Clean and comfortable property, provided exactly what they promised and served as a great base for our holiday skiing trip. Having multiple living areas to hang out in was fun and we appreciated the garage area for our ski equipment. Wish I could be there in the summer time to enjoy the deck and beautiful forest! Thanks!

Early Season Golf Get-A-Way

This was a great place to stay during our multi-day golf trip to the Truckee area. It was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities you needed for an enjoyable stay. Close enough to downtown Truckee and the area golf courses but a quiet neighborhood. We will be booking this property again.

Fun time with our daughter who works in the area. House was well kept, slightly older style with a cabin feel. Beautiful trees out the back. Note that the pool and hot tub are at the shared neighborhood recreation center a good drive from the property.

Great house

The house was excellent - clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We did run into an issue with the dashwasher not working, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will plan to stay here again if we're able.

Wonderful Stay

The home was very clean. Nicely decorated mountain cabin without being overly done. My sister and I went with our kids for some bonding time and it was fabulous. There is a lot to do and access and the best of Tahoe is less than an hour away. We are already trying to figure out when we will go back. The home is very well stocked with all the things you need to cook and clean. Lots of games, nice views, peaceful surroundings.

My family had a nice stay at the Falcon Point Pines house. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The beds were comfy and the different spaces were nice. The only draw back was the primary bath could use an update. But over all it was very clean and nice. Thanks for a fun time!

Friends trip out West

We enjoyed our stay. It was difficult at times to open and lock the door. We needed 2 people . One to hold the door to latch the other to press code. Thank you for providing us a place to rest our heads, enjoy meals together and enjoy God’s beautiful creations in the state of California.

Spacious and comfortable

This is our 2nd year renting this property for a girls trip. Spacious and comfortable for 5 women. We will stay again. There were a couple of issues on check in that were addressed right away, the property manager was very responsive. They didn’t have any dish soap (only dishwasher soap) which I think was an oversight but other than that the house is very well appointed and the kitchen was stocked with spices, olive oil, and just about any kind of utensil you could imagine. Plenty of fans, extra linens, etc. Easy check out too.

Perfect for kids and family

This home is as close to perfect as a rental home can be. Flawlessly decorated and well equipped with all you can ever need in a kitchen. A game room off of the great room with play station controllers for the tv was a big hit ( and almost sound proof. ) Great sled hill outside the fron door kept the kids going until dark. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful family vacation home!

We love Truckee and planned a last minute vacation on the fly. We were so happy to find this home that was so beautiful and wonderful inside and out. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and nespresso pods, along with a clean and tidy house that literally has everything! Honestly, EVERYTHING!!!!!! You need holiday dishes? You need sandwich bags? You need extra beach towels or chairs? Literally this house has it all. Our family loved the game room and we played a game every evening. I thought not having a tv in the main living area would suck, but I loved it!! We all relaxed, laid low and enjoyed the great out doors. I love that you can use/access the garage as it was a place to store everything from golf clubs to extra drinks and beach gear. The kids loved having a little space away from everyone with a game room, and extra living space in the loft. Beds, pillows, bedding was super comfortable and we all had space to spare. The only issue that we had was the microwave didn’t work, but low and behold there was an extra one in the garage. Everything was wonderful! Location great, tons of amenities, super comfortable, and honestly it just made everything wonderful! Ps- thank you for the fans in each room. We packed box fans since our last stays in Truckee have been hot in the summer months. It’s always a huge plus!

Family ski house

The house is as advertised. It was clean upon arrival. The kitchen has what you need to make family dinner - it’s a bit overwhelming in terms of the amount of dishes/stuff but the essentials (and more) are all there including salt/pepper, oil, sugar. The views from the living room are stunning. If you’ve got kids of any age, the best part is the well stocked family game room and videos/dvds in a room visible from the LR with doors that close! The bathrooms were clean but not updated. All in all, an excellent house for a family ski weekend.

This is a very nice property. I am most impressed about a really well equipped kitchen, videos, TV in every room, etc. Several minor issues: (1) only one car can park in a two car garage, (2) no light in the garage, (3) on the second day, the entry code to the door did not work, we had to call the office to use the lock box key. Other than these, everything else are super. I would consider picking this particular property next time I to go Tahoe.

Lovely Tahoe Donner house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was lovely - nicely laid out, very clean, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We appreciated that the house was kid friendly, with games, toys, and a chalkboard available. The location is great - a short drive to the Tahoe Donner ski area and the snow play/sledding area. We hope to return in the future!
