower curtain, we were very pleased with our little condo escape and had a wonderful family vacation at our favorite sleepy beach; Edisto! Cannot wait to do it again next year!
