Located near Milton town center, The Spruce Roost is a relaxing one bedroom retreat for travelers. Guests will find a Sleep Number king bed in the bedroom and a cozy living room featuring a queen size murphy bed for two additional guests. The space includes a spa-like bathroom equipped with a tub/shower, hair dryer, towels and toiletries and coffee from Milton Coffee Roastery. This delightful space is within walking distance to Dogfish Head Brewery, Milton Theatre, Memorial Park, fishing on the Broadkill River as well as restaurants and bars. A convenient spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We are a short drive to Lewes, the Lewes Bus Hub, Rehoboth and local beaches. Twenty minutes or less from DE Turf, Sports at the Beach & Sandhill Fields sports complexes. Fifteen minutes from Hopkins Heartland and other wedding venues. The Roost is not handicap accessible, located on 2nd floor up steps, and has off street parking for one vehicle. We look forward to your visit. Reach out for special requests.

Our family had a wonderful time relaxing and recharging at The Spruce Roost. They thought of everything in providing a comfortable home away from home. We stayed for a long weekend while attending a sports at the beach baseball tournament for my son. The property location was very convenient to the fields. It was also walkable to town for dinner, which was great. The rental was extremely clean and the property owners were great. Compared to where our team stayed in a local hotel, I would do this again any day – it was a great price and having the convenience of a kitchen for a quick breakfast or lunch was ideal. Thanks for a great stay. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely rent here again.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Milton, DE! The place was immaculate with beautiful decor and a welcoming vibe. Excellent place to stay in this area. My husband and I were supposed to stay longer but unfortunately had to cut our visit short. This is a great place for a short or extended. Wish we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect for seeing lower Delaware. Space if beautiful. It has everything you need for a perfect weekend or week stay. The bed was plenty comfortable. We had a FABULOUS stay and would absolutely stay again! The host was so kind & a proactive communicator. The space was clean, modern, & so spacious. Check in and out were super easy. The king bed was so comfy - the mattress, pillows, sheets, all of it. We were there in the summer and the AC worked great, nice and cool. Huge walk-in closet in the bedroom. Almost a completely full kitchen (just not an oven, but a stovetop, full fridge/freezer, microwave) with dishes, utensils, etc. etc. Plus plenty of amenities we didn't even have time to get to - games in the closet, local tourist info provided, etc. We just stayed for a few days, but honestly we could have happily stayed longer.

We had a great stay at the Spruce Roost! The place is brand new, very well appointed. It has everything necessary too - toiletries, dishwasher detergent, everything you need for the kitchen, sheets, towels. It was a relief not to have to bring much for the household, and especially not to bring linens with us (as most rentals in this area require). In all the years we have gone to Lewes for summer vacation we have only ever driven by the outskirts of Milton so it was a nice surprise to see that it is a pretty little town with Victorian style houses. There are a few restaurants, really great and cozy coffee house, a brewery. At the edge of town people often leave farm stands in front of their houses to buy fruits and veggies through the honor system. I mostly loved the two lane roads and less traffic going to Lewes, we had to spent very minimal time driving on Coastal highway which was perfect. The owners were very welcoming and even offered to ship my daughter's toy that we left behind. There is no washing machine, but there is a Laundromat 10min drive from the place for washing clothes. We loved staying at the Spruce Roost and would highly recommend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spruce Roost. It was clean charming and well maintained. Everything we needed was provided. It was a perfect size for the two of us. The town of Milton is also charming. Lots to do within an easy walk. We enjoyed antiquing on Main Street. Local library has a shop and everyone was so friendly. We took in a show at Milton Theatre. Topped off one night at Kings Homemade Ice Cream, highly recommend. Dogfish Brewery is a short drive away. We enjoyed a tour and tasting. We spent a day exploring local beaches. Also a short drive away. If you are looking for a getaway vacation I can highly recommend Spuce Roost and Milton.

Everything was brand new and styled beautifully! It was large and comfortable.Very well stocked with essentials including a small sewing kit which I needed!Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning perfect for our needs.We could walk one block to the quaint town with parks, entertainment, shops, coffee, and ice cream! We stayed here for just one night and it was perfect. Great location less than a mile from good restaurants, and of course Dogfishead Brewery. Kitchen layout was nice and open, and had all the amenities. Beds were comfortable. Owners were very quick to respond the one time we had to reach out. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Milton.
