Barndominium River Retreat In the Middle Of Cumberland State Forest

Experience a river retreat at our luxury barndominium in Central Virginia! We are nestled in the heart of our 40 acres parcel with 2 acres of river front access where you can swim, fish or kayak. We are in the middle of Cumberland State Forest. Take a short 10 minute drive to Bear Creek Lake State Park for swimming, hiking, and boating. Our spacious home features 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a steam shower, and soaking tub. Relax in a hammock or enjoy hanging with friends by the camp fire

Our home offers 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths.
Master bedroom and large bath downstairs with an amazing walk in steam shower. Steam shower is an extra fee for guests interested.

The sofa downstairs offers sleeping for 2 guests

Upstairs we have 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a sleeper sofa.

Enjoy the upstairs deck lounge area where you can overlook the creek bottom or sit outside and enjoy a fire on the back patio.

Feel free to bring a bike or enjoy a half mile hike down to our riverfront access. It's a beautiful park like setting where you can fish, swim or even kayak for the adventurous!

Guest access
Guest have full access to the house and land. Feel free to hike around and explore

Other things to note
Small events of 35 guests or less may be considered with a $500 event fee and $500 refundable damage deposit. Events may not exceed a 5-hour time limit, and no more than 11 guests are permitted to sleep in the home with the provided accommodations. Guests wishing to utilize our home for parties/events must sign a contract declaring the type of event being held, the equipment being brought in, event hours, guest count, and agreement to clean up event-related messes and remove event-related trash from the property. Guests who use our home for parties/events may request that we provide a cleanup crew for an extra $400. Please note, this cleanup fee is in addition to the regular turnover fee for our nightly reservations.
