Dieses Haus hat 6BR / 4Bäder. Das Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein Vollbad. Unten hat 2BR mit 2 Einzelbetten in jedem und 1BR mit einem vollen Bett und Bad mit Dusche (keine Wanne). Es gibt auch ein Hauptbad auf dieser Etage. Im Obergeschoss verfügt über 2BR mit jeweils 2 Einzelbetten und einem Hauptbad. Es gibt auch ein Wohnzimmer im Obergeschoss mit Fenstern auf der Vorderseite für einen schönen Blick auf das Meer.
Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein offenes Wohn- / Esszimmer / eine Küche. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Herd / Ofen und Kühlschrank. Alle Utensilien und Kochgeschirr zur Verfügung gestellt.
Weitere Annehmlichkeiten umfassen eine Waschmaschine / Trockner, Kabel-TV, einen Videorecorder und WLAN. Es gibt eine private Terrasse auf der Rückseite und ein Grill ist vorhanden.
Bettwäsche und Badetücher sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
Liegestühle und Badetücher werden NICHT bereitgestellt.
Dieses Haus ist seit über 50 Jahren in unserer Familie. Wir bezeichnen es gerne als "unser kleines Stück Himmel". Dies ist ein älteres Zuhause und wir versuchen ständig, ein Upgrade durchzuführen, wenn wir können.
Wir bieten monatliche Raten für Januar bis März. Der Preis basiert auf einer Verfügbarkeit von mindestens 28 Tagen.

Classic Perfection

This home is not fussy. It has seen its share of good times and happy family vacations. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to make a large group comfortable, yet cozy enough for solo visitors or couples. It is on the beach and on the bike path, beach access and two restaurants are steps away, and yet the house still feels like a private paradise. My husband and I brought our own camping chairs and spent hours in them on the front patio drinking our coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise, and in the afternoon, drinking our happy hour cocktails and watching the birds and the deer in the yard. The house was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. We slept soundly in the upstairs bedroom after each hectic day, enjoying the cross breeze that the open screened windows allowed in. This is a house where memories are made.

Regroup with family.

It's an older home but the owners tell you that up front. There have been quite a few noticeable upgrades (tile flooring, windows and door).It's perfect for the elderly because there are no stairs to climb if they don't want to. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs, 2 with bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms and a playroom upstairs, along with a bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked and the beach is a stroll away.

Great Location

I can’t say enough about the owner Jim and his extra efforts in working with me! The location was great and the house was very spacious for our group with six bedrooms and 4 baths. The location is front row to the beach and had a large second story Sun Room with a great view. I highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group.

80th Birthday Beach Bonanza

We booked this house for the family to celebrate Dad's 80th birthday. It was fantastic. There was plenty of room for everyone. The sunroom was a hit, super good bonus room. The location cannot be beat, short walk down the stairs to the beach and all the places we wanted to go on the island were only a couple minutes away. We are already planning the next stay!

Great Location!

We loved the location! You can see the ocean from certain spots in the house and hear the waves. (the dunes block some of the view) but it is only a very short walk to get to the beach. We love to ride our trikes and try not to use the car. This location was centrally located to so many places that we could ride to. The house is old but clean and functional. So the price is more reasonable than other houses on the beach. The living room and sunroom are renovated and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of pots, pans, and utensils in the kitchen. It was well stocked. We will rent this home again.

The house was great, plenty of room and close to everything! Also the house was right next to the bike path which made it easy to ride bikes to just about anywhere on the island.

Perfect location, home needs TLC and updates

We loved the location, right on the water and on the walking trail. We thought the house needed deeper cleaning—the front door, the refrigerator door has stains, and the floors need cleaning. There are two broken lamps, and a ceiling fan that didn’t work right. Saying all of this though, we had a great stay, and did appreciate seeing all of the family pictures around showing us great memories the owners have had over many generations.

Christmas at the beach!

Wonderful spot! Short 2 minute walk to beach. House had plenty of space for all 9 of us to play, talk and watch football. Beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Older home but well maintained and very inviting and comfortable. Would highly recommend it and hope to come back ourselves sometime. Thank you,Jim and family!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time at the house! Lots of space for 9 of us. Host was very responsive! Though you can see the beach from the upstairs livinh room, there is no walkway to the beach. There ixms one to the right and left that arevery close. Would definitely recommend and sysy again!

Jekyll Island Family Vacation

I highly recommend renting the Stewart Cottage for your next family trip, fur family too! I travel quite a bit (work, vacation & workcations) and I can honestly say that Stewart Cottage has been my favorite place to stay on Jekyll Island. I will only continue to request this rental when I go to Jekyll Island and will refer (have referred to several people already) anyone going to Jekyll Island to the Stewart Cottage! I took my family of 10 plus fur babies on this vacation. Everyone from ages 9 - 82 years old had such a wonderful time and loved this property plus the wonderful sea breeze and continuous ocean waves are so relaxing! The Stewart Cottage is such a very convenient location with plenty of parking and easy access to the beach. This property is an older house that has been well taken care of by the family, so no flashy bells or whistles but the location, calmness, space, and complete relaxation that you have while staying here is worth every penny. The whole ambience of this property is a house for your family and your pets to enjoy. Plus the nightly visits from the deer are an additional bonus! And I want to add that Jim is completely the most wonderful host! We now consider him part of our family!

Based on the first picture we thought the beach access was right from the house so we were sad to see it was not BUT the beach access was only 500 feet and the home was lovely. Very spacious and we really enjoyed it. If we return to Jekyll we will stay here again !

Clean no frills, close to the water with great views

The property is dated, but some updates have been made. it feels like you are staying at the family hide away. The views are beautiful and we were happy to have several island deer visit in the backyard. Easy beach and bike path access.

Ladies trip

Nice location, well stocked kitchen with amenities, furniture and bed were all nice. If someone would do some minor changes, ie replace burned out light bulbs, fix sliding door so it will lock, replace broken blind and stop the leak in the upstairs bathroom.. it would be first class! Except for minor repairs that are needed, excellent!

Amazing location and house size!

This place is literally on the beach! Want to see the ocean, or a fever of rays feeding? Just walk through the sliding doors of the living room. The layout is fantastic for multiple families doing together time at the beach. The walk to the beach is so short, it’s not some epic scheduling event. Go when you want to. We had some issues when we were there, but the owner was extremely responsive! I think most of our issues were just not reported by previous tenants. This property is huge and can easily accommodate 3 separate families, while affording space to disconnect from the craziness. Loved it, and would book again!
