Enjoy the View



The Space:

Soak up the spectacular 180-degree view where the Pacific Ocean meets the Alsea Bay and bridge as you slip into the coastal mindset here in Waldport! In addition to the water views, an abundance of wildlife will accompany you on this vacation, so bring your own binoculars (BYOB) and look closely! You may see seals, bald eagles (varying ages) in trees, osprey, herons, seagulls, cormorants, vultures, and pigeon guillemots. After fun days of exploring the local shops in town or walking along the sand nearby, kick back in the living room as the chef of the group whips up something tasty in the full kitchen. There is plenty of fun to be had with loved ones with the TV, free WiFi, and dining table that is perfect for hosting game nights. There is one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs, and two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs, allowing everyone to experience convenience and comfort throughout their stay.

We bought a broom and dust pan as well as Swiffer cleaning pads.We cleaned a ton of cobwebs off the outside entry way and sweptthe front porch area. We wished the front windows of the home had been cleaned as to enjoy the view and to take photo's etc.Other than those issues everything else was very clean.

Windows had amazing views, but were dirty. Outside trash was full, so we had to pile it up in the house. Guests are instructed to run the dishwasher before leaving, but management apparently does not inspect these afterwards. We found a dirty pot in the cupboard (and needed to use it). Thankfully, SOS pads were under the sink. The empty promise of shampoo and conditioner is attached to the shower wall, void of contents. Carpet is worn bare, in places. The space is a musty hodgepodge of unrelated furnishings, some quite worn and dirty. Weeks in advance, we sent a message via the as automated system that was never replied to. Would not recommend this agency.

The views are worth it all! The property could use TLC. The furniture was very stained and worn, but again you cannot beat the views. My family and I tried to leave the property even better than how it was left for us. I hope the next guest can rest assured that we wiped down some extra surfaces and got all the sand out. Overall our stay was good but with a slightly cleaner property it would have been excellent! I would still recommend.
