Gigantic house right on the river

This house has everything a family could want for a riverside getaway on the mountain. It's just perfect in every way. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, there's seating for everyone, and the multilevel design means everyone can spread out and have space to relax or play.

Great mountain cabin

Loved this cabin. Very spacious for two families. The tweens loved the retro video games, the packed game closet and the giant bean bag chairs. Very convenient to have two bathrooms. Enjoyed the open concept and the well-stocked kitchen. Great location for a ski trip.

Stellar location in the woods. Can hear the rushing creek. Lots of little trails to explore right from the front door, close to other Mt hood trails. Really comfortable home, with a unique and fun layout. Can't wait for our next visit!

Located at the end of a quiet neighbourhood, with a “strict HOA” enforced set of rules. We had some issues with the hot tub and due to being here during a holiday, the host took 24 hours to get back to us on it. Which for us was a whole day of our trip. The hot tub definitely wasn’t clean before we got there, like didn’t smell of clorine clean and had scum. And the water was low.The overall house is really nice and cozy and comfortable. The woods are beautiful. The heat resetting to 50 at night is horrible. And it felt a little more like staying in a cabin with bedding and towels, rather than say a hotel. There was just a lack of those amenities and extra touches.

The Burrow - a great place to nestle in or basecamp from

The home is clearly loved by its owners. I thank you for sharing it. I hope to make another stay. I was sad to have to leave. Thank you for the artworks, the book and games selection, the well appointed kitchen. Loved the forest surroundings with the river gurgling aloud and the quiet neighborhood -- a balm to my city-life eardrums.

Nice location

More like 3.5 stars due to issues we encountered during our stay, but this house is in a really nice location close to the river. The house was clean and the games and kids stuff was nice for toddlers. Roku was not usable and the heat wasn't fully working throughout our stay, and the owners weren't reachable so it wasn't ideal, but it was fine for a long weekend. Also the upstairs bedroom is not a fully closed off room so you can hear everything going on in the house and vice versa.

wintertime in paradise

A lovely modern style home facing the woods in a peaceful quiet nook of Zigzag. The kitchen dining and living space shares open walls and windows gazing out into the trees. A lovely place to get away from busyness or noisyness (or both :) and let the easy quiet surrounding nature seep into dusty corners of the mind.

Such a fun getaway!

I love the Harry Potter theme and all of the big windows. It was nice to sit around the fire and play games. Although we brought our own, there was a big cabinet full of games to play. There was also an art bin for kiddos. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The beds and seating were comfortable throughout the house. I can't wait to visit this home again.

Beautiful location

Wonderful and quiet location. You can hear the river, explore the trails (lots of different access points to the river), and walk to the community swimming pool. Unfortunately when we arrived all the outside garbage cans were overflowing and getting strewn around by critters. The garbage wasn't collected for three days so this was quite inconvenient — picking up the garbage of other guests wasn't in our vacation plans! The front door lock is also a bit finicky with the provided key — it needs lots of jiggling to work (we almost had to call Vacasa as we were convinced the wrong key was in the lockbox)! Future guests may also want to take their own dishwasher detergent — we booked a four-night stay (4 adults, 3 children) and only two dishwasher detergent tablets were provided. Other than these inconveniences we had a wonderful time. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked! The pack and play and high chair were appreciated! We would definitely come back again!

Hi, Martin! We're glad you stayed with us and apologize for the trash issue. Trash service is scheduled weekly, but we can pick-up trash at our guest's request when ended. The key was cut a little wonky, but it works fine with a little wiggle. Thank you!

Amazing place!
