This recently remodeled 3BR/2BA home is nestled in pines and borders acres of open Forest Service land. In close proximity to three ski resorts. Quick access to sledding, snowmobiles, and the Lake Tahoe Golf Course.



The living room welcomes you with modern alpine decor. Relax on two sofas by the wood-burning stove. On snowy nights, make hot cocoa and watch a movie on the 42in TV. The open dining/kitchen area offers a great social area to cook and chat. In the kitchen, natural pinewood cabinetry contrasts with gleaming stainless steel appliances, including a gas range, dishwasher, coffee machine, and wine fridge. Enjoy meals at a four-seat wood table.



The inviting primary bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination and a laundry area with washer/dryer. Upstairs, you will find the second bedroom, outfitted with a queen bed, 31in TV, and private deck access. The kid-friendly third bedroom offers a twin-over-full bunk bed with twin trundle and a Pack 'n Play. The rooms share a guest bathroom with a walk-in shower.



Outdoor adventures await year-round at this woodland home. Arriving in winter? You're within a 40-minute drive of Kirkwood Mountain Resort, and less than 20 minutes from Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe. In warmer months, grab your hiking boots and explore Tahoe beauty along the Rubicon Trail -- accessible from D. L. Bliss State Park (a 30-minute drive), or drive 15 minutes and book a boat tour on the waters of Lake Tahoe.

Fishing enthusiasts are a 12-minute drive from Tahoe Trout Farm, while the fairways of Lake Tahoe Golf course are 4 minutes away. You're also surrounded by a great local dining scene, accessible within a 12-minute drive.



Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

The description of the property, “newly remodeled” is not accurate. The property was old and run down. The couch had a large tear in the fabric and the kitchen chairs were old and sagging. The lighting in the bedroom was poor. There was a large crack in the bathtub. Hair in the shower and nightstand upon check in. I called Vacasa to share my concerns and ask to change properties and never received a call back. I called the next day to follow up and was told they would look into it and follow up. It’s been a week and still no call. Shame on Vacasa

Great location and close to ski resorts

This place was perfect for what we needed. We had a quick weekend trip with family and friends. It had the perfect about of beds for all of us, and it was conveniently located close to the ski resorts. The neighborhood was quiet and tranquil. Definitely would stay again for our next winter ski trip.

House is perfect! Love the location and all of the amenities. Short drive to grocery store and town. Very clean and spacious for all of the family.

Almost everything was good , solid kitchen, comfortable beds and nice location. But the state of all kitchen and living room seating was very poor. It's was iff the original kitchen chairs and living room couches were stolen and replaced with an uncomfortable matching set that was found on the sidewalk and then recovered.

Excellent Location

This was a very good get away - we had a week long working vacation. WiFi was great, and the house is very close to trails that one can mountain bike or run on - which was wonderful. Only issue we had was getting Nest to work - so a couple of nights were excessively hot :) But once we figured it out it was good.

all good except for seating

this place is fine, good beds- good kitchen- but the quality of seating is quite bad. Not dirty per se- but no place to sit comfortably. the kitchen chairs are rickety and old (though recovered) the couches have basically no cushion- so you sink to about 5 inches off the ground.the kind of furniture you'd see on the sidewalk.

Overall happy with stay. Disappointed in a few things. Kitchen had now hand or dry towels for cleaning pots, pans etc.. I had to buy some unfortunately. No sponge was provided to wash dishes?? Had to buy some as well. Nice to haves would be a few more clean towels and wash clothes which would reduce laundry cycles.

Cabin in paradise

Anywhere near Tahoe is beautiful!! Love the quiet neighborhood and the woods next to the house. It needs some clear TLC, peeling paint, and shower along with some issues with the subfloor upstairs. The upstairs bathroom is also a bit cramped for most adults. I mostly used it for a place to sleep so it worked well enough for me

Great place!

Very homey home. This house was very clean and comfortable. Beds were extremely comfortable to the point I’m stopping on the way home and buying the mattress that’s here lol. We were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to get back. Vacasa was super easy and very friendly. Highly recommend them along with house😊 thank you for making my wife’s birthday a special one.

The property is adequate and not too far from town. I didn’t notice that it didn’t have AC when I booked it, but it wasn’t overly uncomfortable with fans.

Very Clean, Recently Re-Modeled Cabin

We were very impressed with the property. Everything except the Dryer functioned flawlessly. Kept very clean, newer appliances, and medium quality wi-fi. It was a summer stay, but it appears well insulated. Would definitely stay again.

Nice little Chalet

We found this Chalet very clean and functional. It was remote, therefore very quiet. Very easy and quick access to restaurants, beaches and trails. We enjoyed staying there and would book it again.

Comfortable, clean, and feels so much like home

This is our first time to stay at a vacation rental and the experience exceeded our expectations. The house was very comfortable, clean, and felt so much like home. It also sits in a quiet neighborhood, which made us feel very safe. The open backyard with lots of trees and snow was a bonus for me as it gave the kids plenty of opportunity to play in the snow and have fun. I would definitely go back and stay at this place again next time.

Great getaway at Tahoe

Nice, newly remodeled, very clean cabin on the outskirts of Tahoe. The kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of space for 5-7 people. Very quiet neighborhood, but yet all the main attractions are within 10-15 minutes drive. Will mark it for our future visits!
